"I kinda do. I think?" He answers her. "So where are we now?" He asks her.
"And did you just call me 'hun'?" He says.

She laughed at his demeanor. "Yes I did. When I worked as a Nurse, it made people feel more at ease, and I guess it's rather easy to slip back into old habits." She helped him to sit up and she supported most of his weight while adjusting the pillows and cushions she and Sam had found for him so that he could sit on his own.
"So!" She said after he was resting comfortably. "You broke three ribs, your left arm, dislocated your left shoulder and are bruised all down your left side. Since that side took most of the fall, your right side is relatively fine. You don't seem to be bleeding internally, but you do have multiple lacerations to your body and face. You have several smaller Acid burns, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. We still need to find a way to get those notes to cure you, but all in all, your infection wasn't any worsened by this attack. However, you do have a concussion. So you won't be moving anytime soon." She stated calmly in a warm tone.

"Okay then. I have had experience with injuries of this type now, so at least I get this. Unlike the whole stasis, cure stuff which I'm just gonna leave up to you." He said.
"Did you and Sam retrieve my weapons case?" He asked.

"Yeah, she got it, and my bag." Kayla gestured over to Sams sleeping form in the corner. They both owed her their lives and Sam had proven to be of great help to them both.
Kayla moved to slowly drag the case over to him. Never before had she realized how heavy the thing was.

"I told you it was heavy. I as see you are having a bit of difficulty getting it over here. It weighs about 220-230 pounds." He grins.

Kayla smiled a bit as she dragged the case to him. "Hey, at least I can use my left arm." She grinned like a child who has won some great victory and stuck her tounge out at him. She opened the case and pulled out some food. "I'll try not to burn anything." She said with a laugh as she started a small fire near the window.

"Actually, didn't you originally say that you would let me come along, but I had to cook?" He said with a slight grin.

"Well, yeah," She grinned sheepishly as she tried to open a can of tomatoes. "But You're rather incapacitated at the moment. And I can make a decent Chili. So you get to sit here and hope I don't destroy the food." She replied with an overly innocent grin in his direction.

"Umm" Kayla blushed as she struggled with the can-opener. "I'm sure I can...eventually."
Kayla sighed in frustration as she tried to force it to work. "This is why I ate take out!" She mumbled angrily at the can.

Kayla puts on a little pout as she hands the can to Reaper, making herself look like a little kid had had been chosen last for teams in gym. Instead of watching him open it, she started to rummage through his case looking for other ingredients.
"So, what about our plan?" She asked quietly. "Sam and I can still do most of the work, I filed her in...think you can distract the guy while we do it?"

He pulls out a long combat knife and stabs the lid of the can. He prys it open with his good arm.
"As of right now. I can hardly move, so I don't know. We can wait for a little while and let me get at least enough strength back to at least shoot. Which for me isn't much." He says as he hands her the now opened can.

"Well I wasn't going to let you move today. No matter how badly you wanted to. But, surprisingly, it has only been about twenty-two hours since you were bitten. So we have two days if we go by the original virus' standard inoculation time."
She took the offered can and poured the contents into the pot she had placed above the small fire on a crude, make shift stove. Silently she handed him aanother can with a 'please' look in her eyes and an overly innocent puppy-dog look on her face.

He just shakes his head as he takes the can and pries it open in the same manner. "I do understand that I probably shouldn't be moving. I do have medic training you know. I can tell that my injuries are no to good, besides my right side. Regardless, I have broken a few ribs, according to your diagnosis, so I should not move." He hands her the newly opened can.
