Makoto smiled to her when she insisted on hot chai instead, placing the orders before turning to see what caught her attention. What is it? he asked, turning to see his 'mother'. Whoa... when did she get here? he said, moving to hide behind Toshi.
Ashili's smile faded a bit as she saw the two, noticing Makoto's sad attempt to his from her. She smiled apologetically to Toshi, clearing her throat a bit before turning back to the two girls she was already standing with.

Noir walks in dragging his feet to the counter. Green Chai Tea Latte..please? He takes the cup and sits down and continues his sketch of the human body. Looking up he sees his Father and leaves immediatly with his sketch book and Latte sitting on the Wooden coffee table.

Noir returns several minutes later and gathers his stuff and moving to a nearby bench outside of the coffee house next to his father showing him his latest sketches. Your going to do alright here, son.. his father says trailing on about old memories. Noir soon gets teary-eyed and tells his father, do we have money for the books yet? He looks up to see his dad searching his pockets and shaking his head, It's never enough..They walk off to their new home on the south side of town.

Toshi frowned slightly as she saw the hurt in Ashili's eyes. She turned to Makoto and frowned. What's wrong, baby? She asked, moving to hold his hands. I think you hurt her feelings...

I just... he started, whining a bit. I don't like when I see people I don't have to see away from where I typically have to see them, plus she's ... I don't know, spying on me or something... Makoto said, stomping childishly.

ShtrDrNGry Jordyn's question made Sakura blush. Well....To be honest...It was against my will that I was brought here, she told him, trailing her finger around the rim of her mug of cider. My parents thought it would be best if I got...away. she laughed. Jordyn drew her closer with her hands; "Well," he stated, "I'm glad your parents thought you needed to get away."

Toshi frowned and shook her head. I doubt she's spying on you, 'koto...Maybe she just wanted to get away from you-know-who finally...She heaved a sigh and glanced back to Ashili, sad for her that her own child would feel such a way.
Sakura blushed deeply at Jordyn's comment - he was making it way too easy for her to fall in love with him. I'm glad too, now...she said softly, smiling as she leaned to meet his lips.

Lucius slipped into the shop, as usual, his hood drawn up close around his face and carrying his leatherbound book. He decided to try this coffee concoction, and ordered plain black codffe, stealing away to a table in the back. He set it on the table, but didn't as of yet, have the nerve to try it. It smelled fairly atrocious.

Sandrilene watched Ashili curiously, concerned as to why her smile faded as she looked at a couple coming in. "Are you ok?"

Makoto shrugged a shoulder, looking over to Ashili once more before turning to Toshi. I don't know, maybe she did... I never thought she'd be so smart though, he admitted, frowning in thought at memories that made him angry. He ordered for Toshi and he, moving her to a table nearby. Here... your chai and brownie... he said with a smile.
Ashili turned to Sandrilene, smiling and nodding a bit. Yes, I'm fine... she said politely. She ordered quickly and sipped at the hot beverage. Would you like to sit down...?

Yoshiko sat at a table in the corner of the coffeeshop, mildly surprised that no one had shoo'd her out when she'd fallen asleep. It wouldn't last- she'd have to find somewhere safe to sleep soon, but for now she needed sme more sugar-caffiene-lifeblood and went up to the counter to order, glancing around the semi-crowded cafe.

Toshi frowned and shook her head at Makoto. You don't have to say it like that...Ashili is bloody brilliant...You just don't want to see it. She shook her head again and moved her chai forward, smiling as the hot made it's way through the mug to her fingertips. She giggled to herself and pulled her hand from it, putting her fingers against her lips to let the heat move through her. I love hot drinks...she giggled, moving to sip the drink.
Tristian slipped through the doors of the coffeehouse, seemingly drawn by something he couldn't explain. He shyly glanced around, surprised by the amount of people he knew, and slunk towards the counter to order a cup of coffee.

Finally, he reached out and tipped back the styrafoam cup, barely managing to swallow the sludge inside before making a twisted, fisgusted face and putting it down, pushing it as far as he could away from him, the the far opposite corner of the table. Lucius did not like coffee.

Tristian took his mug and looked into it a moment, sighing softly before glancing around again. He didn't want to sit near anyone, which was a little difficult in a place with such few tables and booths. I could sit outside, i suppose...he thought to himself, and held his mug close as he made his way towards the door.

A familliar presence made Lucius turn his eyes up, subtly, trying not to be noticed doing it, and he broke out into a wide, fanged grin, glancing back down into his book, and smoothing his expression, calmly. Tristian. He reached out, gently, brushing against the shy boy's mind, softly, not speaking, really, just planting a thought.
'Look back'.
