*Swats cig away, hoping she didn't get any ash on the cookies* You get any cigarette cookies I find in here. *Looks at her cookie haul* I hope these are sweeter than the cookies I made the other day. I accidentally added too much cocoa powder, so I had to compensate by adding more of everything else. I didn't have enough sugar to fully compensate, so they weren't as sweet as usual. sweatdrop

ah, well everyone makes mistakes, but no these rain cookies are magic made so they have no mistakes in perfect flavor, hopefully tasting like a cookie and not like a perfect cherry or something sweatdrop I stopped making mistakes like that a long time ago but hey you never know when you'll make one, ne?

Well, some varieties are sour, but those are labeled because they're for things like making pierogis or pies, things like that.
The kind you eat fresh...I think we buy Bing cherries. Pick out ones that are very dark and firm, but not hard. The lighter and harder the cherry is, the more sour it will be.
Also, squishy cherries are overripe and taste kinda bitter.

Cherries are my favorite fruit. =P
My dad likes them a lot as well and since they're seasonal here, I had to teach myself how to pick out the good ones before he did. Because once they're gone, I'll not see them again until next year. XD
