((And now for my retort!))Coast Near the Ship
Balthezar stopped what he was doing when the shot rang out and he could feel the laser skim his back. He turned calmly and aimed at the shooter. He let off a near perfect shot and knew that if the shooter didn't do something quick that one of the rockets would be hit. He assumed that the person would rise in order to dodge, it move to one of the directions and let off four more shots around the means of propulsion in each of the possible directions. As for the retaliatory strike that was sure to come: he started to weave drunkenly towards the shooter while he yelled "You think you can stop me? More advanced things have fought me and I have killed them all. Power yourself down or I will have to shoot to harm instead of disable."
His erratic pattern allowed him to outsmart the new fangled "Aiming System" these things seemed to have. The worst that he had encountered before are a few singes and he expected that his demand would be followed. Just in case he reloaded his gun and aimed at the thing that shot at him.
((Lawl, Shooting in 5 spots at a near instantaneous speed. Not even an Agent from The Matrix could dodge that speed.))

Nias Shore
The ship had now drifted into the shallow water.
Heme took Keith down to his room for better treatment area. away from all the chaos. He acted with swift persistence using mainly liquids and bandages to start the healing process.
Zira watched in silence as the new girl descended from the clouds and fired a waring shot at the man on the shore. She watched intently and listened to what the others on the ship were saying. Curiosity overcame part of her better judgment and as the ship brushed the sand she sent her black, energy eagle out.
It glided like a dark shadow down the shore line to where the action was taking place in time to hear her order the dropping of his weapon. The dark eagle glided about at a distance.
Faven flinched hearing the laser fire. The flash of light let him know immediately where the conflict was happening. He observed groggily for a moment before trying to focus on someone closer. "What's going on?" He asked putting a hand to his head to keep from feeling to dizzy.
Vure heard the laser and instantly perked up. He quickly stood and looked out the port hole. He knew they where in the shallows now and the sight of the two unknown people down the shore a ways wasn't exactly comforting. He wondered if the laser firer was from Nias and was here to round up foreign experiments. Frowning he returned to Kire's slumbering side.
Sinrith looked up briefly as Vure stood, his thoughts being interrupted. Not really caring at the moment what was happening he returned his gaze to Zeik and continued thinking.

Aeron's mechanics whirred as she dodged the first shot, inevitably being hit by the second barrage of shots that echoed off of her exoskeleton, leaving small dents and singe marks of the few that she let hit. As the man started to erradicatlly move in a strange pattern, the lock calculated an average trajectory, her shoulders lifting to reveal two large laser cannons as the man moved closer.
Threat: Medium
Course of Action: Disable
"You are a danger to the civic order of the area, under the command of the Quari republic and lord Ozen, I order you to stand down!" Raising her arm, her fingers suddenly opened up, firing a precise set of dart tipped containers that littered the area in front of him, sticking into the ground before suddenly:
-BANG-
A series of flash-bangs rang throughout the area, blanketing the area in white. The other quarter of the containers suddenly opened, releasing a strong sleeping gas.
"Do not kill unless ordered to, protect the welfare of the people, and gather any and all information on the rivaling regions, those are your orders."
The words echoed through her mind as she lowered her arm, waiting for the gas to clear to confirm her target's condition as her eyes scanned for any sort of energy or movement. In her sensors, she detected another source of movement from above, but ignored it, her top priority being to secure the situation, and handle the miscreant.

Balthezar started to hum as the shots dented the armor. He thought "An upgrade. How nice." when the thing still flew. When the canisters were ejected onto the group he grinned and ran right into the trap as he held his breath. In the middle of the gas he left off twelve more shots in the same spot as the dent. Considering that the bullets normally ripped a normal human's head clean off and left holes in concrete, he could naturally assume that 13 shots at the same location would puncture the armor. He also knew that the enemy was distracted and that the last thing that was expected was more shots instead of simply falling asleep. He ran out of the gas and let in a gasp of fresh air before he reloaded his pistols. He yelled "I have no intent on destroying you. If I did, you would have been killed where I was standing just a moment ago. Now, do as I say and cease fire!"

... They're Flash - Bangs. And you stated in your post that you ran right into it. Your character would be in pretty bad shape.
From Wiki ^^
A stun grenade is a nonlethal weapon, similar in many respects to a true grenade. It is also called a flashbang grenade, thunderflash, a bang grenade, or a Flash and Noise Diversionary Device (FNDD).
The flash of light momentarily activates all photosensitive cells in the retina, making vision impossible for approximately five seconds until the eye restores the retina to its original, unstimulated state. Subjects affected by flashbangs describe seeing a single frame for the five seconds (as if their vision was "paused") until it fades and normal sight returns
Stun grenades are used to confuse, disorient, or distract a potential threat
Cool stuffs. Basically, he wouldn't be able to just continue firing, nor would he be moving very well. This is of course in relation to the fact that your character "ran right in to the trap."

((Yes, but your traps are based on senses. I could have ran in with my eyes closed and breath held, which would make them quite useless. Or I could have shot my shots before said Trap, which would have done what one shot probably could have done. Or I can wait a second and then shoot your sensors full of bullets. Or I can do what my character is based off of does sometimes and trust my hands to do the aiming. Moral of the story is you'll probably get shot multiple times in such a way that one of your rockets will no longer work.))

(( But in the post, you didn't recognize the flash bang, and I highly doubt he would have ran in, eyes closed. Your character's powers are limited to super aiming and gun control, not premonitions and super senses, not to mention that holding your breath only lasts as long as you can do that, the gas doesn't just go away. Secondly, the chances of my character sitting and taking each shot is minimal, yes i can recognize getting hit, but by each shot? Unless your gun can fire thirteen shots at the same time, it's not going to happen.
If you'd like, we can continue discussing this amongst ourselves or wait for the thread leader to referee, I'd rather not cause trouble, plus, that way we can have an external source moderating the discussion.))

((Or I can go back and edit my post so that I do get temporarily slowed down and instead do the same spread type shot. Then continue on my jagged run and keep shooting at you until your rocket finally gives out.))
