Felina raised her eyebrow curiously "I think its funny how the pair of you assumed the lad to be a mage. Fought with a spear last time I checked, or a lance. Can't remember it's been so long since I saw him fight. If you ask me training a kid to use a weapon is all well and good but they need time to socialise and play and the like, no offence Gil but there must have been times when you felt a little lonely" she guessed picking out some of the lettuice from her plate to give to Cid.

Satoshi hesitated scratching her chin "Well the invitation is there but he doesn't have to come with for he might have somewhere else to be or might want to do a couple of jobs during the season since he hasnt done any in a while. Sounds like a good plan, shame I can't really think of any good places to have loads of fun other than Tricasia which I had a good time in"

Hebal's smile widened, her arms meanwhile flung open and pulled her two friends into a tight hug "Yay sounds loke awesome plans but you must go see Uncle Ellie next year even if you have to drag us with you since it will be your ickle baby cousins first ever festival and Elithana might wanna start a family in that time too" she stated letting them go after what felt like a lot longer of hugging "I highly doubt Gil would pass on the chance to meet your ninja momma and papa as even I know thats the ultimate big step up committment wise in relationships"

Oassu nodded "What's he like personally? Doubt he's a very friendly kid" he said sipping his drink "Probably too angry since he's been training since younger than you Gil" he said.

Gil smiled watching as Enkidu grinned as a big steak was placed down on the table in front of him "I guess he would be, would be interesting to see how talented he is though I wouldn't want him fighting in an army at his age if he were my son" he said.

Zadina giggled returning the hug happily "Yes your right Miss Hebal there will be a big royal celebration and everyone will be invited "Still yes Sir Gil is still to meet your parents I bet they'd be thrilled to meet him" he said

Felina snickered watching Cid dive for Oassu hoping to be provided with a more interesting meal "He's not really an angry kind like what your thinking. More like incredibly serious and based on what I have heared he never plays any games or anything or runs around using his imagination like you would expect boys of his age to do. Not met the parents either but from what Vistei told me, she's second in command of the army after Dysocu, his parents aren't exactly the nicest people you could come across"

Satoshi laughed shaking her head dismissively "I highly doubt my brothers would be particularly intimidating since neither of them are as... bulky as my dad, and one is only like a year younger than Mari and does nothing but whine all day. Personally I would be more intimidated by dad's dog as its a big one thats not overly fond of new people" she added remembering one time when someone got bitten for trying to sneak up on the beast.

Hebal nodded twirling around the party moving slightly forwards with each spin "Yeah unless the dog was like the size of an elephant it has no chance of getting Gil spooked though it shouldn't be taught to be so aggressive since thats mega dangerous to people like us" she tutted skipping around a passing moogle "We could invite your family to the elf party, in fact everyones family and then nobody would be without family" she cheered not giving the potential party hosts much thought.

Gil chuckled "No no of course not, might challenge him to a duel but I wouldn't outright attack him but if his weapon isn't anything special I'm not really that interested" he said.

Oassu pondered for a moment "I hope this doesn't mean you'll fight any of us if we ever acquire a really rare weapon, wouldn't like to go up against you, even if I wasn't bound by rules like in the arena" he said.

Zadina frowned "Isn't that magic quite dangerous and difficult? Provided it's not simply an illusion fixing an enlarged being can be difficult and it's not always advisable. An enlarged being might not get any more resilient to pain though it might hit harder you may just make it a bigger target" he said thinking that the small size of dogs was always one of their advantages.

Felina shuffled a little a little unimpressed by what Gil had said but shrugged it off knowing that he was a weapon collector "Good luck trying to make elves part with their weapons, especially the older more traditional ones. For many believe that ones weapon after so long it becomes like a part of you since most have names and everything" she told him patting her bow with her right hand as she spoke "What do you do if they refuse to fight you then?"

Satoshi laughed gently lowering Hebal's wagging finger "I was only kidding at the thought of resizing her, wouldn't dream of it. But what you'll find is that smaller dogs aren't good for combat roles as they are weaker. But they are better for other jobs like scouting and finding things since they tend to be brighter. Just need to pick which one is more your style at the end of the day."

Hebal smiled giving Satoshi a small nod of approval "Good girl, so no more little plannings even if not serious of resizing though I would have though your dad would have a man dog rather than a lady dog. Can you borrow her next time your home so you can bring her to us to have a look at, oh and whats the doggys name?" she interrogated wishing she could pet the animal.
