Hayate was sure to get some distance from Sin as it was flailing around trying to swap them away. Hayate saw a small army of sin scales begin to rush up on him. He started to do a set of handseals as he was sure that this was going to hurt sin and the sin scales. Hayate pulled off his mask and blew out a icy stream of ice, "Ice River." He said as the ice river was flowing down and froze over the area of Sins eyes as it froze the sin Scales in place. Hayate did another set of handseals as he did his purify technique once again. The blades of energy continued to hack away at the skin and eyes of Sin. Hayate was wondering what he could do to stop this thing.

Sin cried out as it started to fall towards the ground. But before it crashed, it started to arc upwards, landing upon it's feet. A loud roar came from it's opening mouth before enormous wings started to appear from it's back, revealing an entirely new Sin called, Overdrive Sin. This Sin was charging itself for one single attack capable of destroying an entire village and possibly half the world if it wasn't defeated quickly. The Wings would suddenly flap hard, sending Sin once more into the air but this time, there were no Sin Scales upon it. Ice was falling from it due to Hayate's attack, raining upon the Shinobi still doing battle with Sin Scales down below. Sin then remained motionless within the air, gathering all it's strength for this single attack.
Quote: I will allow you both to make a single post with 4 techniques within it. I wish for you to combine the most kick a** techniques you can think of into one bad a** technique. Depending on what you use and how it should react to it, that will either destroy, stall, or not even affect Sin. Good Luck and choose wisely. You only got one shot. mrgreen

Valkyrie returned to Hidden Leaf to continue her training. She was by now used to the business of the village. However at this point she had other things to do. She needed to finish her medical training before she left and that meant being in hidden Moon for possibly months. None the less she was ready for the wait. While Ichigo and the rest of the team would be doing there own thing, Valkyrie decided to focus her training on mastering the medical techniqu. It was the least that she could do for the team.
1
Walking around the city she finally came to a teaching hospital that she was told to go to. It was good that she had researched the place because there was really nothing to make it stand out from the building around it. Valkyrie wondered if the place was really as good as people said it was. However she knew that there was really only one way to find that out and that was to walk in. That is what she did. She walked into the building and straight towards the reception desk. From the inside it looked like a hospital.
2
At the front desk Valkyrie inquired about medical training. The receptionist stared at Valkyrie for a few moments with narrowed eyes. The stare held long enough for Valkyrie to rais an eyebrow wondering what was up with this receptionist. Still she stared untill her expression suddenly changed. She smacked herself upside her head and began to speak. "Ohhh I get it, your a kunoichi. That would explain the clothes. You should have been more specific about the kind of medical training you wanted."
3
The receptionist smiled and Valkyrie could not help but smile back. The receptionist did have a point. Her clothes did not fit the part. The reception looked down at her books and began to flip through them mumbling something that Valkyrie could not hear. After shuffling through pages for a few seconds the receptionist put her finger down on a line. "Okay, you are going to the second floor basement, room d04. I will call ahead." Valkyrie thanked the receptionist and began to walk towards the stairs.
4
Valkyrie walked past several examination rooms on her way to the stairs. Patients in varying stages of injury. It was a somwhat scary sight, but not nearly bad enough for Valkyrie to go back on this . This was something that Valkyrie wanteed to do. This was something that Valkyrie wanted to get over with before she moved on with her studies. She knew of one place that she needed to pass by before going to Hidden Federation. Hopefully this Break from searching for Sin would give her time to finish her training and return to the village.
5
Valkyrie did not want to be called off her training to face sin until after her training was complete. And the fact was that she had a long way to go before her training was complete. Days at the very least. The fact was the Valkyrie was good at grasping concepts. She was good at controling her chakra. If it was not for those two things, Valkyrie probably would not have become a medical student. However she has the skills to go through the training. Even with that, however, this was some of the hardest training that she had ever gone through.
6 Kiyomaru (Cleanse) 600 Skill Points
Medical trainin was harder even than genjutsu training. It was truly something that Valkyrie had to work at to improve herself in. This was something that was totally new and odd for Valkyrie. Still she fought on She needed to really work. Medical jutsu require a steady flow of chakra flowing towards the needed individual. That chakra had to remain steady for long periods of time. A regulay medical personnel worked in groups and that helped keep the flow of chakra steady. However medical ninja worked alone.
7
They had to measure their own chakra and hope that it lasted long enough to save the patient. Valkyrie had taken that hippocratic oath and knew what was expected of her. That was why this was so important to her. It took her a while but finally Valkyrie found the stairs. It was a wide staircase, obviously used to carry patients up and down at high speeds. Valkyrie could not hold both railings at the same time the stairway was so wide. It was also dimly light. Valkyrie had to work hard to see all the way down to the floor below.
