Why were you France anyway, we all know that Redcoats are the way to go! Remember Waterloo!

I have three months of Gold, which I won't crack until something special happens.
I also have the tower defence game "Toy Soldiers" which is oddly addicting.

My GOD.
I don't know if Flashpoint: Dragon Rising has been mentioned on this board yet? But I got it a couple of days ago and already realised it was quite unresponsive.
But about half an hour ago when I'm stood behind a rocky outcrop telling my team to put some suppressive fire on the AT gunners whilst changing back to my rifle from grenade and a guy comes out in front of me, and I'm there JAMMING the analogue stick, knowing that if I can just get to ground behind these rocks I'll be okay at least untill the old fogey finally gets his gun out, and I'm shouting ' scream GET TO GROUND. JESUS. GET TO GROUND YOU STUPID FU-'
Restart from last checkpoint?
I spazzed out like a spoiled kid and and gave my Xbox the Vs.
I am not impressed with this game. stare

OPFP is known for being an unplayable mess. All games have been like that, that's what you get for putting too much realism into a game.

Aye. Ironic, huh. Trying to make it realistic makes it unrealistically slow.

Amongst other things, yes. The thing is that it has always been an unstable mess and too rushed by the devs, whoever did this one now. Plus putting it on a console of all things makes it even worse, especially when a lot is going or at the random moments when something happens and makes everything go awry.

Agreed. The game would have been just as responsive making for voice commands, and we all know how badly they can turn out.

On another note, I'm looking forward to Metro 2033. The details could put it aside from other action shooters.
Space Marine strikes me as just another platform with some RPG elements thrown in, so I think I'll be waiting for that to drop in price.

Metro 2033 is shaping up as the game that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was supposed to be.
Okay, that sounded odd.
I'll be looking forward to Metro though, I'm even tracking down an English translation of the novel.

Same, actually. I was hoping to read it before the game was released. Take it you've had no luck?

It can be ordered, but it will take between 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. emo

Indeed, though chances of me playing it on the day of release are slim, seeing as Chaos Rising is released well before that.

Oh yeah. That. I lost interest in Dawn of War when it became more sophisticated than my poor old PC could handle.
