Kiater Aburame

PostPosted: Tue Mar 27, 2007 2:43 pm

Kiater Aburame stood outside of the Acadmy near the entrance and gazed at it with an emotionless face from under her glasses. A small wind blew and shifted her baggy clothes which included a white tank-top, black shorts and black and white glove. After a second, she decited to go inside -- she was ready to pass the Acadmy. She was thinking it to be simple. She slid open the door to the Acadmy and entered inside. She looked around silently -- taking in everything in sight.

Mitsuko arrived at the academy, looking for her new student. Mitsuko was told that she was an Aburame, and that provided interesting challenges on her part of teaching. Mitsuko saw a silent girl with sunglasses dressed simply. "Hi, are you Kiater? If you are, then I shall be your instructor." Mitsuko paused for a second to see her reaction, and then continued:"Anyway, please don't call me sensei, because that makes me feel old, just call me oneechan, or elder sister. Now I'm sure you are ready to start training for your academy jutsu. Please do so, while you are doing that, I shall instruct you on the fundamental strategies that i have acquired in my time as a kunoichi..."

Hedoro

Hedoro took her seat, and watched as the instructor walked into the classroom. Normally at this point, gossip and small-talk would be sputtering out, but today seemed different. Everyone was quiet, apparantly they were all focused on learning as much as they could for the looming exams. This seemed to suit the instructor just fine, he immediately went into the day's lessons. As there were only a few days left before the exam, the lessons would be primarily review and practice. Today was all about shinobi history and practical jutsu application.
Both of these areas were ones that Hedoro needed further experience with, so she made sure to pay close attention. The instructor started with the more boring of the two, the history of the various ninja villages. As dry a subject as it was, he nonetheless made it at least somewhat interesting. That, combined with all of the students' zeal, made it unlikely there'd be anyone who would fall asleep during this lesson. Hedoro payed attention, doing what she could to soak up all the information presented to her. There was a pretty good chance this information would be on the exam, and it was one of her worse subjects, so she did her utmost to learn.

Tamao

Tamo listened as the instructor began the lesson. History of the villages, hmm? She knew a good bit about the subject, but it payed off to pay attention. The teacher mentioned a few things that she hadn't known, and a few that she'd forgotten. All in all, it was proving to be a very fruitful bit of review, hopefully the rest of the day would measure up to it's beginning. She wrote a few notes for future study, in case she decided to do a late-night cram session or something.
The lesson went on for a good two hours, and by then even the most diligent student was finding the lesson a little boring. The instructor had expected this, and went directly into the next part of the day's schedule. Physcial work. He told all of the students to stretch out and meet him at the training field in ten minutes. With that, he turned on his heel and strolled out the door. It was pretty well known to most instructors that physical work helped keep the mind awake, so mental exercises and studying would be more effective. Get the heart pumping, the blood flow would keep the students awake better than any long-winded lecture.

Hedoro

Hedoro had very nearly nodded off during the tail-end of the lesson. But when the instructor changed his pattern and spoke up about going out to the field, that caught her attention. Physcial work was just the thing to get her going, make sure she didn't get too sleepy listening to lessons like these. She was a fairly physical person, she'd survived on her own for this long because of the strength of her body.
Getting up, she checked her disguise; good, it seemed to still be in place. Glancing over at Tamao, she waited until she was ready, they'd walk over together. she had no idea what they'd be doing, but she would do her best. That was a given, if she didn't put it all on the line then she wouldn't ever get any stronger. And in the end, that was the only thing keeping her going. Not a desire to protect people, not even Tamao; not a desire to better herself, or to become famous; all she wanted was to be strong enough that she didn't have to worry about being used like she had for so long. She'd become stronger, yes, and she'd never be used like she was ever again!

