:busts in: KeNsHiNo5o "The few profiles I've refused were obviously unkillable characters" So we don't have to worry about Superman being in the tournament, right? "or someone whose every attack dishes out megatons of force." I could've sworn I saw a battle where someone like completely blew up the arena and the other guy lost because there actually was no ground left under him...Er, wasn't that megatons of force? And I can't link you, but I think it was in the O/M. Oh, and Clash, I think I read this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it anymore... Players aren't allowed to like "Clone" themselves, are they? Like, creating an NPC that is basically them, just...not? Or am I just hallucinating? To the Superman thing, right. Yeah, a few fights have gotten stupid, desperate exchanges of megatons of force, but no one was complaining and I only refuse the profile if it's like every attack. People are allowed to clone themselves. Might want to PM me first and detail how you're gonna go about it though, just to be safe. Binatica Clash Kiddick Binatica Clash stated that he never actually LOOKED at the profiles. I never made such a statement. Are you kidding, with the s**t I put in some of them? A few of them I even deliberately made as difficult to interpret as possible, filled with jargon and fictionspeak, just to see if you were paying attention. That fat-fat eatbeast s**t and the other crap in all CAPS, and you making their height/weights 'classified'? I just laughed. I read all your profiles and everybody else's, and some of your characters' histories and such I found interesting. It wasn't like they're unacceptable characters. Shouyin =D S'nice to see that people'll still flesh out things through actual IC actions.
Most guilds seem to come out ready to roll, and never really change or evolve. I remember the first thing that actually got me to RP seriously on Gaia, after checking the site out for a few months when friends suggested it, was watching a group of people build a guild from the foundation up. A bad idea, especially if you're starting in somewhere like FFA, but it really appealed to me for some reason and I'd love when my first guild would get destroyed and I'd have to make my character toil for days on end to repair, go to other guilds and get scrap materials, etc., etc. FFA was small back then and you didn't have to worry too much about organized attacks, and if you did get attacked, nobody finished the job. It'd always annoy me when other guilds would just use some magic and rebuild instantly. Side-note to other people: FFA is just gay and so are about all of the people in it, along with those who talk about taking it over. You could at least keep those ambitions to roleplay and quit ruining it.

Wow, my last post on the actual Gaia forums was about 9 months ago. I just got bored enough to check. All those awesome guilds that I was in all died. Blah, that sucks.
Oh, and I don't think it's POSSIBLE to take over FFA. There's too many idiots/n00bs in there who won't allow you to beat them.

Got it, sorry. I need to lock a few others I see.
I'm just gonna lock it and let the match end there for yours, Pei. It's clear you won, so instead of spoiling your ending with a '66 wins the match!', I'll just cut it off there.

Clash Kiddick To the Superman thing, right. Yeah, a few fights have gotten stupid, desperate exchanges of megatons of force, but no one was complaining and I only refuse the profile if it's like every attack. People are allowed to clone themselves. Might want to PM me first and detail how you're gonna go about it though, just to be safe. Actually, I wasn't going to go about it. I personally hate the whole cloning thing/NPC thing. I might fashion a way for my character to have a clone (Or NPC thing), to be used in the case of an enemy cloning themselves. Well, mainly if the enemy is insanely powerful and there's about three of them flying around the arena. "It'd always annoy me when other guilds would just use some magic and rebuild instantly." (I hate using the quote coding for whatever reason.) I personally hate anything that requires someone to explain using "It's Magic!" Er, see Binatic's sig. "Side-note to other people: FFA is just gay and so are about all of the people in it, along with those who talk about taking it over. You could at least keep those ambitions to roleplay and quit ruining it." We need more guilds who actually go and build themselves up from the foundation... Actually, what I used to do (With Ravey. I might've done it with someone else) was to create a sort of fake guild that would attack a guild (I'd ask them if I could, first.) and then basically just test their defenses. I failed to a rail gun the first time. I only had about 10 people, but I managed to get a half-exploded truck past the gates of a guild. The rail gun wiped out the 10 guys who were left and had to run a few miles just to get to the facility, though. I found it rather hilarious, as my terrorist-types had lots of equipment, yet were somewhat suicidal. I managed to get one of Ravey's members (Croix?) out of commission, though. Ahh, I miss those days. I can't stand even clicking on the Gaia forums now-a-days. EDIT: I got the number of guys I had wrong. I can't start with 10 and have 10 at the railgun part. I probably started with like 15 and ended with 8. No idea.

God, I miss 'em too. There was a certain atmosphere then that I can't bring back. Must've just been the guilds and the people, even places in Commerce were okay. And I didn't even come in until late '04. Would've loved to have been on this site when it first came up. I remember you, faintly, from Raven's crew when they'd poke their noses in FFA, and I think you might have even been a part of one of Doji's old guilds. Could be wrong about the Doji part, but I definitely remember you ('s why I sent an invite, actually).

