Taking the last sip from the mug, Janani gives another look around the room. It can be so lonely here. She's yet to figure out exactly why this place seemed to bring her here when there was nothing to do...nobody to talk to. She heaves a sigh as she gets up, reaching for the liquor once more...but the mug she was drinking from falls upon the bar, too thick to shatter, as she fades out.

*Tavin walks in from the Rec Room, a slice of pizza in hand. He looks quickly about and then heads towards the bar*

*Tavin rifles under the bar for a few moments, and pulls out a tall slender glass.He heads to a table on the other side of the bar and by the time he sits down, the glass is filled with milk. He closes his eyes and takes a long sip, then lets out a sigh*
Well.... At least its nice and quiet

::Sato materializes across the room from Tavin. She takes only a moment to look at him, then makes a beeline to the bar, working the clasp to her helmet::

A gentle plop, sounding much like a plushie, is the only indication that Janani has faded in. It appears that her CatPlushie was in midair when she appeared, and she looks to be deep into a book. The book appears to be a history of a certain Celestial race. It could be hers, but she also appears to be having a slightly difficult time reading it. There are notes and scribble marks, apparently her handwriting... She hasn't even noticed the change in scenery...or lighting...or much of anything.
((EDIT: O_o; There are others on?!))

It's not that Janani didn't want to talk with anybody, it's just that she's so absorbed in what she's doing that she doesn't even notice Tavin, whom she's never met, or Sato...until she hears the woman's...usual violent behaviour. Janani's head jerks up from her book, and she finally notices that she's in the Brink. She looks over her shoulder, and, sure enough, her Bind wore off immediately upon entering. WhiteRose is no longer dancing... Sighing, she turns in her chair, making a loud screeching nose, to pick up the Cat Plushie. With a smile, she decides to say her greetins.

Tavin? I've heard that...
Then Janani hears Sato's outburst. Her face flushes a bit, likley due to slight embarassment. She knows the woman's behaviour well enough.
Huh...? She seems more out of sorts than usual...
A moment's stray thought, but Janani is back, eyes wide, after a moment. She wasn't even being proper! Noding towards Tavin, she decides it best to introduce herself.
I'm Janani Waystar Lunaris, Keeper of the Globe of Terrace.
It's a very proper, important title in her Celestial villiage.

Janani looks at Tavin's hand for a moment, but she does take it...even with a bit of embarassment.
Janani's fine... Hehe... I've been well enough.
Janani doesn't know if this Tavin is the Tavin 'in charge' of the Brink. She doesn't exactly know if she should tell him about her brother or her ongoing research on, well, two subjects. If Tavin were to look at the book that accompanied her, he might recognize the Celestial language used...and the related subject matter, Seraphim. Not that Janani has actually translated much of book...let alone correctly. Sato's outburst causes Janani to stare in her direction, if only for a moment.
((In fact, she probably has an over-abundance of mistakes in her translation xd You can blame...Luke and Cora's premadona daugher for her doing any research whatsoever whee ))
