The doctor could barely keep himself upright, clinging to Tsuzuki as best he could.
"You're going to end our lives selfishly." Muraki whispered, leaning against the shinigami for support.
Even in this time... this place... where death was tearing at the man's very body and soul... he still felt peace being so near Tsuzuki.

"Wakatta yo..." Muraki whispered, yawning slightly. "Wake me... wake me when it's almost time... ne?"

" I'm making breakfast if you want some." he said starting to leave the room, but stopped at the door waiting for Tsuzuki answer.

"I've never been good at being unselfish, I suppose..." He simply slides his arms around Muraki, whispering the rest of the spell to bring Touda against the doctor's ear.

"I'd love some." He flushes a little as he slips out of bed, grabbing his boxers and pants, sliding into them too. "Thank you..."

Muraki knew he was going to die.
He would die in his angel's arms... and there was nothing that could stop it.
"You're a cruel man... Tsuzuki-san..." the doctor whispered, continuing to cling to consciousness, and to the shinigami.
Even as flames erupted around them both.

Nodding... the teen fell into a deep, sleep-deprived, rest.

"Ah.." He pauses right before pulling on his pants, flushing. Just.. setting them aside after a moment and going out to join him, getting some tea.

"Then we make a perfect match, sensei." Quietly, giving Touda the order to burn everything, no hesitation in his voice. Closing his eyes and inaling deeply of the air, though it burns his lungs.
----
Oriya napped a little, but spent most of the time awake, watching him.

" Are you embarassed about me seeing you naked or what?" he asked as he started cooking a simple breakfast of scrammbled eggs and rice.

"And..." Muraki coughed blood up again, feeling his very life slipping away. "does this match transcend even into the depths of hell itself?" he whispered.

When Muraki woke, it was nearly time for him to leave.
"Oriya-kun?" he whispered, wondering if his friend were awake.

"Hm?" He looks up, smiling and shrugging a little. "It's not that exactly.. it's just unusual, I guess. I'm not used to being with anyone, anymore."

Falling back to the cold concrete, Muraki looked up at Tsuzuki with a smirk. "I won't die... not until the end..."
He wasn't about to give up his life, only to realize in the next that Tsuzuki hadn't died either.

Kneeling beside him, he smiles softly, nodding. "You won't escape. Neither will I." He stands, starting to walk towards the flames.

"We should be leaving in about a half hour..."

He laughs a little, resting his chin in his hand. "Not such a bad place to be, really."

"Tsuzuki-san..." Muraki whispered, watching the shinigami go.
He could feel the heat on his skin, flames licking his body in a rash heat that burned him to his very core.
But perhaps what hurt most of all...
Was the knowledge that his goal... his prize... was gone...

Sighing, Muraki sat up. "I suppose I can't wear yukata to the doctor's, ne?" he asked with a smile.
