bam_margera6 can somebody help me with avatar editing? i mean thats what this guild is about! If 100 people can only make 2 tutorials, then this is the most pathetic guild ive ever seen! Im sorry but if you want more people to join maybe make another tutorial!
i take it uve read through the tutorials we have available so far in this guild? they perfectly cover the basics of what most of us do every single time we make an edit. u claim to know how to work paintshop pro 9... if u can, then u should have no problem following the steps instructed in these tutorials.
also, please keep in mind that the tutorials here were made by the respective editors at their own discretion and on their own time. not everybody here has the ability to convey step-by-step what they go through in making an edit, or the free time to supply one of their own.

bam_margera6 well do u think the simpsons edit will be easy? like of bart or homer? It might be kinda tricky to make them, since the Simpsons is a cartoon style and Gaia is an anime style. Still, I think you could pull it off. 3nodding You might have to change the proportions though. I haven't made an edit in a really long time... sweatdrop

Yes, that's exactly it. I went to a clinic and had the experience injected just under the skin. I gained three dress sizes in two days! This is truly a miracle! *cue painfully cheesey smile*

While I use the same techniques for most of the avatars, I just can't explain some of it. I can't convey how I know that fabric is going to drape, flutter, move in a certan way when it's something that only I can see.

Yeah, Tutorials are hard to make so everyoien can read and understand them. We make them based on our own style and experiance. Me personaly, I fly through and make a shitty rough outline, then fill it in one colour to get a grip of what it will look like at a minimum. Then add some textures, shades, tone and recompisition.
Speakin of which, might get a photoof me soon if I can didge the big hairy Procrastination monster *Shivers*
Yeah Vorty, the idea of use all making a self edit woudl be cool. It could also cut down ont he members. Remember a while back you were cleanin out the member list. Just a thought whee And it would be sweet to see us all at the bottom of the main page. I would have to have my fingers at the back of Shocks head, maybe a big cheesy :big:

Man am I an a** hole confused
I just got the the end of a festive edit i was doin, then I zoomed out to admire it, as you do. Then I relised I made one massive ******** up. I was like 
I thought it would be ok, just gotta go to that layer, but behold, I forgot to make new layers so I wast stuck with it gonk
*File>New. Restarts edit*

its almost never too late to fix an edit
i would reccomend making a new layer and using it to edit out what you didnt want, its easy.
On another note. it is now 6:30 am and i just finished the 1st run of my animation project. It's too big to upload to photobucket so im gonna find somewhere else to host it. I do plan to add a few more frames in some places.

i figure the best we all can do for that is to give some helpful advice when people post their works in the comments & criticism thread 3nodding

Woot woot!
Is adding sound to an animation similar to adding a new frame?
This is not cool, I woke up this morning and I was hungry. I think, "Yeay! Hunger! Let's satiate that!" So I scamper off to make some kick-butt sandwich with eggs and this Irish ecstacy cheese.
My stomach completely fights me with it! I'm over here, "I thought you were hungry-and now your just whining? WTF?!"
And then the stomach kicks me and tells me I'm stupid and I told it that it was stupider and that it should suck up being asleep for a few hours and to stop whimpering.
Well that didn't go over too well...I had to bring in reinforcments. Nothing like some Tum bouncers to rough up a hooligan every now and again.
..It's still spiteful though...I can tell...Do you just like the tropical flavours of those chalk tablets or what, man!?!
Stomach: ...*muted gurgle*...
Pissh...fine, be that way.
*Stomps off*