8
She certainly could not see any lower than that. This would be perfect for Akira and his kikuta eyes. They were perfect for things like this. Still Valkyrie had pluses of her own. They just did not work in cases like this. Valkyrie began to walk down the stairs. She was moving somewhat slow so that her steps would be steady. That was something that she made sure that she did so that she did not get herself hurt. It took her a few minutes to make it to the first floor basement. She peeked in a window and saw what they were doing in there.
9
There seemed to be a heuge sign on the ground and medical practicions standing at points on it. There was a being in the middle. This was obviously major surgery. Not exactly something that Valkyried though that she would see at a teaching hospital. However she needed to get to where she needed to be. She turned and walked down the hall. She saw that things similar to that were going on in the other rooms that were occupied on the floor This place might as well be a full fledged hospital for all of the work that it was doing.
10
That could be it or maybe it was something else that was causing a large amount of people to find there way into the hospital. However, Valkyrie would need more time before she could find out whether or not that was true. She hurried down the second flight of stairs and down to the second floor basement. There was simply one really large room down here. Obviously a teaching station. There were four students in the room with an instructor. Valkyrie took a seat near the back of the room away from prying eyes.
11
The Instructor then began to talk. "When in the field you do not always have the luxury of clean sheets and a body of fresh water to sterilize your hands and instruments in. However, it is completely unacceptable to treat an ailing patient with dirty tools. Doing so may spell death for your patient and could be considered a complete disregard for the hippocratratic oath that each and every one of you took. You all have text books in front of you. The page numbers that explain the technique are written on the board.
12
When you have completed the reading you will pair up and test attempt the technique. That is all" With that the instructor took a step back and left the room through the door near his desk. He seemed to be in a hurry to leave. The instructor seemed somewhat old most likely in his forties or fifties. He walked with a limp meaning that he had probably had work done on his right leg, mostlikey knee or ankle. That was probably why he was teaching instead of out in the field because he certinly like his work.
13 Teikouryoku (Power of Resistance) 700 Skill Points
There was a reason why Valkyrie was studying in Hidden Leaf rather than in Hidden Moon. She did the research and knew that this man was one of the top surgeons in his time. Along with that he was also an excellent teacher and knew what he was doing. That was always a good thing. There were good teacher in Hidden Moon but Valkyrie wanted to learn from the best and he might as well get to it now while Moon and leaf where still on good terms in the way of political and ambassadorial stuff like that.
14
Valkyrie never really understood affairs of state. Maybe that was one reason why she wanted a job like this, so that she would not have to understand affairs of state. Or at least it would be a long time before she would have to understand affairs of state. That was always good. She looked in the bood that she was supposed to read. The theory of the technique seemed understandable enough and the book was easy enough to read. She finished it within a few minutes and decided to kill time by looking at the other students.
15
Valkyrie wondered if they were just like him, She wondered if they were also like her. She wondered if they were people who excelled in chakra control, possibly ninja genius' like she was. IT was perfectly possible. It would probably be cool if they were. However, well whatever. Valkyrie saw that others were finishing reading as she was. She decided to test the technique out but she wondered how she would know if it worked. The teacher came in a few minutes later and began talking about another thing about them.
16
Another thing that is iportant to understand is that the human body is a cesspool. Our warm blooded carcasses are a breeding fround for disease and provide optimum working conditions for most poisons. That means that we have to take great pains to protect ourselves from such problems. When dealing with an open wound you put yourself in the danger of contracting dangerous diseases. These days you have no idea what is in your patients blood stream or what a weapon is drenched in.
17
For example in my time I would drench my weapons in ebola simply because I was in the place to do that, being a medical ninja and all. The technique that you all have just read about is one line of defense against such dangerous possibilities, however, the technique I am about to teach you is possibly your best line of defense. In its most basic definition this technique is a boost to your immune system. As I basically said earlier, Medical ninja must allways be vigilent about not becoming a victim or your patients ailments.
18
This technique, aptly named the power of resistance makes sure that that never happens. It strengthens your immune system and allows you to become more resistant to disease and poisons. Combined with some of the techniques that can be learned elsewhere, or even made on your own, you can be completely immune to such things. However, that is simply how it is. There is the possibility, however, that even with this technique you can still become infected. That is always a possibility.

As Yamai finished his food and drink and Yuri took the cup and bowl. "Thanks." Yamai said as she walked away to the back... A few minutes later "She's been gone a while." Yamai thought to himself. She was in the back asking the boss could she take a vacation. "Thats fine with me as long as you can make your way back." After hearing that she got excited, ran up, and hugged him. She walked out from the kitchen. " I'm back... I just asked if I can take a break." She looked down like she was sad. Then she jumped up. " He said I can go."
