I've clicked all the eggs and hatchlings since my last post!

I'm hoping the split's a girl this time. It's my third try...

Why am I all of a sudden seeing an explosion of gold eggs and hatchlings? I've been trying to get one for a month (even getting on extremely late/early in the morning) and I can never seem to get one...
