“ Well, keep me informed with how things are going, ya? I am very curious!” She continued to sway with the boil despite whatever the beat the music might be, and laughed a bit. “ Ha! I know, right? But I did have a very impressive beard for…non-Viking standards. You are right though; beards are not really for ghouls.” After a bit more swaying, the ghoul lightly patted his shoulders. “ Well, I thank you once again for humoring me, friend. I greatly enjoyed this! Do not let me hold you up though if you want to be somewhere else.”

"I didn' mean... I mean... I meant t'compliment ya, but I didn' mean you look like an idiot, jus' me." He looked down again as she spoke, peering up through his lashes at her when she scolded him for, well, looking down. "Yeah, we could do that," West agreed as she stepped back toward the refreshments. He hadn't really had anything at all to eat tonight, but unlike last year when he hadn't been able to get enough of the refreshments, this year he had plenty of other things to keep him occupied. His hand lingered at Levi's waist as he took the first few steps off of the dance floor with her, slipping across her back when he let her go. At least he wasn't as concerned that someone was watching. This place was starting to get too crowded for anyone to care what he was up to. "So. Whatta y'wanna try first?"

"We will try," Jericho nodded before taking a step back after she patted him on the shoulders. "Try not to abuse that power too much, by the way. But... We should be making our rounds. Must make sure things are in order," the dragon said to the Valkyrie, "Thank you for the dance as well."

Heidla bowed courteously to Barth and addressed Calder with a sly smile: " Hope I am not too much of an intruder. And thank you for inviting me". For a moment Heidla thought with amusement that in her world the boils would be seeking out the privilege of even talking to her, save dancing with her. But here it seemed that no-one cared about it, and she was the one who was seeking out for friends. " Anyway, my date sort of ditched me, so I would appreciate your company". She could have been cross with Fai if she cared enough. The only thing that annoyed her was that technically he was a horseman, and aren't horsemen supposed to be in awe of the Order of Death. Well, but then again, she now held the horsemen lower than Halloween dwellers, so she flashed a smile to Barth and Calder. "Well, a Plague Doctor? I read a lot about them... Interesting, I would love to meet your friend. And your mask is wonderful! You don't look a bit your usual self. And green suits you perfectly". "I must warn you once again I'm a bad dancer", she whispered to Calder as soon as they headed for the dance. " The only dance I had here, was some Famine ritual dancing. Though you might have liked it", she remembered what he told her about the rituals of his kin. " Also, I hope your friends would like me". She wanted to add, "They should, as I am trying for the first time to be liked", but that was not something a priestess of Death would say so easily. Especially to a Halloweener. Especially Heidla.

“ I know, Jericho.” Hel said, her expression suddenly going solemn. “ With great power comes great responsibility…” She paused. “ And a lot of ******** razors.” She grinned then, and gave the dragon a small salute. “ Got ya. If you want another dance later or company, come find me! I would be more than happy! It was my pleasure.” That being said, Hel wandered back on out towards the edge of the dance crowd and pulled her mask back down, fussing with the bits of her wig as well.

"First time for everything~ Wait.. did you never get to do this as a scareling?" Mot asked with a laugh, shuffling around one area and moving their arms back and forth. This really was fun. Such a simple and immature thing. "Well, you're rather light, so it hardly feels like you're standing on my feet at all." But then again 90% of what comes out of Mot's mouth is always pure flattery. Still, she certainly wasn't hurting him at all. Though heels might have made that difficult. "Funny enough almost all my female friends are shorter.. the only time it wasn't remotely awkward to dance was with Riyo."

"I'll keep that in mind," the dragon said with a weak grin. He even chuckled a little at Hel's comment. Watching her meld into the crowd once more, he turned away to wander elsewhere as well.

That cruel grin was back as Titus looked to Shun. " Ah, that would be a no then. You don't have to tell me how much of a heartless harpy my sister is Shun...she's my sister." And then Riyo asked the winning question and Titus was just inclined to answer for the reaper. " Well, that's an easy one Riyo," Oh Jack he used her name. " ..because despite how much he wants to play her up as the heartless b***h she is that didn't keep him from banging her." Maybe Titus was a whee bit anger about it but what better way to make himself feel better than to rub it in Shun's ghoulfriend's face. --- The explanation helped a little but Mitsu was still uncertain of the significance of the name until Titus finally laid out the final details. While she knew she wasn't the first something about it being thrown in her face hurt and Mitsu's eyes were quick to find the ground. If she focused on her breathing maybe she could clear her mind of this. It wasn't that big of an issue was it? Shun still loved her and that's what mattered...so why did her chest feel so tight?