"Thats great... I need to find one person first before I leave this place." Yamai said as he stood and grabbed he hands. She began blushing as he grabbed her. " Who did you come here to see." Yamai looked her in the eys and gave a dramatic pause. "... Maito Gai" "Oh wanna learn some taijutu from him." "Not really... I actually came here because I heard his knows forbidden techniques that could make me become much stronger than I am now." " Oh you mean how to open the eight celestial gates." "Yeah thats right." "I'll take you to him then." "Good..."
Yamai and Yuri left the restaurant. "Just follow me." Yuri said as they went to find Maito Gai. A few minutes later the had found Gai and Lee training in a dojo. "Hello Gai sensei." "Hey Yuri." "I've brought you someone who wishes to train with you." "Oh really... And who might you be." "My name is Yamai Majora. I come from the Hidden Mask Village in the Federation." "And what do you want from me." "I want you to teach me how to open the eight celestial gates." "Oh you do... You know that will take a long time to complete." Yamai looked over at Yuri. "I'll be done here in a week. So get ready and do everything you need to do before you come back."

"A week huh" "Yeah a week I'll have the whole thing down. Can you explain what this will do to me all at once." "Ummm ok... Lee were done here for today." Lee left to go train alone. "Ok in addition to the 361 tenketsu, the chakra circulatory system houses eight valves responsible for regulating the flow of chakra through the ninja's body. The Hachimon or eight celestial gates are located along the spine, the heart and in the ninja's head. It is possible to force the body to open these gates, which allows the ninja to release ten times the usual amount of power.
Unfortunately such power comes at a price, as each subsequent gate is opened, the ninja increases the damage to their body and comes closer to death. For this reason gate opening has been deemed Kinjutsu. If all eight gates are opened, the ninja gains power that surpasses the Hokage at the cost of their own life. Also even if the ninja opens fewer gates, if they do not strike a finishing blow against their opponent, they will be severely weakened and very defenseless to a counter attack. " "That sounds good just what I need on my quest to become the most powerful taijutsu master and become part of the senate."
" Ok the first gate you will be learning to open is called the Initial Gate. This gate is what restricts one's mentality on how much their muscles can take. Releasing this gate will cause your Chakra and Stamina to increase . The next gate I will teach you to open is called the Heal Gate. This gate is what restricts the body to try and mend in its usualy manor. If it is broken down the body begins to regenerate and an alarmingly fast rate. Releasing this gate will cause your Stamina to replenish itself. Thus all wounds caused prior are healed. Using this will cause stress on the body."

"Doesn't the whole thing cause stress on the body..." Gai nodded. " Yeah mostly...The third gate you will learn to open is called the Life Gate. This gate is what restricts the flow of your soul's chakra. Releasing this gate, will cause a great out surge of chakra to flow through the body of the ninja. It will also cause their body to giving off a green aura. The downside to this gate is if you keep it open too long it will start to permanently drain stamina from the body." "Oh I see. That doesn't sound too good." "It isn't but as long as you use it correctly and wisely you should be ok."
"The next gate is good for the moment but has some bad after affects, it's called the Wound Gate. This gate is what controls the feeling of pain within the body, registering what makes the body feel good and what makes pain flow through the body. Releasing this gate, will give the you the ability to not feel pain. It will also create an incredible pain sensation through the entire body. Where once the gates close, for the next three days. It will be hard to battle, because of the intense pain. This pain is terrible it will be hard to get over. It's not something you get used too."
"Those are the first half you will learn. The next one is the Limit Gate. This gate, is what restricts the power of the muscles, the body normally only uses so much of a muscles true strength in order to reduce the risk of straining and hurting muscles and deteriorating them through excessive and reckless use. If you use this one too long the side affect is that it will start to deteriorate your muscles. Strength will decreased as the battle goes on. Once you get past the point of your muscles deteriorating you will begin losing actually chakra from your body that doesn't return."
"The sixth gate you will open is called the View Gate. This gate is what restricts the power of the eyes. The eyes can only register so much information at one time, without causing harm to the eyes. Releasing this gate, will remove that restriction from the eyes and have it so that the user can see things much easier and even things that are faster then them can be seen easier. If this gate is open too long the strain on the eyes would be incredible. Hampering the users ability to see after the battle. But if you continue on after that you risk the possibility of going blind."
"The seventh gate is called the Wonder Gate. This gate, is one of the last restrictors upon the body. The use of this gate, brings out some of the bodies utmost potential. This gate although one of the last gates, doesn't have any cons to it, if it is used alone. But if you use this gate combined with the other ones it will permanently drain chakra. You don't want that, then you'd have to do much training to make up for what you lost in a few minutes so you have to be careful when opening this gate. You always have to keep track of time when using the gates."