Tamao

Tamao followed Hedoro out of the classroom, out of the academy, and onto the training field. She wondered what Hedoro was thinking about, she certainly looked fired up about something. That was good, she was excited about training, hopefully she'd be just as energetic for their extra training later. By the time they arrived at the field, Tamao felt a little fired up as well, some of Hedoro's energy must have spread to her. She did some basic stretches, not sure what they'd be called upon to do. So to be on the safe side, she just tried to limber up her whole body, and had Hedoro give her a hand.
Straightening up, she hopped in place a little, and turned to face the instructor. He was already saying what they'd be doing, so she moved closer to hear. Laps? Just a dozen laps around the field, that was it? That didn't sound like all that much, was it even worth it? She shrugged and turned to Hedoro, nodding and then taking off. She didn't push herself too hard, instead going at a decent jogging speed. Faster than walking, but slow enough that she wouldn't wipe herself out.

Kiater Aburame

PostPosted: Tue Mar 27, 2007 5:23 pm

The Aburame turned to see a female Shinobi. As she spoke, Kiater made eye contact, as she always had done to show that she was listening to what someone was saying. When the woman asked if she was Kiater, she nodded once in reply to show that she was indeed Kiater. This was the kunoichi I was told about, Kiater thought as she put her hands inside of her short's pockets and kept on listening, my new Sensei... Or 'Oni-chan', as she wishes for me to call her. Kiater nodded.
"I understand", she stated to Oni-chan and waited for her to go on.

"Now, the first thing a smart kunoichi should do is to master the arts of her clan..." said Mitsuko as she thought of ways to continue this topic. "Now I am aware that you are of the aburame clan, and you specialize in manipulating the parasetic destruction beetles, am I correct? Because this trait is unique to you, you should try using it for a variety of purposes....what would you do if a taijutsu user attacked you with a spinning kick? how would you use your special trait to counter that?" After she said that, Mitsuko made a kagebunshin and it did a normal kick right at Kiater.

(feel free to train in the techniques of the academy by yourself...I'll be here giving you hints for what comes later on. You train and I talk) whee

Hedoro

Hedoro had drifted closer to the instructor as well, she heard what they'd be doing at the same time as Tamao had. Their eyes met and she nodded in agreement, they were ready to begin. While Tamao went with a steady jogging pace, Hedoro didn't hold herself back. She started out somewhat slow but grew faster and faster until she was eating up the track. She didn't go to her peak speed, but still a decent pace, she'd finish as one of the fastest if she kept this pace up. And she saw no reason why she'd change her speed, she had a good amount of stamina and it's not likes he could pull a muscle or anything.
It didn't take long for her to finish, the twelve laps weren't all that much to speak of anyways. So she didn't stop, she kept going until she almost lapped Tamao a third time. She slowed down then, matching her speed to her partner's so they could sort of finish together. Neither of them was out of breath, but then again it hadn't been that daunting of a task, either. The only students who were out of breath were those who'd sprinted the whole thing. They'd gone even faster than Hedoro, and were paying for it now.

Tamao

Tamao watched as Hedoro blazed up the track. She expected as much, but she had still hoped they could have ran together. But she didn't push herself, she didn't want to get all sweaty and then head back to class. So she kept to her pacing, moving at a decent speed. A few other students had the same plan as her, so she took the chance to do a little chatting, their talking taking the rhythm of their feet hitting the ground.
But she didn't stay with the others for long. They must have done more training, or perhaps they were just better runners, but they began to pull ahead. Not by much, just a gradual distance that grew between them until they were a quarter of a lap ahead. She was about two thirds done now, and wondered what else she could do to occupy her mind while she ran. Just then, someone came up from behind and slowed down to match her pace. turning to see who it was, she smiled and greeted Hedoro. She asked if she hadn't already finished, and laughed a little when Hedoro nodded, but said that it hadn't been enough. They finished the last lap together, and came to a stop, Tamao just a little bit out of breath.

