Claire laughed and stood up slowly. She moved Leslie slightly in her arms so she would be comfortable. She looked towards the small gathering of people and smiled abit. People..she hadn't talked to many people since they were on the island.

Sayid and Shannon lay in companionable silence for a few minutes, he'd given up on trying to leave just yet and gently tucked a blond strand of hair behind Shannon's ear. "Morning..." He smiled down at her. "Did you sleep well..."

"I slept okay." She replied with a yawn as she turned over on her side to face him. He looked so content, staring down at her, with his dark eyes and enviable lashes. He was focused on her, something she very much liked and something she didn't want to disturb but the smell of cooking fish wafted gently through the shelter's open entrance and she felt the soon-to-be familiar feeling of nausea stir. He must have noticed because he cupped her chin with his calloused fingers.

"Are you still ill?" He asked, concern creasing his brow. Shannon started to shake her head but stopped. The motion was dizzying.

"I...I need to tell you something." She muttered and pushed herself up into a make-shift sitting position. Sayid's look of concern deepened.

"Did you speak with Jack?"

"Yeah...Look. I told you about me and Boone...about what happened before we got on the plane." She spoke quietly. He nodded, unsure of where this was leading. "That was four weeks ago-the crash I mean. I started feeling sick a few days ago, and I realized that...that I was late-actually I realized it earlier." She looked at him from beneath lowered lids. "And I thought maybe it was because of what happened and where we were...and then I thought it had something to do with being bulimic...even though I've been eating and everything since we've been here..." She was drawing it out and she knew it. "And then it got worse...like yesterday and I did talk to Jack...and he narrowed down the possibilities...There was a pregnancy test in someone's luggage. I tested positive Sayid. I'm pregnant...and Boone is the father. I was safe with Brian...but the one night with Boone before the plane...I wasn't. I was drunk...but the important thing is that I'm pregnant." She said the part about Boone very quickly and waited, trembling for his reaction.

A few minutes had passed and Jack still hadn't replied. Sun's mind jumped to conclusions and she could only believe the worst case scenario. Jack hated her after what had happened the previous night. Sun allowed a few stray tears to roll down her cheeks as she gazed into the warm pool of water, umarred by human error...

(nooo! then i'm left all alone. sad ah, well. i guess now i'm free to bother Sawyer all i want. xd )

Kate wakes up from her nap and looks around. She gets her waterbottle and starts refilling it by the pond. She then puts it in her backpack and stands up and starts walking towards the beach. I wonder what Sawyer is up to.

When Kate reached the beach, she changed her mind about seeing Sawyer and went up to Claire and Boone instead. "Hey, you guys. So what are you all up to?"

Kate smiled and said, "Sure. Why not. I am kind of hungry." She starts walking with Claire towards the fire.

Kate sat down by the fire and said, "I've been around here and there." She turns from Claire and looks at the fish cooking over the fire.