"The eight and final gate is called the Death Gate. The final gate nicknamed the Death Gate because it is known to cause death of any ninja that releases it. This gate, opens up the gate to the soul. Soul Chakra is by far the most powerful chakra in the world, for it is used in cases of special sealings and such. When this gate is opened, you start with a stat now called Soul Chakra that is equal to half your total chakra. Every few seconds your Soul Chakra will be taken away." Yamai grinned. " I see that all sound good. Can we get started on this today. I wanna be done with the first three gates by the end of today."

Yamai began his gate training and combined with the Kara Blade he completed his training in a week. The first day he opened the first three gates, the second day he open the next two gates, then each day after he opened up one gate each until the final day of the 7 were he just trained with Gai. Afterwards they just sat down to take a break... " I don't know how you did it Yamai but you did." Yamai knew himself how he did it but he never gave out his secret. He used his Kara Blade to nullify the effects of the celestial so nothing wrong would happen to his body. "I don't either... It like I altered reality." Yamai said with a smile on his face." "Thats where believing gets you Yamai." Gai said as Yuri came in from her final day at work with all her thing she wanted to take packed up. "You all done here." "Yup." Yamai sighed as he laid back. "Man I'm tired." Yuri walked over to Yamai. "I brought you some new clothes." " Oh thanks... I look like crap now. " Yamai's clothes had were tore and had holes all through them. "Let me rest first" Yamai said as he fell asleep.

Inishi had never been in a village as crowded as this. That could be understandable since she had never been out of Hidden Moon up till now. However she needed to be out of there now. She needed to get a lot oaf training done. She had been wasting time and she was not the only one. Ranmaru was somewhere around the place wasting time himself. The fact ws that probably they should not have been trusted to go to Hidden Leaf and stay there alone. They probably should have had some kind of supervision while they were here.
1
However, it is too late to decide about that. She was in it for the long haul. Now she needed to get some work done. She needed to make sure that she finished what she had come here fore by the end of the month and moved on. She was out of touch with her family and her village and that was probably not a good thing. However, time would tell if that was true. Until then Onishi would have to train and train until she was ready to leave. She had a lot of things to be in town for also so it was probably going to be a tall order with the month winding down to but a couple days left until the new month began a new.
2
She needed to hurry if she would finish everything that she wanted to before leaving. However as time went on she believed more and more that she would not be able to pull that off. She would most likely need more time than the time that she had given herself to finish what she wanted to however, by wasting so much time she did not give herself much choice and would have no choice but to work this out himself. She sighed as her massage was completed and got off of the table. Another problem was her money was finally beginning to run out.
3
That was understandable since she was indulging herself quite a bit since getting to Hidden Leaf. She had had two such appointments with massage parlors, as well as buying a new wardrobe to take with her back to Hidden Moon. It was all quite enjoyable truthfully. However now that this vacation was nearing its end Onishi had to prepare to return to Hidden Moon and she neeeded to do that and make sure that she had gotten a great bit done during her extended absense. In the long run they probably would not care too much with all that has been going on.
4
They were pulld out of the Academy for a reason. A force that was in the place to affect the whole world had assembled and Hidden Moon was not sure if the Moon Shinobi would be enough to eliminate this treat. The fact of the matter is that they were somewhat successful. Now that is probably why the group was not being pushed around so much and also why no one had come to check on Ranmaru and herself. Onish could not complain. That meant that they would have plenty of freedom. IT also meant taht they would be perfectly safe.
5
Regardless, Onishi had to work on her own crap before moving on. She not just needed to get work done here but she needed to move on and get work done in another part of the world before retuning to Hidden Moon. It was quite funny in a why, but Onishi was not laughing. On the other hand Onishi was not really worried. The Village knew where they were and if they wanted to find them they could. In reality Onishi had all the time in the world to complete her training. Well, relatively all the time in the world to complete her training.
6
So Onishi decided to get something to eat. She was in the village for a long time and she knew a few places to eat. One place inperticular was a barbecue place. Onishi had developed a taste for barbecue pork. That would probably not do much for her figure in the long run. Also, fortunately for her, she could always find someone who was more than willing to pay her bill for her. She knew she was beautiful and she knew that she could get just about what ever she wanted from people. That was a dangerous thing to know.
7
So off she set, her clothes warmed by the massage parlor and feeling so comfortable on her. She wondered how Ranmaru was doing on his side. No doubt he was also having fun. He was certainly not used to being around a place like this. He spent most of his time infront of a forge so it was quite unavoidable. Now he was in something that was pretty much a bustling city to him. It must be quite mystifying to someone like him. Onishi smiled thinking about it. It was really quite nice. he was like a farm boy in that respect, even though she has seen barely more than he has.
