Please don't be mad! Atari cried out, pressing his hands harder so that he closed his ears best he could, wincing as he half expected, in the fashion of his uncle, a high volume verbal talking to about remembering things.

"I'm not mad!" Escarelia said, trying to hide her chuckle. "I mean they're just bugs. There's plenty more where those came!" She reached her hands over, resting them on his shoulders. "Don't worry!"

Atari looked to Esca a long moment, examining her to make sure she was being honest before he nodded and offered a laugh. Yes, we can catch more later, huh?

Escarelia gave a hearty nod, smiling. "That's right! Bugs are everywhere! And next time, we'll make sure there isn't a snake or anything, allright?"

Alright! Atari echoed, hugging Esca close a moment. Do you wanna go in another direction to look for buggies to take home? he asked as he released her, glancing across the lake.

Hmm...We can go this way! Atari chimed, gesturing near the direction they'd gone before, but this way it didn't seem to get so thick with trees. We might not find lightening bugs in the middle of the afternoon, but we can find those at my house tonight, if you wanna come over! he offered, smiling brightly to Esca.

"Allrighty!" Escarelia smiled and nodded. "And if nothing comes up, sure!" She thought a moment, pondering if she did, weather or not she should bake some cookies. It was her idea of an exchange, a 'thank you' sort of thing. She was odd like that.

Great! Atari purred, hugging tight Esca a moment before he let her go again, eagerly leading her towards where he'd gestured before, his heavy boots crunching in the light layer of leaves that started to fall with the change of weather.

Escarelia took a few tiny steps to crunch in the leaves with a small laugh, looking over at Atari. "Do you like fall?" She asked out of the blue, tilting her head.

Actually, this is the first fall I get to have. Atari told Esca, blushing under his tone. I was only created earlier this year. Only a few months before I came here! He told her, offering a coy smile. If it's noisy like this all the time, I might not like it. he whispered after a moment, the leaves crunching beneath his boots somewhat confusing him.

"Earlier...this year?" She blinked, trying to hide her somewhat confused expression. "But...You look like a teenager. Or a young adult...Some sort of magic I'm guessing?" She gave a small smile.
