Felina smiled squeezing Oassu's hand sensing the disappointment "Hey don't feel down, we'll get more private time when not at the party and then you and me can do some far more fun activities" she whispered rubbing his shoulder "Not so much now but in olden times hunting was everything and all the things associated with it and beliefs sort have got passed down with tradition. Elves from other environments however have their own different ones... like the desert elves from what I gather value scavenging is a more important skill to have" she explained.
Satoshi shook her head "Nope when you get to a certain age you get tested in things like fitness and intelligence and if you do so well they take you into a ninja academy and then if you do well there its straight into being a ninja. Everyone who fails ends up with all the other jobs which some might call lucky" she sighed looking away from Hebal whos spinning was making her feel dizzy. "Theres no hurry to get an item enchanted so you have pleanty time to practice what you can do. But personally, I think you need good items and good skills together since one of those things alone can only get you so far"

Oassu smiled "I guess so still have fun even with no party" he said stretching as they left the cafe "Still I guess it all makes sense in the end you'd probably be a good huntress I've seen how good you are with that bow" he said taking Felina's hand
Zadina nodded "I'm sure your right thats why Sir Gilgamesh is so awesome!" he said looking up at the arch "So lets go see whats inside the big technology place!" he said skipping happily.
Itaka nodded paying some gil for a pineapple from a stall they passed "If you see anything you'd like to eat just let me know" he said dropping the fruit into a bag "I doubt I'll care, more likely to join a community of old awesome veterans or adventure for ages like Alpha" he said looking out for other tasty treats

Seph yawned raising Itaka's finger and pointed it into the direction of one of the sweet stalls "I want sugar and lots of it to start off with" he told him letting go of his hand "Got a long way to go before anyone considers you a veteran since nobody would guess how old you really are unlike myself. Though if there are groups like that I certainly haven't heared much about them and probably wouldn't be all that popular if it included some of the older races like elves who would have been fighting demons"
Hebal paused scratching her chin "Maybe not the whole reason hes so awesome is because of his armour since he is pretty skilled with 6 swords but I bet that helps a great deal" she concluded skipping after Zadina and dragging Satoshi behind her "You should let me go to the ninja village and I will stop their mean little system somehow because that sounds totally unfair ninja life

Felina hesitated as she shut the cafe door behind then "Well I suppose I'm good enough with a bow but apparently I would make a terrible huntress according to the feedback I always receive. Hayate says im too noisy and alert all the nearby creatures where as other people have said I am not patient enough when it comes to firing at them" she muttered a little embarrassed.
Satoshi gulped sensing before hand that Hebal was going to pull her along "Well unfortunately Hebal they need to keep the numbers up considering we have one of the smallest numbers of ninjas out of all the main villages in the country. But don't worry about my local laws and customs and enjoy the technology all around you. Might find those robot pets for you... though nothing like that please" she laughed pointing to a giant metal dragon sculpture hanging down from the ceiling.

Oassu chuckled "Well nevermind it's not like you need to spend time hunting for survival anyway your skills certainly work on everything else you know" he said stretching "And your a fine white mage too, no need to worry you are brilliant" he said happily.
Zadina frowned looking at the giant dragon "It scares me thinking that they have access to such magnificient creatures" he said wondering if the moogles had a working model of it "Still they have all this impressive technology" he said admiring a small duck contraption that would dip into a pool of water before rising again.
Itaka smiled ushering Chobi in that direction "You have hands of your own you know" he said "Still would be alright ourselves sure we'd have fun even in retirement" he said wondering what to buy from the sweet shop "Been a while since I've been to a sweet shop" he said

Seph frowned ignoring the snickering from a couple of gria thinking them to be an unusual sight at a sweet shop "Really? When was the last time you went since you can never get too old for sweets. When retired I insist that we do at least one cool activity every week be it a chocobo race or hitting the town. Dont want to be one of those old boring sitting down in a chair all day types"
Hebal gasped and let out a low whistle as she admired the ceiling ornament "Wow now that would be an awesome mode of transport if ecpensive and way cooler than the airship" she giggled almost overwhelmed by all the mechanical objects all around her "Well now we are actually here I don't have the faintest idea where to start except for not going to the airship sales bit"

Satoshi smirked watching her friends reactions "I take it that this is the first time you've been to something like this? Too bad though I would suggest looking towards the area labelled small robots. Though whats to say that the big dragon thing up there isnt a working model? Could be turned off" she pointed out lowering her model airship closer to her head since there was less room.
Felina grinned leaning over and kissing Oassu's cheek "And you with your ninja skills are brilliant too and would probably make a better hunter than me in termsof being quiet. But its true I have onlt ever had to hunt for survival once in the past 500+ years and in the end I just did some fishing instead to save the energy. It was the angel guardian of dads who I told you about that taught me to fish"

Zadina frowned on edge due to Satoshi's comment, moving away from the dragon he examined a relatively harmless gadget used to make toast "Hmm there's so many strange things I've not seen before here but moogle technology certainly is quite fun" he said making his own airship take quiet flight again.
Oassu smiled "Well that's certainly a good survival skill but it's not like we need to do that for survival much anymore in most places. Generally companies are set up to produce food on farms and stuff so you don't need to worry" he said.
Itaka thought back "Not since I was 10 actually I think, just didn't see the need to, not got that much of a sweet tooth" he said shrugging "And sure though I doubt we'll do just one cool thing a weak" he chuckled finding it hard to imagine an old granny Seph.