8
Onishi wandered the streets looking at everyone and everything well not so much looking as it would be listening or whatever. It was quite hard to deal with a person such like her, being blind and all. She took the more scenic rout to get to where she wanted to get to. However she got to it in record time. The barbecue place was bustling with activity and Onishi had to look around for a table with someone man sitting alone. that was always the easy part of the job. The harder part of the job was . . . well there really was not hard part to tell you the truth.
9
Well at least there was no hard par in a dress like that. It was really the perfect dress for this kind of work. Within a few minutes she was eating her fill, which fortunately for the poor b*****d that was not extremely much. Onishi still had to keep her figure of course. With a couple of minutes of talking culmunating into a very seductive kiss, the . . . horny stranger was more than willing to take the bill. Poor b*****d. Onishi left the place soon after. she left with a full stomach and a hyperactive strength. She now decided to set off on her training.

Hayate watched as Sin had transformed into something dangerous, "Damn it." He said as he could only think of one thing that might be bale to stop him. Hayate did a sucession of handseals as He was glowing brighter and brighter. "Purify, purify, purify...errnn...Purify!" He said as a total of 40 blades were created. Being a shinobi of Hidden Night, this technique was rather unorthadox for him to use. But it got the job done. He looked at Tsuki and wondered what her techniques would be against this thing. Hayate didn't hesitate for a moment as he sent all of his blades straight for sin hoping that they would be enough to stop Sin in it's place.

She clenches her teeth slowly and panting heavily as she watches Sin plunge towards the ground only to hop back up to its odd tentacle-like legs and noticed its color had changed and it began to charge something massive, but now Sin was completely defenseless and now was their chance! Seeing Komen prepare an attack, a wave of forty swords appearing around them, Tsuki would aid him by performing a string of hand seals. "Dim Mak!" She cried out as each individual sword would be lined with a thick layer of swirling chakra increasing its strength greatly to the point where they would be able to literally cut through anything. Tsuki then took in a deep breath as her shining golden hues gave off a feint glimmer. "Be Purified By the Light!" Tsuki shouts as a beam of her chakra shot out from her arm and three celestial gates would open up around her where the other Archangels had been. Three massive, sentinel beings descended from these gates, there were at least, if not bigger, than the size of Sin's legs and appeared to be both spiritual and robotic. The light radiating from their bodies would regenerate the power in her Angelus armor as she took in a calm deep breath as the gates closed. The silver chakra around her then flashed with bits of electricity and her golden hues were glowing angelically. These Archangels were her attack force and would seem quite familiar, like the others, these couldn't be dispersed of without Tsuki's approval. Except one who seemed to be the thinnest of all of her Archangels. They appeared around her and she called out to them from left to right. "Raphael! Gabriel! Michael!" She called out as they form a triangular shape around Tsuki, one at the bottom left, the other and the bottom right, and the last one above her. Placing her blade away she held out her right palm in front and slightly above her, taking in a deep breath and concentrating her mind and chakra. A swirling dark blue chakra sphere appearing in her palm, radiating with light before turning a silver color, it grew and grew as her Archangels gather around her and began using their massive hands to shape and swirl Tsuki's chakra sphere, pouring their own energy into it as it began to turn a golden hue and grew even further, having to re-shape to the Archangels' massive size. Her entire up was extended above her now and the sphere of pure chakra had been well over twice her height and didn't stop. of course holding such great chakra would have been nearly impossible without this copy berserker mask her summon had created for her. with this power at her disposal she snapped her fingers when the sphere was done growing, able to hold it by herself now as it hovers in her palm, three times her size. She began to perform another string of hand seals with her free hand, her archangels doing the same with two hand massive balls of fire began to appear all around them, a couple hundred near each Archangel, though less around Tsuki because of her smaller stature to produce them. Finally she broke off into a second set of hand seals to form kunai all around them, carrying the same energy from her previous Dim Mak technique, though they had explosive tags all around them, they were smaller than the fire balls though there were two for every one fire ball there was. A kunai in the center carrying an explosive pouch at its end. "Big Bang Attack!" Tsuki cries out before pointing a finger towards Sin and immediately her fire balls and flying explosive kunai would fire towards Sin in sync with Komen's swords. As their conjoined attacks raced towards Sin as Tsuki then takes in a deep breath. "And now you die!" She shouts before launching her massive Oodama Rasengan forwards after the previous attacks, being the nail in the coffin. The golden sphere holding all of her resolve. 69/??? Chiyo looked at the time. “Oh no! I’m sorry. I’m late!” She waved at Kyo as she started to run off. ‘That was a cool blade! I wander what’s for lunch. I’m really hungry.’ She continued to run towards the village, hunger leading her there. She hummed the entire way, thinking about food the entire time. She came upon a small shop. She knew she had no money on her, but she went in and looked at the trinkets in there. “Oh wow, how pretty.” She didn’t spend a lot of time in the shop. She left and continued her exploration back home.

