Taking back her Pokemon after they had been healed, Nina walked outside of the Pokemon Center, and released Krystal. "To Saffron, my dear," she said, climing onto her Pokemon's back, smiling a bit.

With a little nod, and a smile of her own on her face Krystal took off into the sky. I wonder if Nitro's ever had feelings toward another Pokemon before? she though, feeling like a child.

Stopping next to Keegan he waited patiently as he made the phone call. Kenny just floated easily over his shoulder happy to not be forced inside a pokeball all the time. It made him feel like he was trusted, of course it be the fact that he was one of his trainer's easier to be around pokemon. Either way it still felt good to be outside.

Mitsu made her way to the bathroom inside the Pokemon Center, dragging her stuff behind her. When she arrived she took a good, long look in the mirror. "I look like a mess," she whined. She turned the silver handle on the sink faucet allowing the warm water to spill over her hands. Mitsu splashed water over her face and arms, cleaning all the ashes and blood away. The water had caused the cut on her face to start beelding again so she took a band-aid out of her backpack and place it over the cut on her cheek, it just barely fit.

"Now to get rid of these," she muttered walking into a stall. When she came out she wore a black long sleeve shirt that showed the white one she wore underneath. Insead of pants she had decided to go with a skirt this time. It wasn't too long, and she hoped it wasn't too short, as she tugged it down a bit more. It was lovely lavander color that match the boots she now wore. Taking one good look at herself, she deicded that something was missing. Her eyes widened, as if saying "oh! I know!" Taking out a brush from her bag she combed her hair, until it was straight and shiney. Placing it back she drew out a white and purple bandana and tied it on. "All done," Mitsu announced to herself as she walked out of the bathroom, tossing the old, ruined clothing away.

"Finish it off with a Wing Attack," the man commanded. The Fearow was more than happy to, it swooped down hitting the butterfly Pokemon hard. Sakura dropped out of the sky, fainted. Rin recalled her, quicklying throwing another Pokeball forwards. "Akira! Help me out here!" she shouted as the Mawile sprang forth. "Not if I can help it girl. Fearow another Wing Attack," he countered. The bird rushed forwards ready to deal a damaging blow the the Steel Pokemon. "Bite!" Rin screamed. And Akria did just that. As the Fearow flew closer the large mouth on the side of it's head clamped down hard on the unsuspecting bird. The Fearow squwaked, flapping it's wings backwards, trying to escape. "Don't let go Akira!" Rin called beginning to feel a little more calm now that she had the upper hand. The man growled, it was just a waiting game now, and he had no patience. He held up a black pokeball recalling the bird Pokemon. "There's your chance Akira! Bite!" Rin shouted once more, but this time pointing to the Rocket. She raced forwards, surprisingly fast, but only to get a mouth full of a Rapidash's legs. "Stomp Rapidash!" The fiery Pokemon raised it's hooves and smashed down on the ground, causing Akira to let go. "Flamethrower!" he commanded, not letting Akira or Rin recover from the previous attack. The flamed brushed up against Akira, but it was all that it needed. She fainted in a heap on the forest floor. Rin recalled her fallen friend, but before she could release another Pokemon an all to familiar voice called out, "Surf!"

Kasiya looked up as the door opened, and the nurse came back into the room, a Chansey right behind her. She motioned for the girl to climb up onto the gurney. Kasiya did as she was told, wincing as the movement caused her wound to throb and fresh blood seeped out into the white gown. "Sorry," Kasiya said sheepishly, looking at the new stain with dismay.

"It's alright," Nurse Joy said gently, pushing aside the gown and examining the wound. "It's not as serious as it looks," she added. "But it will need stitches."

"I was afraid of that," Kasiya sighed, preparing herself.

Joy chuckled. "Don't worry," she said sweetly. "Just because I'm a Pokemon doctor doesn't mean I don't know about medicine for humans. Now hold still." She cleaned the wound, then used an anesthetic to freeze the area. Kasiya kept perfectly still, not daring to even look at what Joy was doing. "There, all done," she said. "Took about ten stitches, but at least it's closed now. You should get yourself up, but first, Chansey, if you don't mind?"

"Chansii!" she cried gleefully, and closed her eyes in concentration. A fair-sized, white egg appeared in her hands, and she handed it to Kasiya.

"Oh, Softboiled!" Kasiya said, accepting the egg. She'd eaten a Chansey's Softboiled egg once before. It had been a while ago, and Nina’s Chansey, Angel, had given her one to help her feel better.

