Ophiuchus I decided to change the head to a marine helmet, because the normal head on that model sucks. I've also given him a bolt pistol and using a sword hilt, it has a handle with a skull attatched. Minor conversion, but it's something. Can you give us a piccy :O

Um.. I need to do some more "chaosy" work with the putty when this has dried. You'll notice a large putty lip? That's because the front chest armor's rim is acutally part of the model's original head, so it needed some re-making. And sanding down when it's dry to remove the small imperfections. Still, simple yet effective.

Seraphine-Exalted At any rate, I like what you did to it so far, but the helemt needs a more chaosy look as its very centered in the model ^^. Maybe a row a of spikes? I concur. Another option I used on my Chaos Lord is the helmet-mounted blades from the DE sprues that used to come with 3rd Edition. They make a great "razor blade mohawk" effect. biggrin

I extended the bit in the middle down the helm into a fine point. It now looks a little more chaosy. Trust me, it'll look cool painted. o_o

I am having trouble filling my elite choices in my army. i was thinking 2 terminator squads and an oblitorator cult. or 2 squads of possesed and a cult what do yall think?

_MS_ I am having trouble filling my elite choices in my army. i was thinking 2 terminator squads and an oblitorator cult. or 2 squads of possesed and a cult what do yall think? I usually only have 1 elite choice, and thats obliterators. If I have more, its either termies (almost never) or marked troops surprised .

im just starting my army. so far i have 3 bikes, 24 chaos marines, a defiler a chaos sorcerer, rhino,a icon bearer,and going to order 2 squads of raptors, and 2 land raiders.The rest i am still deciding on as far as strategy. i am going with black legion. what do you mean by marked? my color scheme is flat black scorpion green ,and for lords and sorcerers has brass, and brass with a translucent green.

Well so far what you have is roughly between 600 and 1000 points already, depending on how you equip things, your endlist comming down to between 1500 and 2500 with what your going to order, again dependant on equipment. At any rate, I would suspect that you have the Codex (being familiar with Black Legion), if you do not, buy it, it explains what marks are and how to apply them.

That icon bearer...
Put him in a Rhino with Daemonettes or Bloodletters (Bloodletters are expensive though) "attached" to his icon, or convert him so he's a Raptor with Furies "attached" to double your fun on the spot.

yea ihave the codex. i played in the past a little and fully getting into it now i still dont know all there is to know . but im trying to get a decent army.. point wise, also . my full plan, and and give me your feed back if you think something else would be more suitable, iwant..
"troop" 4 squads of chaos
"FAST Attack" 2 squads of raptors a bike squad
"Heavy support" 2 land raiders, 1 defiler
"ELITE choice" 2 squads of terminators, or possesed, and obliterator cult
"HQ"daemon prince and a chaos sorcerer
and an Icon bearer, and maybe a retinue for my prince