A boy with fiery red hair began wandering the streets of Hidden Leaf. He wasn't sure why he was there but he needed some time away from his brother. He was dressed in a flowing black cloak with a hoodie drawn down. Koukon bore crimson eyes and two black tatoos of thin triangles under his eyes like a clown. He waked with an overconfident attitude strutting through the streets wondering where his ventures would take him after meeting that annoying Cloud ninja.

Sin's eyes would concentrate on the two as they started their attacks while Sin was still in the middle of charging it's own attack. Suddenly, as the 40 swords stabbed right through it, Sin's mouth started opening wide, giving a loud roar in rage and pain, not really having felt such feelings before other than the times it had fought against the Final Aeons from the Summoners of Spira. After being hit with the Big Bang attack from Tsuki, her Oodama Rasengan would slam it straight in the side of it's head, causing Sin to cry out in agony and hatred towards the others. But, the attacks did the trick in destroying Sin's concentration to power it's most strongest attack ever. But, Sin didn't disappear in a flurry of Pyreflies like its scales had. Suddenly, Sin would open its mouth, swallowing Tsuki and Hayate within it's mouth. But instead of finding themselves within it's stomach or anything like that, they would be standing in the midst of a large city which was Zanarkand. An ancient City of Spira completely powered and ran by Machina, machines. In the distance, a flying ball of black and red would be flying around in large circles before disappearing straight down behind some buildings.
((BEHOLD! The inside of Sin is actually a city! *Shock, surprise, fireworks, whatever* Now, three more fights await you. Will you both be able to survive them all?))

Naniyori stopped a ways from the village, having heard that there was a great deal of commotion there as some creature had come to attack, mimicking the incidents of the nine tailed fox that took place a long time ago in the village that nearly destroyed it. People were flooding out of the village en mass, and Naniyori got the feeling that whatever it was that he was suppose to be afraid of would definitely end up being something that he regretted seeing, if he did go inwards. Having no particular interest in the truce between their villages now, deciding instead to avoid the combat that was taking place, Naniyori stopped a short distance from the village and began setting his things here or there along the grassy road, the top of the great gates of Konoha barely visible in the distance, leaving the village and anything that might have been inside too far off to even be a blur for the shinobi from th Hidden Cloud to see. But, in case everything wasn't destroyed by the time he got there, Naniyori decided it wouldn't hurt if he drew forth a map and looked at some of the historical spots that were in the Konoha village, since he might as well go sight seeing while he was training to bring about the destruction of their village. It wasn't unusual for someone to want to go and see the five hokage rock faces for example, and he was sure no one would go interrupting him and challenging him to a battle to the death between shinobi while he was there doing what any innocent traveler was. He wasn't someone of particular importance like the raikage, so there was no reason for assassins to be waiting on him and preparing ot kill him. it was just like a family going on vacation to a famous tourist destination, and Naniyori knew that that was exactly how he would act when he wasn't training in order to learn some of the many advanced jutsus that existed in Konoha. Even now he knew that they had an amazingly advanced repertoire of techniques for battle that most other villages didn't, and many people were even willing not to credit that to the fact that they were the original hidden village that began the art of sharing ninjutsu and perfecting the arts that were taught amongst the hidden villages. This was the core of teh world of the shinobi now that Naniyori thought about it, and even he knew that amongst this town the origins of the shinobi world, of the system with one large village to a country and the idea of selling their services to a feudal lord or the like was made and begun. That was why this was the source for everything, the peace and the conflict, the heart of humanity in the world that the shinobi lived in and serviced their masters through. Naniyori was well aware of just what this village meant to most other people, and its special meanings extended to him as well, since he had always thought of it in a special manner like the others. After all, a village that was a source of the failed world, the old one that needed to be washed away was a village that anyone would recognized and respect, and when he crushed it it would be a sign of a new world led by even greater power and balance, one that might rely only on the strong shinobi, rather than the weak idiots who were pumped out of Konoha daily because the village hidden in the leafs had never been able to accept the same basic principles that they originally founded. Their founder, the one who was known as the first great hokage believed that a unified strong shinobi force would have a much better chance at ruling the world than a force that was crafted out of an army of the weaker shinobi, and so he had bound together with the Uchiha clan and brought a great deal of order to the civil war torn countries that were unable to find peace in themselves because of their inadequate means and sources of power. Naniyori intended to bring about an equal and greater revolution in the world of the shinobi, and when the time had come he was sure that he would make those who had watched his ascension proud and thus bring honor to himself, the father who was disgraced by th sacrifices made at the end of the war with Konoha, and the entire Hidden Cloud Village which didn't intend to show him any respect, that had nearly cast him aside after all the work that he and his clan had put into founding, maintaining and empowering both the lightening country and the village that was it's source of life, and