"It's alright, again your concern was touching." Salbei continued to smile in a manner he hoped was reassuring, reaching out with an unbloodied hand to pat her head and resisting every urge to ruffle her hair. "You are adorable, little filly." He chuckled, giving her head a little pat like a parent who was briefly congratulating their child.
"Danny. Pleasure to meet you, Danny." His head tilted, trinkets in his hair clinking softly as he listened to the music suddenly, trying to figure out what the heck this was. It was likely an attempt to distract the conversation from his ailment. "You scarelings have a, uh, interesting definition of music." Interesting was an understatement; in his mind, it was just a bunch of unnatural noises mashed together. But he supposed that was a cultural difference, one he would have to get used to quite quickly.
"Well, when in Conquest." He muttered to himself with a shrug, of course choosing the isle that had been completel opposite to his own. "Taima, I am unfamiliar with this music and I have no idea what your dancing is like, but would you care to dance with me?" And then he nudged Fai, gesturing towards Danny. "Perhaps you could accompany this young miss?""Yes, we are tied now." Needle grinned, folding her hands neatly on her lap. Her grin faltered a bit at his choice of words, pondering the implications; her hands lifted to press against her stomach. "Is that possible?" There was concern in her voice. Concern and Intrigue. A cast iron stomach? Someone could punch her and she could hurt them! As if her arms didn't already do enough damage.
"Photobooth..." The hesitation in her voice was clear as day, her head turning to look at her sister once more. "I do not mind, as long as there is warning for flashes." Likely though, Muka would get claws dug deeply into his arms; a booth wasn't a group of professionals willing to tell you when the flash was coming, after all. "Lattice, you should get one with Petro!" She sounded as encouraging as possible.

Shun glanced at Riyo. She looked like she was struggling with something there. "Titus's family is a supposed ally to mine, but this kid likes to piss on that sort of thing," he said before staring hard at Titus when he dredged up the past. "You like to live in the past don't you? Or are you so sick that you were hoping to have done that?" he said darkly. He didn't look at Mitsu right now. As he thought, the nightmare demon was taking this route. He'll have to talk to her later but right now he needed to deal with this b*****d right here. "Is that why you picked up Riyo here? Reminds you of your sister? Hoping to get lucky?" he hissed.

Danny smiled and said, "Okay! Go dance Taima it'll be fun!!" She let go of Sal's arm, giving him and Taima some room to walk out to the dance floor.
When she looked over at this "Fai" person though, she had second thoughts. She and plants had ... never really gotten along. Well, as long as he was okay with it... "Wanna dance?" she said, holding out her hand.
Wait, was she the boil in this situation?

Xiu cocked her head to the side, seriously considering his question. "Hmm...well maybe once or twice with my uncle, but my father has always been the serious sort, so..." She trailed off with a laugh and a shake of her head. "This is the first time I've danced like this with a friend too, but you guys are like family to me anyways!"
She was careful to keep her balance, and though a part of her wished that she had handed her camera off to someone to take pictures of this, it was easy to tell herself to relax and just enjoy herself. It wasn't everyday that she got to do a silly dance with Mot, and even if she couldn't capture it on film, this memory would definitely go into the file with all the others she had made this evening.
"I'll wear 8 inch heels next prom," She promised, only to pause and realize her mistake. After a moment of silence, she sheepishly added, "Though as third years...this is kind of our last prom, right?" She had forgotten about that.

Mmur was late. He wasn't terribly concerned, considering that he had no one to escort, but the horseman couldn't help but wonder what he had missed while he had been distracted. He hadn't realized just how interesting this campus was, especially under the cover of darkness. The first thing he noticed upon entering the school auditorium was that it had taken on the sort of stuffy quality of a space that had too many people breathing in it for too long. He crinkled his nose and pushed his ever-present helm away from his glowing eyes. He hadn't bothered to get another mask, considering that his chipped skull hid his face just fine, in fact the only change he had made to his appearance was to scout around for a nicer strip of fabric to secure around his waist. This one was green with tiny gold birds stitched across it. He had a flowering vine circling his bicep as well, but to be fair, that had already been there for a couple of days. He looked over the crowd, taking in the DJ booth, the wildly flailing students, and the refreshments. Food sounded good. Mmur ghosted across the room on his bare, calloused feet, stopping in front of the punch bowl, his eyes wide. He cupped a hand and dipped it into the liquid, bringing it up to his lips and taking a sip. Interesting. Out of the corner of his eye, the horseman noticed a familiar fluttering. A moth! A moth a moth a moth! He had never thought he would miss their absence, but Halloween was sorely lacking packs of good, sturdy bugs. He hurried away from the food, rubbing his wet hand on his scant clothing as he approached the moth's keeper. "Is she yours? She's quite lovely."

After taking care of this or that once he left Hel, Jericho wandered back to the main prom room with an extra accessory. There was a rope around his neck. Loosely. But it was still there. Why? He didn't feel like taking it off. It was.. kind of like a tie in a way. And so the dragon was wandering prom with a noose.

"Family. Definitely, I agree." Mot said warmly. His own dad was absent most of the time, especially after Mot was banned from the basement lab when he was five. So the old man got a little ticked because of a broken bottle or two. Big deal? Little Mot had not been a careful boil with delicate science work. Mot frowned. That was a huge dose of reality there. Next year they may not even be here anymore. "Aw. That's such a sad thought." Mot said sadly, his heart falling a bit. "Let's make sure the rest of our time here is the very best. And um.. I'd like to see you try and walk in 8 inch heels." He grinned and laughed.