"This should revitalize you, and start that nasty wound on the right path to healing. Now, eat that all up, then you should go get yourself cleaned up," the kind nurse smiled. "I'll go check on your friend, maybe she'd like a Softboiled egg too."

"Thank you for everything," Kasiya said, already chewing on a mouthful of the delicious egg as the nurse left her alone. A gentle warmth seemed to flow through her entire body as she ate, and she soon felt better than she had in a long time. Any lingering pain in her ankle had disappeared, and all the bruising was gone too, as well as all the minor cuts, scrapes and other bruises she'd obtained in the past while. Once she'd finished eating, she gathered her things, poked her head out of the examination room and tiptoed down the hall to one of the vacant showering rooms.

Both gym leader and Pokemon watched fearlessly as the wave of water rose out of the ground, already weakened by the bright rays of sunshine shimmering down through the skylights in the ceiling. Flannery merely smiled, a thin smile playing at her lips. I won't be taken so lightly, she thought. Torkoal quickly withdrew himself into his shell, bracing himself for the watery attack as it crashed into him. He grit his teeth, refusing to give in to the overgrown lobster before him. "You know what to do, Torkoal!" Flannery told her Pokemon in a calm voice. Faster than one would expect from a fire tortoise, Torkoal came out of his shell and expelled an intense burst of flames that quickly took shape into a five-pointed star. The Fire Blast raced across the floor, the two lower points leaving blackened streaks as it charred the very ground it crossed, the remaining water sizzling and crackling from the extreme heat.

"I've got a trick or two left." He spoke softly, snapping his fingers. "Xanthos, Protect!" With a split second before impact, the Crawduant let out a sharp grunt, crossing his claws in the signature X pattern that earned him his name. The attack connected with a sharp explosion, smoke jetting to all sides around the crab Pokemon. The room cleared, Xanthos stood proud, brushing off some soot from his scarred carapace.

Feeling significantly better than before, Kasiya stepped out of the shower. She looked disdainfully at the blood-soaked, ruined dress, and finally threw it away, reasoning with herself that she buy a new one later. She rummaged through her bag, coming up with a new outfit of her own, realizing her mother had stuck it in there just before she'd left. Thankful for her mother's concern, she changed into the new outfit - a black t-shirt with a green vest to wear overtop, two deep pockets in the front of it. With it came a matching green skirt, which Kasiya thought was quite short until she realized it was actually a 'skort,' a pair of shorts cleverly concealed under the skirt. She also found a pair of black socks, along with a new pair of black hiking boots - if only she'd known about them before they'd climbed up the mountainside! Finally, for a finishing touch, she opted to wear the black and green fingerless gloves she'd found in the side pocket, as well as a green bandana with a Pokeball icon embroidered on the front. She tied it on, and looked at herself in the mirror. Short wisps of blonde hair framed the sides of her face, and hung evenly at the nape of her neck. Quite satisfied with her new appearance, she cleaned up after herself and ventured out into the common room of the Pokemon Center, looking cheerful and ready to take on the world.

Taking a moment to recollect her thoughts she realized that Ebony hadn't been out of his ball lately. She liked to give each of her Pokemon time outside of thier Pokeballs. She threw his Pokeball out gently, "Heya Ebony!" Mitsu said with a smile. The Gengar laughed with it's teeth clenched, latching himself onto his favorite spot, Mitsu's shoulder.

"Kasiya!" Mitsu said with a slight wave at a figure not too far away. It had taken her almost a second to realize the trainer in green was indeed her friend. "Feeling any better?" she asked making her way over.

Mag and Maurice began the trek up to the top of the ridge. The two followed another exit from the current cavern. Their pokemon held a conversation behind them as Maurice and Mag started one of their own.

"So... You been here long?" Mag asked as the two walked. "Yep. I lived here before I started my own pokemon journey. It is a nice little place. Hahaha! How about you? Are you from these parts?" Maurice asked in return. "Well I lived on Four Island with my Grandparents before I started my journey. They own a pokemon daycare/breeding facility up there..."

"So what is it like being able to fly?" Sunfire asked.
"Uh pretty good I guess. It's easier to reach into cabinets to get food." "I see... I guess that could be helpful. I wish I could fly sometimes but being on the ground is fun too."

A rather large wave crashed upon the battle feind knocking out the Rapidash with one hit. "Sloowww.." the Pokemon cheered. Rin whipped around in find her sister, Risa, behind her. She had her arms folded aacross her chest. "You really are a sorry excuse for a trainer Rin," Risa scoffed, brushing her dark blue hair away from her eyes. The two looked fairly similar.

