Description of error: I'd like to name him Never Forgets.
When he was a foal, my eager Totoma was humiliated in a fight with an older buck. Embarrassed, he vowed that he would one day prove himself stronger.

Description of error: Changing name from Totoma to River Crossing.
The ice across the great river cracked under her hooves. In the center, the spring meltwater flowed fast, great icebergs pushed along in its current. A few more steps and she would be in the midst of it, the freezing cold water bucking and roiling and pulling her downstream. She paused for a moment, and then leapt into the tumult.
It was only much later, when she crawled out of the bank on the other side of the river, dripping and cold, that she realized she had found her name.

Description of error: Changing name from Totoma to Lashtongue.
Always sharp and sarcastic, witty at the expense of others, kin had all kinds of names for her — but none of them stuck until the day of the great dispute. Three bucks, brothers, had come near to blows over an argument so convoluted none of them could even remember the cause. She'd stepped in, unprompted, and proceeded to insult each in turn: neatly, creatively, and cruelly.
It had the desired effect. All three of them turned the brunt of their anger on her, instead of on each other, and the name Lashtongue [the mildest of their replies to her] stuck.
