I knew this was bigger than I had ever imagined. Frankly, I was a little scared that I was facing this witch. I even wondered if I could even defeat her...
My past incarnation said,
I sighed, 'I'll confess, I'm a little new to this... I mean, I'm all right with dealing with youmas and everything, but this is far bigger than anything I've ever faced...'
My past incarnation said,
I gasped, 'Even Neptune and Pluto?'
My past incarnation nodded,
I nodded in understanding. He was right. Even though I had an innate handling of the glaive, I knew I had faltered in wielding it a couple of times. I knew I wasn't perfect myself... I was myself, and only myself. I reminded myself, 'I'm only human... I'm not as much of a perfectionist... I've made a couple of mistakes myself... Hopefully, this battle won't turn out to be a mistake...'

((Just giving the heads up, I won't be on again until the new year. Have a new years eve party to tend to. Happy New Year guys!))
EternalMoon just watched Pluto and Neptune leave her side. She had gotten the same reaction when she wanted to join up with the Starlight Senshi. Of course, she had been right to do so in the end. Hearing Artemis and remembering what Mamoru had told her, she knew she could trust Sagitta.
Moving quivkly, she came up next to Sagitta and in a low whisper said, "Don't worry about those two. Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus are over protective. It's their job to keep intruders out of the Solar System."

I nodded. I replied, "I've been overprotective over some people in my life too. I'll confess, I'm a little scared, and even though I'm enjoying being a Senshi..." That's when I looked at Hydra and I sighed, "I never thought I'd be facing the leader of an evil empire that wants to destroy the universe and remake it in its vision..." And that's when my eyes narrowed and I became dead serious. I snarled, "However, I will not stand around and let my friends and the people that they care for be harmed any more than they have with Hydra's existance. I've made a promise to a special someone... And I will not fail her again. There's no way I'm ever backing down now."
I thought, 'I know I'm afraid, true, but then again... I don't think anyone but Hercules has faced an ugly 8-headed snake with a vicious temper before... But Hercules didn't let fear control him... Neither should I... They say warriors are tested in a trial by fire... I guess this counts as our trial by fire... This is going to be the toughest fight I've ever been in...'
I gulped but somehow I managed to keep my exterior dead calm.

I stood silently holding my glaive in my hand tightly. I didn't like being by myself. I kept my eyes glued on Hydra. Seeing everyone on one side of this...woman-thing...made me suddenly feel isolated. Almost as if I weren't a part of the Sailor Senshi anymore.

I started to speak with Saturn mentally. I said, "You're not alone, Saturn. You've got the other Senshi, and you've got me. I have faith in me and in the rest of the senshi. We'll get through this. I don't know how, but I have a feeling we'll triumph."

I said nothing in response to Sagitta's comment. How could he possibly know what I was thinking? I looked at him for a moment and then I looked at Hydra and then I looked at the other Senshi.

I replied, to explain my earlier comment. "At least you belong to a team, Saturn. Me? I'm just an ally with a reawakened friend who has yet to know what he's fighting for. In that case, I'm more alone than you. Only one of my comrades has reawakened... But that's it."
I sighed inwardly. 'She has the other senshi to count on...'
My other side replied,
I sighed outwardly, "I don't think the other Senshi and Saturn trust me as much as Sailor Moon trusts me..."

Mars explained what was wrong to her friends. She needed them. She could only hope they'd show up. "EternalMoon, you know I'll always stand beside you, no matter what peril lies ahead!"
"Your question, Sagitta? Oh, yes, I forgot. You see, the universe as is will never be perfect. But I will... remold it, in a way. Think of wet clay; you can always reshape it, but, in order to do that, you must crush the original peice." Hydra could wait no longer.
A dark burst of energy came from her, and she was in her true form. But instead of ugly, as Sagitta had guessed, she was quite an awe inspiring creature; Her dark blue scales glittered like oh so many sapphires, her many eyes like diamonds, and her light underbelly like smooth silk. Yet, she was as tall as a building, and from this beast poored an icy coldness from the heart that no living creature should harbor within its soul.
Daisuke arrived just as Hydra transformed. What the...?
Well, I'm gonna attack her from behind before she suspects me!
Right. He sent out his thoughts to Akira. Akira, I'm back. I'm thinking about attacking her now, in these few seconds of vulnerability. Whadda you say?

I nodded, at once understanding Hydra's intention. I replied, "I see. But as you know, the universe isn't perfect. And who asked you to bring perfection to the universe?"
That's when I got Ram's telekentic message. I replied, to Ram. "This witch is crazy! She's lost all faith in us senshi. Go for it. While we can't make the universe perfect, we can make it a better place for all people to live in... This witch and her goons are threatening our planet with her crazy plan of perfection! We have to stop her!"

EternalMoon balled her hand in a fist as she listened to Hydra go on and on about perfecting their universe. The talk annoyed her and she could fell her annoyance turn into irritation. "Baka! You can never erase the flaws of the universe! Even if you try, they will come back! Our flaws are what make us human! We are perfect the way we are!" she yelled, glaring at the huge snake.

"Who asked me? The ones who gave me this charge are more powerful than you know. More powerful than the both of us combined, Sagitta! They are trapped, an cannot yet awaken. They will no except sloppiness!" Her eyes widened. Clearly, this force was something she feared to disobey. She would not fail them.
"And what force might this be? What gives them right to enforce their own way?" Mars challenged. She was getting impatient. The crazy witch was stepping on her last nerve.
Aries was ready. He was not listening to her babbling; he was preparing for the attack. He took out his sword, and thought what might be best to do to a 15-story-tall snake.
Some sort of attack that surrounds her is probably my best bet. He thought. The others were keeping Hydra plenty busy. All he had to do was knock the domino down.
Well, I know I'm not gonna defeat her on my own! I'm just delivering the surprise attack, the powder keg for this battle. He charged towards the monster, and swung his blade. Bright red flames encircled the beast, which screamed in pain. He was now on the other side, next to Sagitta.
The witch writhe around, and the flames went out. She thumped the ground with her tail, causing a semi-quake. "You will pay for that, Ram!" She hissed.

"We're on our way!" All three girls said at the same time.
"Mercury Crystal Power! Make-up!" Ami called out. A stream of water, that looked like a ribbon, encircled her body and formed her outfit.
"Venus Crystal Power! Make-up!" Minako said at the same time Ami spoke. She whipped a long strand of stars around herself to form her outfit.
Both the senshi then jumped off. The soon arrived where the others were.
"Did we miss anything?" Venus asked. She made a face when she saw Hydra.
(Elsewhere)
"Jupiter Crystal Power! Make-up!" Makoto called out. Several electric charges formed an atom like path which encircled her body and then created her senshi uniform. She quickly leapt off her balacony and jumped from roof to roof until she arrived at the shrine.

I smiled as the other three Sailor Senshi arrived. I looked around a tad bit worried. Uranus wasn't here and that made me a bit nervous. I hope she is all right...I watched as Neptune and Pluto returned to my side and the three of us stood close together in a family sort of way.

I pumped my fist in the air, "Aries-kun, good job!"
I looked at the other Senshi. I snarled, "For once, we're in complete and utter agreement, everyone. Just because the universe isn't perfect, that doesn't mean whoever gave you the right to force your vision onto everyone else isn't just! And that's all the more reason for me... For all of us to defy you!"
I looked at Mercury, "I have a plan!"

Mercury looked over at Sagitta and nodded. She jumped from her position and landed next the other boy so she could discuss it with him easier. "What are you thinking of?" she asked.
