Her face was surprised after hearing that one can fight an Unforgivable Curse such as an Imperius Curse. Meiko's attention was fully on the lesson as she waited for the professor to answer the Gryffindor's question.

 Blake Byrne---4th year----Slytherin
Blake entered the classroom with a nuetral expression. He looked around and saw the Professor. He went up and said, "Hello. I am Blake Byrne a fourth year Slytherin. I'm new to the school and you class."

Alex noticed the new kid that had come in and Alex smiled for she thought he was kind of cute, but Alex then returned her gaze to the professor awaiting his answer

 Harmony Trumarie...
Harmony entered the classroom in time to hear Professor Reynolds and Alex bicker, she withheld a frown at what she considered silly. 'And here I thought every one got along with their house mates...' She thought, a bit sarastically. The girl inclined her head down in a nod of greeting to her teacher, and then took a seat in the center of the room. She gingerly placed her school bag in the chair next to hers. 'If this is another open forum then I hope we don't have to try that blasted charm again...' The spell mention was the Patronus Charm, after several unsucessful attempts, the Slytherin became angry. Not at it, but herself. Her trail of thought went away once she heard the words Imperius Curse uttered from the professor lips to Caiden. When the question of resistance was asked, she mumured "Through strength of will..." Her voice was calm, but soft. It was the only Unforgivable Curse she knew, and she knew it well.

As Meiko waited, she noticed a new face in class that seemed to be a Slytherin. She thought as she shrugged. "I just love it when more guys attend this school... aww, he seems to be close to my younger cousin''s age. Oh well~" she sighed, smiling faintly to herself as went back to her attentive position.

As Lena heard someone enter the classroom, followed by an unfamiliar voice, she turned around to see if it was a new student. It was, a Slytherin fourth year. So many students kept joining DADA and she wasn’t surprised for this was a great class, the best. She then looked back at the front of the classroom at Professor Reynold and waited for him to answer Alex’s question, which Lena was very curious to find out. Could someone really learn to resist the Imperius Curse? And how? She’d read a bit about it but had a hard time believing it.

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden grinned sheepishly to the professor. He honestly didn't understand the meaning of having points and what it really meant, but if one of the professors was going to disapprove of his actions, he needed to speak up. Although the first time he lost points was actually his fault, he had a feeling that what he was going to say was true. "Professor 'I am french, Muahaha, I am zee beest at vut I vuu.' doesn't like me. That's not my fault that our personalities don't mesh. But I'll try harder with her, professor." Caiden took his seat and decided not to get on this professors bad side. He looked young, and to be honest, he looked like a cool professor. "Professor, Isn't resisting the Imperius curse very similar to resisting something along the lines of Occlumency? I mean, resisting Occlumency is not allowing others to get into your mind, but it is similar in the sense that you need to have very strong willpower. Not every person can achieve it very quickly, correct?"

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden glanced at the Gryffindor who had just spoke. "Well, mate, to be completely fair, he said nothing about Occlumency (EDIT!) while I was in here. But since you are too busy rolling your eyes at me, maybe you didn't hear exactly what I said. I don't want to be rude, but I was just stating what I knew about the subject, since I learned about it two years ago in the US." Caiden smiled to the girl and decided to leave it at that. He didn't want to make an enemy in his own house, and he really didn't want it to happen in front of his head of house during his class. That wouldn't be the best thing to happen.

Blake watched the exchange between the Gryffindors. Tension in their own house eh? He thought the one defending the guy looked kind of hot. He returned his attention to the Professor hoping he would reply so he could sit down.

Fourth year Gryffindor Good grief, Caiden wasn't having any luck at this school. Sparrow was the only one he had any luck with. "And what is that supposed to mean? The school in the States is just as good as the one is here, if not, it is better in some aspects. Please, do not judge me based on my former schooling. You didn't seem to have knowledge on this subject, saying you had asked questions about it previously. You would aquire that skill through hard work and practice, just like you would with Occlumency." Caiden wasn't too thrilled with Alex, and he had a feeling that their personalities were not going to mix very well as the year continued. If she was going to mock and tease him, he would do the same back. He had no problem defending who he was.
Caiden looked up to the new kid. He was just standing there, and he felt bad, so Caiden waved him over to sit next to him. Hopefully the kid didn't feel offended or think too much of himself to sit next to a Gryffindor. Caiden was up to making a new friend, even if he was in Slytherin.

Blake turned around again hearing more. He couldn't help but allow a tiny smile to appear on his face. He then saw the Gryffindor motioning towards him. He figured why not and he went and say down saying, "Hey I'm Blake."

Fourth year Gryffindor Hoping that Sparrow wouldn't care, Caiden was glad that he invited the Slytherin to sit with him. Caiden put out his hand and said "I'm Caiden. It's nice to meet you. You're in my Charms I believe as well." The guy seemed nice enough, so that must have meant that he was a fairly nice kid, and that not all Slytherins were crazy and deranged. "I know what it's like to be the new kid, believe me."
