Ookamimaru shook the scythe in an attempt to throw the bird off. When that didn't work, he slammed it on the ground like a hammer -with the blade to the side- to try and crush the crow under it.

The bird was flattened, and didn't explode, small droplets of the acid leaked out of it's crushed body, but it remained motionless. After all was said and done it seemed the main body wasn't much tougher then an average bird.
The two remaining birds flew away, either to observe from afar, or retreat entirely. It would seem Ooka was and the Kaze dojo were being left alone

Immediately after the birds had dissapeared in the darkness, Ookamimaru rubbed the acid off his scythe with sand and leaves to prevent it from dissolving. Somehow he knew that acid and bone weren't the best combination.
He looked at the remains of the two dead birds. Even with his human senses he could smell that he didn't kill these birds, because they had died a long time ago.
Not knowing wether to go inside and panic some more or going to investigate he sat on the ground before the birds and started poking the flat one with a stick.

It would take some time before Lina showed up at the Kaze dojo, looking slightly worse for wear due to several small cuts and burns both to her person and to her attire. She blinked at seeing Ooka, confusion evident on her face as she tried to place just who he was.
Though she seemed more interested in the fact that the dojo was left standing. Glancing at the bird contained in her hand before looking for the signs of the larger groups that had attacked the Rai dojo.

Ookamimaru stopped poking the bird when he heard footsteps behind him. He jolted up with his scythe in his hands, expecting some new thread. When he saw it was Lina he lowered the scythe and smiled. "Lina!" He called while running towards her. "Happy you here! You know how happen?" He turned and pointed at the eclipse "Sun gone!” In the excitement of seeing someone familiar, he forgot that Lina might not recognize him immediately. Even his voice, that normally sounded very hoarse and raw, now sounded high and child-like, and even though he still had grammatical issues, he was able to pronounce the words correctly.
When he saw what state Lina was in and that she had a crow with her he asked. "You attack by bird? Me too!" and he pointed at the remains of the two creatures. Of course he had no idea of what these birds where normally capable of.

She glanced at him, thinking for a while. "Yeah, lots of birds attacked me" she glanced at the deceased crows, blinking at the fact that the remains were so intact, before shocking the one she had contained once more.
"I'm glad to see things fared better here" she said, nodding, finally realizing who she was talking to as she recognized the speech pattern among other signs.

"Lots?" He should have know from the moment he saw Lina. The cuts and burns, to cause that on Lina there must have been... lots of them.
He pointed at the captured crow. "What is?" He asked plaintively. "What happen?" The dispair was now clarly viewable on his face as he looked at his surroundings and at the eclipse. He felt helpless without Tobu.

"Lots" she nodded, rubbing the side of her head with her free hand.
She lifted the bird in her hand, glancing at it once more, before lowering the light level of her barrier. "I don't know what it is yet... I'm still working it out" She glanced at the bird closely, feeling to the small piece of jewelry around one of her horns, tapping it before remembering just how useless the little terminal was right now. After all she was not only cut off from her lab and everything in her stuff-space... not to mention the mistake of letting the Rai dojo be destroyed when it housed the only terminal outside her lab.
She shook her head "The Rai dojo's gone, what little I gathered before it was taken out is that these things are destroying the GNA" She shook her head. "But I can't tell why, they have some reason, but whatever it is I don't have enough information to even guess just yet." she didn't know if Ooka would grasp what she was saying even, but honestly sometimes she just needed to 'flap her yap' before anything of use would come out of her mind.
"I just need to know more" she shook her head, before blinking and with a shrug she tossed her hand into the Air, a light sphere forming in her hand before flying into the Air. It was a waste of energy, but the bright flash might serve as a signal flare to anyone still alive... and unfortunately those birds if they were looking a darker part of her subconscious pointed out.

"Gone" Ookamimaru said to himself in disbelief. How could all this happen?
He sat down at the entrance of the dojo, holding his scythe against his chest. While staring at the flare dying in the sky, he hoped Ren and the others would be fine, and that only the Rai dojo was destroyed. Though even his human instincts were enough to sense otherwise.
He made himself little and buried his face in between his arms.

Lina sighed and nodded. Sitting down and glancing up at the sky. She might have been able to risk getting her supplies before totality, but now as it was she had no access point, and no method of even signaling those on the other side.
"Something will work out in the end Ooka... No matter what it always does..."

"could, but what costs?" Ookamimaru mumbled with his face still burried.
"Afraid in dark with these eyes," He said agitated while looking at Lina "nearly blind" he added, demonstrating it by waving a hand in front of his eyes before burying his face again.

Ren landed on the ground from a tree branch as he came out into the clearing. He could see two chakra signatures dead ahead with his optical bloodline still activated.
Ren ran over to Lina and Ookamimaru. He was catching his breath as he started to examine the two. Ookamimaru's chakra paths looked foreign to Ren, and the same went for his outer appearance. The scythe was what identified him.
"Ookamimaru what happened to you?"
He then looked over to Lina and saw she was borderline battle damaged, "Those birds went after you too?"

"Already more then I'd expect" Lina tilted her head, rubbing one of her draconic horns "Dragons don't exactly have the best night vision either"
She turned her attention to Ren as he spoke up. "Yeah, they went after me after I took a few of them out. I don't know if they wanted me or the Dojo in the end, though the dojo's still gone." She glanced at the Kaze dojo, considering something for a few moments as she glanced back up at the darkened sky. "Guess we won't have much power to spare for a while."

"Ren!" Ookamimaru jolted up when he saw him "You live!" He said with a high-pitched voice and a huge smile on his face.
"new moon, Tobu gone" he explained shortly, as if it was the most obvious thing.
Wich gave him the worst idea. If the sun never returned, it would be new moon forever, and he might never see Tobu again. The thought alone made him shiver.
"Only four crows here, not lots" He added at Linas report.

Ren forced a smile back, still upset with the fact that he couldn't defend the Ho Dojo successfully.
"Ohh.. wait, just four? A lot of them aimed to destroy the Ho dojo. I couldn't do anything, they were like flying bombs. Their chakra paths were empty; something else filled it's place. I don't know what it was, but those birds were already dead I think."
He looked over to the Mizu dojo's direction before adding, "The rest had moved on to the Mizu dojo.
Did you guys see anyone else yet?"