its source of protection from other villages which would easily choose to take over if they had to. This was the source of motivation for him, not just to take on missions that were given to the village when they came up, but to ascend ahead of the village's needs and eventually bring about a better place for all shinobi, which was made through his force and his jutsus rather than the techniques that were crafted in this current and failing world of shinobi. It wasn't necessarily right to say that he agreed with shinobi like Orochimaru who believed in sacrificing lives and creating costly, forbidden jutsus, but rather Naniyori worked hard in order to forge new jutsus that did not require such large sacrifices and still made an important impact upon the battlefield. He'd learned to craft a special skill using his sword already that allowed him to turn basic close range fighting into a long range battle when needed, and to allow his sword to remain strong even when normally it would crack from his chakra pressure, and eventually he would design more elaborate jutsus in order to compensate for the parts of his combat style that he was not prepared for yet. It was true that there were the brillian and then there were the dense, and Naniyori would whole heartedly oppose anyone who thought that he was one of the latter, the fact that he was so quick to think up thorough strategies in battle a sign of his quick working mind, which was often an incredibly dangerous shinobi weapon on the battlefield, more so than most of teh shinobi weapons that were crafted for cutting and piercing. Shikimaru Nara had once defeated a shinobi who was considered nearly Jounin rank as a newly fledged Chuunin, because on the battlefield his strategies were undeniably brilliant in comparison to most other shinobi. That was the sort of fair play that Naniyori intended to use when fighting, and that was also why learning certain jutsus would come easier to him than most others, who were slower in comprehending the basics of a technique; if you could understand, then you could win and that was one of the most important, no, the most important thing on the battlefield when it came time for push and shove.
Naniyori knew exactly how economical it was to use such shinobi on the battlefield rather than those with raw talent, although there was a time and place for both of those groups. Those who had intelligence were amazing field officers but were also required for basic routine things in a Hidden Village, and those who had talent were useful both for teaching others once they understood the premise of a technique, and for their talent on the battlefield in which they could easily decimate a less aware enemy. There was something to be said for hard work as well, but they took a great deal of time and skill to make them as strong as either of the two others, and that wasn't very economical when it came to the well being of the shinobi as a whole. Those who were talented needed very little but what it took to sustain them and a drive to increase their power to become mighty warriors for use on the battlefield, and those who were intelligent would quickly device ways around the weaknesses that they presented in a battle or when they were learning how to use a new jutsu in order to make up for what they didn't have in natural talents. These were the most economical shinobi, and that was why it would be best to provide them with a special place for training, such as a new Hidden Village that did not accept those whose skills were limited, especially if they were in certain areas. The taijutsu user Rock Lee, a member of the Konoha village he was now so close to that Naniyori had heard about, was apparently a user of a taijutsu only based repertoire, and that made him a weakness on the battlefield, not an exceptional warrior. Naniyori had heard about the way he persevered and through years of extensive training built up his newly found talent, but even so it had taken all of the things that cost money and time that the village didn't have. Even then, he had a weakness and couldn't use ninjutsu or genjutsu, things that made him extremely vulerable on the battlefield. There was no shinobi who could use only taijutsu practically, and that made it so that anyone like that would definitely be a hindrance when the time came to put a group of trained shinobi into battle. If he was in a shinobi unit, then it was likely with a number of skilled shinobi to make up for his weaknesses, exactly as Naniyori continued to remind himself was not the best unit style in the first place. Only the most elite should have been paired with the most elite, and that made the system of the hidden leaf village flawed in that regard. However, when he considered the person he'd heard was teamed with Rock Lee, it only both confirmed his hypothesis and further reminded him of the foolishness of the system that they still implemented in the rival village's home. Neji Hyuuga, he'd heard, was one with born natural talent that surpassed most of their whole clan, even the main branch that had for many years suppressed the lower branch as the weaker ones who were not to be the successors of the Hyuuga clan. He had reached the level of Jounin in incredible amounts of time, and that meant that heh ad a talent that could rarely be found in any village. That was why it was that he had been paired with a foolish taijutsu user like Rock Lee, who could hardly understand the different types of jutsus, let alone perform them. Rock Lee may have had exceptional strong fist style, but with Neji and his soft fist style it was easy to handle ninjutsu and genjutsu much more effectively and deal with the situation as it called for. Thinking about it further, Neji had the Byakugan, one of the most sacred eye techniques which allowed one to see directly through an attack or either the genjutsus or ninjutsus, with an almost non existent blind spot present. That was why he would be able to ascend and take on missions with such ease, completing them as easily as the records said he had, and Naniyori was well aware of the uses of someone whose raw talents was as far ahead as his own. naniyori intended to prove that as a member of the