That sounds interesting. I never really saw a guild war before, so I can guess It would be rather intersting to watch. Seth's match is over....

Damn Superman... whee ::shakes fist at the comicbook world:: ...he's the only comic hero Deity's come across so far that Fierce wouldn't be able to kill immediately.
...speaking on clones and characters' explosive strengths...Deity tends to be rather conservative with that sort of thing...well...the explosiveness, anyway. Here, he'll probably save any of the higher impact moves for when he doesn't have any other way out. So he may end up doing just a lot of hand-to-hand, and maybe a bit of swordplay...
Doppelgangers aren't a big deal deal when Deity uses them...he can't just spawn more power, so at most they're only half his strength. But he still really doesn't give them lots of ki, so they're more or less a distraction while he does something important.
....Deity'll really, really try not to blow up th'ring... ^o^;

I honestly don't remember you (Or your screen name, at least) from anywhere. I had absolutely no idea why I was invited, as I hadn't been on Gaia in so long and had some seemingly random invite to a guild. As far as I know, I was with "Raven's Crew" mostly. I really don't remember Dojo... I think Gaia needs a "Reset" or "Restart" Forum...Where it invites all the people who aren't complete idiots back to it, to (Hopefully) start the old way the RPing and Guild war things worked. Or just a Reset button, but that would piss off anyone who dontated and got items. Deity: You'd have to go and start searching for Kryptonite while he chases you around in his Speedo. It's a very disturbing image. I've been annoyed with clones recently. It's mainly due to the fact that I was at some guild (Synful Quests. My profile is actually saved there) and the whole clone thing was pretty much abused. And they also had some weird charging system and they also weren't what one would call the "best" RPers. It just bored the hell out of me and I had a nice character which I only got to use once. Girr.

You probably wouldn't remember me, all I did was get blown up by those guys mostly and fought with Ton's NPD from time to time.
I know it'd piss like everybody off, especially those who feel they've worked their asses off to get where they're at if they've been on Gaia since the start, but I honestly don't care about the items anymore and wouldn't mind a reset. I'd hate to see some of my prized old baby threads killed off and the posts lost, 'cause I'm a sucker for history of sites and like how certain people have forged their Gaian legacies, so I dunno. Probably never happen, but it'd be interesting, and would be the ultimate return to the nostalgia of earning items, starting anew, all that.
Seth, that was a nice fight, by the way. =) Comical, and you took your loss like a man. The stuff with the woman observing the match was cool, too.

@Kenny: Ahaha... that's not what Deity meant... xD ...from what he understands, if Superman's power source (the Sun) is removed, he'll slowly lose power. The latest Superman is supposedly invincible, but Fierce is just as hard to kill, so...it's just a matter of removing Superman's power source and waiting for his battery to run low. =P
....yes, clones can get annoying if abused. Hell, anything can get annoying when abused. Deity made th'mistake of flaunting Shunkido when his character first learned it...and unfortunately ended up teaching it to a few other RPers....so it's not as special anymo'... ._. ...like, four otehr people can do it. Granted, only two of them know how t'do it right, but still....

"You probably wouldn't remember me, all I did was get blown up by those guys mostly and fought with Ton's NPD from time to time."
I might remember you. I remember a giant flow of people into the NPD at some point or another.
"I know it'd piss like everybody off, especially those who feel they've worked their asses off to get where they're at if they've been on Gaia since the start, but I honestly don't care about the items anymore and wouldn't mind a reset. Currently, I only care about my items. I don't have ANYTHING on Gaia currently, as I've just recently returned. All of my items are from like 9 months ago, or so. Hah. Yes, it would be interesting, though.
"CALL ME THE SANDMAN CAUSE I PUT NIGGAS TO SLEEP."
Sandman: They sleep?
"Ahaha... that's not what Deity meant... xD ...from what he understands, if Superman's power source (the Sun) is removed, he'll slowly lose power. Deity: You want a man with Speedos to be chasing you..In the dark? Creepy.
Really, though, I completely forgot about the Sun thing. I'm not exactly into comic book things. Some of the movies are good, though. And some of them are just lame...
"....yes, clones can get annoying if abused. Hell, anything can get annoying when abused."
Yeah, anything can be abused. Cloning currently is the most annoying thing to me, so far.
Bleh, I have no idea how far I'll get in this tournament. I haven't RPed in so long. Er, RPed at a good level. I've done some lame OOC things, but those have all just been as jokes.
EDIT:
"Clash was 'garagekid' ane yeares ago in the day. I'm surprised he remembered me, and I'm surprised I remember him."
Oh, I remember him. He was horrible back then. Oh gosh, I really remember him. I remember that attack he did on the NPD...I found it overly hilarious. I hope you improved since then.
