Shoujo Phoenix I like the winter...except when I get sick. Then it sucks. But I like being all cold and stuff. AND I can still surf in the winter too. cool But...SNOW. crying

Makes them all cranky and un-holidayish, more so than usual.

I hate cold, I hate hot. Almost the whole year sucks. And the one part I like, the about-a-week between the un-official summer and fall is starting to not exist.

Kin: Yeah, makes sense. And people get in that holiday rush and have to go X-mas shopping and such. That always puts them in a band mood. I can observe this with my parents. I just stay clear of them during the season. whee

3.14 Kinetic Dream rolleyes No, I mean the cheap-o tires you can get at any tire place that they say are awesome in snow. And the fix up their cars too. It's a mess. See, that's why it is hard to get a nice car when you have to deal with winter. I'd like a rear-wheel drive car...but that would be death in the snow. My boyfriend finally got in pretty car to run--and he can't drive it for another 5 month. Rear-wheel drive + 500 HP = Suicide in the snow. It's kinda funny. The only REALLY good car I've seen in the snow.... was my friend's "car" which was a retired postal service jeep type thing. xd Man, when everyone else's car was either stuck or conked out... he was driving around like it was summer. sweatdrop

I remember last year we got out of school early due to a bomb threat--and my friend Patchy and I went and did donuts in about every parking lot we could find. xd

Well, I also really like Cali cause like...you can go surfing and snowboarding on the same day...and then dune riding or whatever. whee When I was little, me and my brother used to build snow forts by the road and throw snowballs at the snow plows that drove by. (The place where they store them is RIGHT next to my house.) I still own a pair of BRIGHT pink snow pants. Last year after an ice storm, me and my friends drove to the top of a parking garage and took huge baking pans and slid down the 4 story garage. THAT was sooo much fun.

When I used to live in Colorado, my sister and I were obsessed with building snow forts. My dad invested in a snow-blower when I was about 8 or 9 because his back couldn't handle shoveling the whole driveway anymore. So instead of blowing the snow over into the nearby meadow, he would blow it into a pile in our front yard and then help us build snow forts and tunnels and igloos out of it. It was soooo awesome! My mom would always get so mad though, because she was worried that the igloos or tunnels would collapse on top of us. sweatdrop Nevertheless, that is one of my most favourite childhood memories.
I am a child of the snow. =D I used to have this horrible neon pink snowsuit......my parents made me wear it so I would never get lost on the slopes (while skiing) or in the snow anywhere. whee

When I was in the afterschool program, we'd always dig little tunnels in the snow. We only made them go all the way through twice, though.
And I need new snow-clothes.. the only stuff I have now is small and bright purple.

I've never gotten pink snowpants. It was always purple, blue or black.
I remember building snowforts at school,and they'd get trashed in the weekend cause the snowplow would take all the now and push it to one end, so there would be lots of snow. 3nodding Fun times, fun times.

Oh oh oh!
And on the blacktop, all the snow gets pushed to the side that's tilted.. so overnight, all the snow hardens and it turns into this gigantic snow mountain. And every day, after school, the kids run around on it and slide down the sides. But during recess, we all just stand in front of it and stare.