Seph smirked helping herself to a scoop for the pick and mix section "Well in that case we will just have to make our own fun at that age if theres no activities about like making our own personal chocobo race course or just a nice trip exploring/adventuring since old age will be boring otherwise" she told him scooping up a variety of colourful treats "You don't know what you're missing out on by not eating sweets... I'll just have to make sure you learn to appreciate them"
Hebal grinned moving slightly closer to the dragon in search of a switch underneith it "Well thats funny as I cant see a turning on button on it. "I've seen a few of these items on my travels but nowhere near as many as Satoshi it would seem and couldn't tell you what they all did" she said leaning forward and pushing a small button located on a stuffed moogle doll for sale but jumped back in surprise as it began to sing. "Umm... that was unexpected, lets just move on to the small robot bit" she noticed as many heads turned towards her curious as to who was making the noise.

Felina scratched her head not entirely sure "Umm ok if you say so but farms always that frequent in the more uninhabited areas. Still it always was a bit of a funny image to me, a big impressive looking angel in fishing gear by a river. Anyway if things got desperate, I could at a push use my white magic to grow some food but its a lot harder to do with white magic than it is time magic and isn't as effective" she pondered remembering reading a spell like that once in a text book.
Satoshi laughed at Hebal's reaction and moved back to press the off button on the singing moogle she had activated "Heh I wouldn't advise playing too much with anything until you know what it does with weird little devices like this though what the point of it is I do not know. Unfortunately the moogles might not like you touching so much either if its expensive" she warned.

Oassu shrugged "I don't much like the thought of eating magically enhanced vegetables anyway but the farms just ship the food elsewhere in the world, least that's how it works in Agralia" he shrugged.
Itaka chuckled "I doubt anything could be boring with you but don't worry I'm fine, it's kept my teeth in good shape over the years so I'm not complaining" he said hopping down from Chobi "We'll be fine in old age don't you worry!" he said picking up a small chocolate bar to keep Seph appeased.
Zadina frowned "Be careful Miss Hebal some of these gadgets might be dangerous" he said noticing a locked glass cabinet behind the counter with minuscule cannons and a few rather fatal looking gadgets in it "Technology really isn't my thing but we should tell Cap'n Alpha or Mr Barbaros about this place I bet they'd love it" he said

Hebal giggled quietly and pulled a face at the moogle gadget once she was sure that it wasn't going to start singing again "Yeah I know but I bet the dangerous stuff is kept more out of reach of the passers by. Bet Alpha and Barbaros already know about this place if he's rebuilding bits of the airship though but if not they will be kicking themselves for not exploring much"
Seph gave a slow nod of approval seeing Itaka had picked up at least one chocolate bar "It doesn't matter what you eat too much so long as you brush your teeth afterwards for I would like to think that I've kept my fangs in very good condition. Certainly won't be needing false teeth when old which is a bonus for retirement" she added scooping up more sweets until she believed the bag wouldn't be able to hold anymore without ripping open.

Felina scratched her head a little surprised "What if incredibly hungry though? Theres really no difference in taste with the magically enhanced food you know and its usually better for you in small doses. Its the same for elves only since some places are so remote its sometimes difficult to send assistance to some of the smaller places after bad harvests and the like. Elves are more likely to grow fruit than crops and veg anyway"
Satoshi snickered away grabbing her friends and pulling them through the rows away from the weaponry section for fear they might end up damaging something "No harm in letting them know next time you see them. None of us are exactly the experts of the group when it comes to technology but I don't think I'm the worst either" she shrugged following the trail of a small mehcanical beetle scurrying across the floor "Alpha probably hasn't had any time thinking about it because of the supervision required with the decoraters/builders"

Oassu shrugged "I guess so but I came from a farming community, stuff like magic veg would put people out of business. It wasn't uncommon to hear people mutter that magic veg would poison you or put a witches hex on you" he said moving off in no direction in particular.
Zadina frowned spying the beetle wondering why anyone would want to make such a creature "He only has one day to get here anyway so it shouldn't matter so much I imagine we'll be leaving soon enough tomorrow" he said taking interest in a device that supposedly held and turned a book's pages automatically.
Itaka grinned "Ok ok but who knows Demon's fangs evolved for tearing flesh and stuff so I doubt humans teeth are just as durable" he said "And you know its not a set price for one bag right? They'll charge you for the weight of it" he said spying Seph's almost bursting swag.

Seph tutted laying her sweets down on the unoccupied scales for weighing "Oh I knew that silly, been to more of these than you but the weight to gil ratio is a very good deal so why not take advantage of it" she shrugged poking her teeth "These things can erode just as easily as human teeth you know, sugar can still be bad. And not all demons eat meat, some are vegans and only eat plants because they don't realise how awesome proper food is"
Hebal raised her eyebrow and moved down to a crawl as she stalked the beetle her friends were indicating to "Well this little thing is weird... wonder what its meant to do" she muttered poking the device with her finger but frowned seeing the beetle scurry away from her to its stall "Aww how mean I don't think it likes me! Maybe we should bring one to Alpha as a dragon festival gift depending on price"
