Moé actually read over his shoulder with interest; evident from her quick work of copying that one tome, she was as fast a reader as he was.
At a certain point he read faster than she did, and Moé fought up the courage to ask.
"W-Would you please go back one page? For... only a second? Please?"

The next morning Rikku woke up. "I am almost late!" She yelled jumping out of bed and getting dressed, as she ran the dark arts classroom, and knocked on the door, "I hope I am not late...." SHe said to herself waiting for him to answer.

Instead of Azrael answering the door, Chryseis answered it.

Moé had woken up early, and had gone to the school cafeteria.
She was busily marvelling at how inexpensive the food was, and her lack of food the entire week made it all the better.
The cafeteria lady had been kind to her, presumably since Moé's hunger showed like a red flag.

She moved out off the way so Rikku could come inside.
"I had no idea that he was here before me."

Moé had finished her fifth round of omelette, and then contentedly walked with a cup of coffee through the courtyard.
She threw away the cup a couple of minutes later.
"Ungh."
She had received a papercut.
A shadow loomed over her, and she looked up to see Salem.
Moé pouted.
"If it isn't the newlywed nerd."
"What?!"
"Still don't think you deserved Chryseis."
"I'll just pretend you didn't say that."
[[Chryseis is Valentine's cousin, and since Moé is Valentine's kid, that makes them cousins-once-removed. Moé views Chryseis as her substitute mother, though.]]

Daniel sighed, walking into the main building. He looked around for signs of any life, he went to the Dark Arts room. He noticed Rikku and another woman there, " Is the dark arts class starting? " He looked at the other woman there, " I haven't met you hear yet, are you a teacher? "

She gestured to inside.
"Please take your seats. Heheh."

Chryseis took out a small photograph. It was an adult, more filled out Lycoris, except she was wearing a miniskirt-length regal-looking kimono, and lacy black hosiery.
"This is my Mom. This photo was taken a few centuries ago, but she looks the same. She said she knew you a little over five centuries ago."
