Zubat starts out a lot weaker than Spearow. But it gets some useful status moves, most notably Confuse Ray.
And I'm trying to throw together a TRP.

I beat my Rival! I decided to use SmokeScreen until it couldn't go more and switch to my Bellsprout ( never caught the Mareep) so it can use Sleep Powder and hit it with tons of Vine Whips. My togepi is ruling in the Gym right now. Extrasensory is really helpful.

Hmmm. Pokewalker didn't teach my Magikarp Tackle which it should have learned at Lvl 15. Testing now it for Evolution (lvl 15 Abra should evolve at lvl 16). And then I'll go try for level up move changes with a level 23 Poliwag that should learn Bubblebeam at level 25 (will give everstone to stop evolution).
