*Luke carefully walks up to the door of Chuck's room. He quietly pushes the door open... and sees.*
*Max on the floor, curled up in a blanket...and Aimee with the whole bed to herself, with her head buried under all three pillows.*
*Luke does everything he can to quiet his laughter.* Priceless. That is ********' priceless.

That bed looks pretty looks pretty priceless to me... but I'll kick back this time...

*Luke smiles when he sees how comfortable Cora is with the whole thing. Good.*
*Luke walks over to Max. He bends down.* "Rise and shine, defense. Wake up. I need you to block the front line."
*Max groaned.*
*Luke shook him a little.* "C'mon, man. You want Larry to kick your a**? I'll tell him you slept in."
*Max grunted.* "I'm getting up."
*Luke shook him around.* "C'mon. Get up." *When Max stirs and looks like he's getting himself together, Luke walks out to the bathroom. He washes his face, runs water over his hair, and changes into his exercise shorts, t-shirt, and tank top with their team logo.*
*By the time Luke comes back, Max is banging around in his own room, probably pissing off Chuck, as he searches for his own sports gear.*
*Luke looks at the clock. He's got ten minutes to goof around. He walks into Chuck's room, where Aimee and Cora are in bed. He strolls up and slowly climbs into bed between them. Overtop of the covers, he gently lifts the pillows.*
*He sees Aimee asleep and facing him..... Luke leans in so that his nose is only a centimeter away from hers. He waits...*
*Aimee's eyes pop open, and Luke goes.* BOO.

*Aimee groans and whimpers a little. She leans into him to hit him with her shoulder, but really, she winds up just resting against him.*

*From outside the room, Max mimicked.* Luke stop it. I just wanna sleeeeeep. Mehhh.
*Luke chuckles and he rubs Aimee's shoulder as she goes back to sleep.* Have a good sleep, ladies. My work here is done.
*Luke got up carefully out of bed, grabbed his stuff, and went to lacrosse practice with Max.*

*At 1:30, Luke and Max returned from lacrosse practice, rather noisily.*
Max was the first inside. "--Did you see the look on Wakowski's face?"
Luke followed, shutting the door behind him. "Man got railroaded. Jeremy's gotta stop doing that. You see how far it went? That ball went out of bounds and into ******** New Jersey."
Max smirked. "Yeah! Who was he throwing it to?"
"Nobody. Somebody -I- can't ********' see." Then Luke went on to say. "He just can't control it. He's got the best throw I've seen. He just needs to work on his aim. I mean, if he could hit the goal? Be a ******** force to be reckoned with."
"I thought he was defense."
"He was! Larry moved him."
"He's been movin' us around lately. I think he wants to throw off University of Maryland."
"I think he wants to make Jeremy an attack."
"No way."
"Why else would he do that?"
Max looked uncertain. "He better settle it. It's only his first year, but..."
And Max's last. Luke kept that part to himself and smiled at Max. "Yeah. In the meantime, he just better not be unlucky. We don't need any concussions just cuz Larry's got a new side project." Luke headed to his room, stripping off his shirt.
"I'm just glad he hasn't shuffled him off to me," Max said. Then he added, "********, I'm tired."
Thanks to Cora and her adrenaline stims, Luke was feeling strangely fine. Odd, considering that he normally felt like he was gonna pass out at this point in his weekend. All Luke says to that is, "Yeah, me too. I'm gonna clean up."
*Luke takes a shower, changing into clean jeans and a t-shirt. After he's done, he notices that the house is rather quiet. Chuck's nowhere to be found. Max is in his room, probably next in line for the shower. Then Luke goes to check on Aimee and Cora.*
*The girls are still sleeping in Chuck's bed.*
*Haha. Bums.*
*Luke smiles a little at them. They're still sleeping on opposite sides of the bed. Much more carefully than before, Luke climbs into bed so that he doesn't wake them. He turns himself towards Aimee... and puts an arm around her. He relaxes, napping.*