Mayanari clan and as a member of the village hidden in the clouds, he had an equal amount of talent and would ascend just as his predecessors from that hidden leaf had. Meanwhile, he thought of Shikimaru nara again. The economical choice; often sold off as a medium level shinobi, but with powers that far surpassed those of a highly elite jounin if one were to focus properly in battle. He'd heard that the man completed countless missions, all using his simple shadow possession jutsus and his mind, which always thought many steps ahead of the game. He was born into a clan with an exceptional ability of course, but Naniyori knew that it was more than that which made them deadly in battle, and it was in their minds where their true power lay since their clan had a tendency to be made of lazy bumbs who rarely learned a vast majority of the jutsus available to them. It was said that a nara could analyze an opponent in two minutes flat if they were an elite jounin level with hundreds of jutsus. It was also said tha anything of a lesser rank didn't even stand a chance against their analytical minds. Naniyori had known that they would be a valuable source of power if they ever made any alliances with outside villages, but they were a clan that seemed to be especially tied to the Hokage and never seemed to think of the possibilities of betraying their village, something that could have rewarded them handsomely. They were often heard of as the most legendary of the Konoha for success rates on missions, even if they weren't assigned the most high class ones, and when they were given the most rare they were often supported by those who had the talent to back them up, their clan having been closely tied to two others for a number of years already. A battle behind mastermind shinobi was a battle that was already won before it ever started, and it wasn't too hard to say that because of the Nara clan, the village hidden in the clouds had suffered a great deal of losses during the last war. More so than even when they fought the Hyuugas, who had ended their attempt to force the villages into war once more, and even more so than deadly forces like the legendary seven swordsmen and those powers which were suppose to be the trump cards of the villages. That was why someone got the most out of their money if they asked for one of the Nara clan, and that was why in a world where Naniyori made the most Elite shinobi band together with the most elite shinobi, they would be included amongst the best, and never pegged as anything less than what true talent they were actually made of. The Nara were the most elite of the elite, and in the future Naniyori could only hope that he would come to be allied with one of them in his struggle against the world to bring a more fair order to things. Even now the village hidden in the clouds was partially kept in check by these outstanding clans that made up the village hidden in the leaf, and if any of them were ever to weaken their faith in the village even a little bit, then the possibilities for war between multiple villages would come again. In that glory naniyori would be capable of rising, and in doing so he would be capable of making himself one whose influence even extended into new villages and those who had long stood against the cloud, causing clans to branch and come to him at long last. The goal of Raikage was far too low for him, but he wished to make his clan proud, and simply by serving in missions that benefited the lightening country would never make him what he wished to be. That was why he needed fuel, fuel to throw on the fire and bring about what it was that would give all shinobi a purpose again. The hidden sand village had once considered it a wise decision, and Naniyori couldn't argue with those whose powers were as exceptional as theirs, whose fame in the last great war was well deserved. Naniyori had heard that they wind country was exceptionally powerful in their shinobi military force before the end, but like in the country of lightening they had become weak after the truces were forged by the hidden leaf. If they could only gain some powers, then they might rise to glory once more, and take back the world that all shinobi eagerly awaited, one in which they could carve their names into the flesh of their enemies, rather than into the stone mountainsides that the village of Konoha was so proud of. And first of all, naniyori needed to practice the jutsus of the village hidden in the leaf, so that he would be able to awaken even greater power and prove that he was beyond what they charged him as, calling him a lowly Genin when his prowess surpassed that of even some of the most elite ninja. It was his duty as a shinobi to make himself strong, and it was his duty as a man to see through his convictions until the end. Fe wshinobi could realize that in the pampered world that they were now living in and that was why it required a large blade, sharp blade to cut through the ignorant peace that resided on the land and stir the fires of war that were still fresh. Even if he had to do it by bringing about a new war, and abandoning his village, something that he loathed the idea of and thus was in no way ready to leap into action to perform, naniyori would cause the wars to spring forth again, and that required the power to be one of the kages, or even at the level of a kage without the respectful following. Naniyori wished for the respect of being one of the might however, and that meant that going about things the right way would be the only thing for him to do, for now at least. In time he might think of greater goals, but the world did not rally against a villain, and that was the reason that he would have to keep his mind and actions in check, while reminding himself as well that just because people came from different villages, it didn't necessarily mean that they were non respectable scum that should not have been forgiven. Even so a watch had to be put on, because as the terrain and regions changed with the people who lived within them, one could no longer see clearly what lay within the minds of the ones they served. It was best to wait it out while increasing your own strength, at your own pace..