"Great," the man muttered, "But I'm not through yet girls!" He threw another Pokeball forwards an Arbok appearing after the red light diminished. "Poison Sting!" he commanded pointing at the Slowbro. The snake hissed, launching thin needle like darts at the Risa's Pokemon. "Counter with Psychic," Risa said calmly, a smirk playing on her lips. "Slooowww," it uttered after a few seconds later. A faint blue aura appeared around the attack stopping it in place then they had a change in course and flew back toawrds the Arbok. It hissed as the needles hit it's mark. "That's how you're suposed to do it," Risa said looking down at her kid sister.

"Oh? I see, so that is where you got your Flareon then?" Maurice asked. "Yep. Him and that is where I got hooked on pokemon since I was around them all the time." Mag agreed. "Well here we are!" Maurice shouted adding a laugh.

"Yeah I can see why you would despise banannas with a story like that behind them." Sciz muttered.
"Well that is a weird conversation." Mag added as he caught the tail end of the sayings.

The four looked upon the shack. It was a bit old and screamed rustic log cabin. It looked a bit run down but it was an okay place at least on the outside. The place was two stories and had a nice chimney. The wood was stained cherry and looked wonderful. In the front was what appeared to be a battle arena.

It was getting to be evening time in the quiet town of Pallet, the sun was setting and creating a beautiful array of color's on the sky. Most people were outside enjoying the beautiful sky, one however wasn't. That wasn't because she was to young to see the beauty in the sky or was to busy playing video games or something else, she wasn't enjoying it because she couldn't. The young girl went by the name Toph Bei Fong and had been blind since her birth. However there was something special about this girl, maybe it was because of the fact that she wasn't as blind as other's thought she was, in fact Toph had better 'sight' then many. You see when Toph was younger she was visted by a strange pokemon, while the pokemon couldn't fix her eye's it did give her the ability to feel the earth's vibration's allowing her to see with her feet. The best way to explain it would probably be like how a Zubat would use ecolocation to see. Either way while her eye's maybe useless she wasn't blind at all. While many people pittied her sightless existance she was out to prove herself.

Standing in the large courtyard stood the young Toph Bei Fong her hair under the round black cap oh her head and her bare feet dirty dispite people's many attempts to wash them. A smirk was on the blind girls face as she walked confidently though the yard the grass tickling her feet. Unlike most people her head faced forward the whole time dispite all the sounds and other activity going on around her. As she neared one part of the courtyard that held a small pond she stamped her foot once and a medium sized white pokemon with long claws came out from the bushes. "Edgy, is there anyone watching?" She said in a quiet yet still authoritative tone that left no room for arguement.

The white pokemon, a Zangoose, raked one of his long sharp claws on the ground. Clearly that ment something as a satisfied smirk appeared on Toph's face as she called out easily. "All right you can come out of the water now Storm."

((How do you like Toph's introductory post?))

"Heya Mitsu!" Kasiya called cheerfully, doing a twirl as she walked up to her friend. "Never better! How about you?" She glanced over towards the front desk, wondering if her Pokemon were ready yet. "Hi Ebony! Haven't seen you in a while," she smiled, reaching up to pat the playful Gengar. "Are our Pokemon ready yet?" she asked, standing on tiptoes to try and peer into the Pokemon treatment room.

"That's enough!" The sand storm died down and Larvitar turned to look ar Crenu and Spinarak. Crenu stood and dusted himself offgrinning at Larvitar's progress. "Not bad Larvitar, but you gotta learn a little more controll. Lets try a little battling between the two of you, learn some more basics of fighting, you know?" Larvitar nodded and jumped back while spinarak shook her head in protest. "Whats wrong girl? Who don't you wanna train?" Spinarak shook her head again and lifted on of it's legs, pointing to a tree with berries growing all over. "Oh, I see. Well I suppose we could take a little break. How's that sound Larvitar?" Larvtar nodded happily and ran over to the tree. Crenu smiled at him, then at Spinarak on his shoulder. "Spinarak, use stringshot and get us some berries. Larvitar, use sandstorm to catch the falling berries and bring them down safly. Be carfull so that you don't damage the berries." Spinarak jumped from his shoulder and shot multiple strings of webbing from her mouth, capturing serverl of the berries into a bunch and pulling them down from the tree. Larvitar planted himself and concentrated to the point where he had created a small cushion of sand that spun around under the berries. The berries landed in the sand, protected by the string shot, and floated down safely. "Good job guys, now lets eat." Crenu picked up the bundle of berries and sat down against the tree. Spinarak jumped up onto his shoulder and Larvitar took a seat next to him. The three took berries from the bundle and pealed away the silk, then ate the berries happily.