Hedoro

Hedoro finished at the same time Tamao did, and slowed down until coming to a complete halt. Looking around, she saw that most of the other students had already finished, there were only a few stragglers who were taking it even slower than Tamao had. The teacher was sitting casually on a tall tree stump, his legs dangling under him. He had been watching the whole thing, but he didn't say if the results meant anything. Instead, he only ushered the class back into the classroom. He did allow anyone that needed it to go catch a shower first, though only the speed demons took him up on the offer.
Hedoro and Tamao both went back to the class with the majority of the other students, and a short time later, once the class was full once more, the lesson resumed. This time it was on the practical usage of the different jutsu they had learned. Each jutsu was useful, and each in a unique way. This lesson would explain that, it would teach the students how and when to use the techniques to become better ninjas. Admittedly the five techniques the lesson covered were only the basics, but a ninja had to master the basics before they did anything else.

Tamao

Tamo felt her heartbeat gradually slow down, back to it's normal rhythm. She went back to the classroom with the others, only stopping for a quick drink of water on the way. Once back in the room, it was a somewhat boring wait for the students who had decided to take showers to return. Once they had, the lesson resumed with the next subject. Tamao payed attention, strategy and tactics was something that it never hurt to hear again. Learn it so well that the body reacted on it's own, that was a key point in becoming a really good ninja.
She didn't know if she was at that level yet, but she would try. She made sure to pay attention, and because of that, the lesson seemed to fly by. Once it was done, the instructor told everyone to take a quick lunch, and come back for the day's final lesson. Tamao tidied up her things before standing up, and checked with Hedoro if she was ready to go eat. They had been given enough time that they could take their time eating, or grab a quick bite and then do some studying or something. Either one was fine with her, she'd leave it for Hedoro to choose.

Hedoro

Hedoro thought for a moment, and said she thought it'd be better to just eat, save any extra training for after the regular lesson had finished for the day. Then they wouldn't have to worry about time limits, they could devote as much time as they needed to whatever they would be working on. Getting to her feet, she waited for Tamao to lead the way to the cafeteria.
They both got in line and grabbed something to eat. Just a light lunch, they didn't want to be weighed down during any further activity. After getting some food, they found a table and sat down. There were a few other people there, which made Hedoro nervous. She still wasn't completely sure in her disguise, what if they saw? She had to hope for the best, maybe they wouldn't notice her? But no, as soon as the two of them sat down, the others at the table turned to face them and started chatting. She didn't know if she should participate in the conversation or not, but finally decided it might be strange if she didn't say anything. If she talked too much it would be bad too, so she decided to only talk when she had something to say. That seemed to be the safe middle ground, hopefully it'd be enough.

Tamao

Tamao went to the cafeteria, with Hedoro accompanying her. She had worked up a little bit of an appetite from that brief run earlier, but not enough to want a full meal. She grabbed some food and found a table where some of her other friends were seated. Sitting down, she joined in the conversation with them, wondering if Hedoro would do the same. The topic of the conversation wasn't all that dramatic, just about how everyone thought they'd do on the upcoming exams.
Overall, most of the students seemed pretty confident in how they'd do, but a few were having pre-exam jitters. The others were helping them as much as they could, much like what Tamao was doing for Hedoro. That was good, the more of them that passed, the better. And they were learning a type of teamwork, by working together to achieve better results. As the conversation went on, time passed, as did their meals. They still had a fair bit of time left, but not enough that they could just sit there chatting forever. Tamao finished her meal, but waited for a moment before taking it back to drop off, waiting until everyone was done talking.

Hedoro

Hedoro listened to the conversation, making sure to listen if there was something that would concern her. Overall, there wasn't, but one or two of the other people noticed her and asked about her outfit. She tried to think of something to say, and finally something came to her. Instead of commenting on the irregularity of her outfit, instead she reacted to the question as a comment about the fashion it represented. She thanked them, and admitted that Tamao had helped her choose it out.
From there, the conversation dwindled down to just small comments here and there, as everyone rushed to finish their meals before classes resumed. Hedoro had finished earlier than the others, even earlier than Tamao had, but they both waited until everyone else was done before getting up and dropping their dishes off. Once they had, the group migrated as a whole back to their classes. Hedoro and Tamao seperated from the group, as none of the others had the same class as them. They walked into the classroom, and took their seats. The next lesson was about to begin, but at least they weren't late.
