Shade dons the new garments quickly, choosing instead to pull the new slacks over the ruins of the old ones rather than risk being caught completely naked. Once again dressed in presentable attire, he resumes his seat to wait for Dusk to return. "Not my preferred colors, and their is no coat, but still better than what I was wearing and much better than nothing at all." To amuse himself, he places a finger against the shadows on the wall, causing them to ripple like oil on water. Pulling his finger away from the wall, the shadow clings to it seperating from the wall and forming a smoky gray rod, which he starts to mould and shape like a lump of clay.

Shadow jumping in next to the fire place. she see's that shades back is to her. She leans against the mantle, watching his interesting display.... Her eyes intent and memorizing what he was doing. Not one to be foolish, just act's so, people always take her for a idiot.
"You know that is an interesting ability to manipulate the shadows, and what is this grumbling about no coat? You didn't specify." she said, as she tossed a long light white trench at him. Knowing from his build and subtle reactions that he would catch it no problem. DD just continued to lean against the mantle. Her eyes intent with her stare, seeing why Fensa would choose this person as a companion if not a friend.
A soft warm smile crossing her face at this. She knew she would pay dearly for helping him now, giving him the anti-toxin as well taking him to were he needed to go. nothing went un noticed by Twilight in her own domain, though that would be later, much later after she got back. So much for her vacation. But she thought it is worth it, since Fensa will be staying behind in these walls. This last thought making her eyes darken considerably.

Without looking up, Shade catches the coat in his right hand. With his left, he holds up what he had been working on, a rose shifting in hue from a dull silver to a smoky black. He flicks it towards Dawn and it alters in the air into a butterfly of simular color. Flying about the room a few times it returns to the wall and assumes its normal appearance as nothing more than a shadow. "Beggars cannot be choosers, miss. To specify anything if specific would have been rude. As is watching people when you think they can't see you."

Raising both eyebrows almost too her hair line, a smile lightly curving her lips. "Don't give me that tripe. You knew the instant I came into the room, through the shadows. One doesn't work with ones own element and not know those things. And by far if I had to guess your older then me by a few years, no matter how old you look." She said in a slightly scathing but teasing voice.
Walking over to his side, she shoved a small leather bag at him. As a she lightly took a mental hand and touched his mind. Finding an image of two people, she yawned in a bored manner. "well it is time to take you were you need to go. It looks like Gatha huh? Nii-chan hates that place with a passion. Oh you might want to either shut your eyes or at least cover them with your hand. Otherwise you'll loose a piece of your soul." was all she replied. Waiting for him to do either as she shifted her dress into a warmer wool gown that had a high neck collar, and long sleeves that covered her hands.
Her eyes had become a soft light baby blue. The cat ears and tail disappeared. To any one who would be seeing her shortly she would appear as a normal woman with not outstanding attributes, except that she could appear and disappear at will. A cold tingle at the base of her neck let her know that Twilight would be waiting for her when she got back, causing a grim smile to cross her face making it a horrifying marble sculpture.

Location: At sea, somewhere between Qualosv and the Island of Gatha The night had passed by seemingly uneventful, so when Sionet woke up the next morning she looked out at the sea. IT had lost all of it's blue color and turned a deep smokey gray. Knowing that what ever would happen it would happen today. So not taking any chances at all, Sionet got up and put on her mens clothes. Assembling in their various places her daggers and knives. With a expert flip of her hair, she pinned the last two in place.
Her baggy shirt and pants this time were both a soft dove gray. She clipped her mace at her left hip like always, while on her right went her normal small sword. She looked over to the long clothed wrap set in the corner. "well your not gonna stare at me all day are you!" came the cold reply. Shaking her head she went over and picked up New moon. "No I could never leave you like that dearest love!" came her teasing reply.
*Ship Deck*
In the crows nest the lookout man noticed several shadows appearing against the storm clouds, and getting closer. "Ai captain Aizin there are a massive winged shadows coming quickly from the east, and no mistake they are heading right at us." was his bellow. This getting not only Aizin's attention but his first and second mates as well. Grabbing the telescope he lifts it to his eyes, and see there were more then 3 dozen horrid demons coming their way.
" by aphordite's left tit, not now, and why would they attack us?" he muttered to himself. As she placed it down on it's clip next to the wheel. "All of you on the deck release the sails to half mast. You back in the aft of the ship tied down some of that rigging, were gonna get hit and hard. Be prepared to defend this ship or loose you life. I will not tolerate cowards among my mind. You hide and I personally will feed your scrawny a** to the sea kelpies." HE bellowed with a smile that showed sharp white pointed teeth in his dark olive green skin.
*Below Deck*
Hearing the captain's bellow of orders, she grabbed new moon, and strapped him to her back, hilt over the left shoulder. Making him the only visible weapon she had one. though she didn't look like she could even wield that sword at all. The snatching up her ruck sack she placed it on her back over New Moon. "well let's get going. Oh ok." Was her somber reply. She was trained for battle but had never been in it. Out the door in a flash not realizing that two little sprites one of water and one of wind had appeared in the room. Vrondi the wind and Meliz the water her life long companions and butt savoirs.
She was soon up on deck, she appeared to the untrained eyes, every one but the captain, as a scrawny young boy, that could pass as a cabin boy. By the time she looked in the direction she could clearly make out at least half a dozen major Gargoyles, a few turned Sirens' thought male. Her eyes flashed dangerously as she ran towards the poop deck. Keeping herself out of Aizin's sight.
Reaching it, she stopped by the back mast and began to focus on her two elements. She concentrated both wind and water to her as she merged with both elements at once. It was draining her already but to save these people she would do it. Because behind the infantry came small Wyverns. All of the water type. Standing there with her arms hanging at her side, a pale swirling aura of blue and green covered her as she opened herself to her power and abilities
Aizin felt this shift of power coming from his ship. Not liking it, he half jogged to the rear of his tower. Seeing what looked like his cabin boy surrounded in a swirling aura radiating a small amount of power he scratched his head. "wait I don't have a cabin boy this trip." he muttered under his breath. Looking more closely as the rains started to fall softly in a light mist, he realized it was his ward doing something. Getting worried he turned only to be lurched sideways as the first of the enemies landed on the ship causing havoc.
Keeping her balance easily at the rocking of the ship, she brought her left hand up and crossed it up and over her chest resting it on her right shoulder. When this action was done she shot up several small gysers of water from the sea it's self, knocking the gargoyles that hadn't landed down to the seas bottom. And then controlling them to nail and disorient the Sirens to an extent. Her eyes practiced in reading the wind she would wait till the wyervns were closer before she released her wind. Which wouldn't be long now.

"Yes, but I would wager you have had power for more years than I." Standing up and quickly donning the coat, he walks over to stand in front of Dawn. "My soul has never been in question before, I assume most believe I no longer have one." He closes his eyes, nevertheless. "Whenever your ready."

Blinking a couple of times at everything he had said, DD let out a deep throaty laugh that was like water burbling over rocks in a stream. " I will let you know this, I am only 23 years of age. No lie, can't lie! I have only had my power since.... *fingers mouth thoughtfully* about the age of 9. When I was saved so to say. And as for a soul... you do have.... it is buried like mine beneath pain and sorrow." She replied in her valley girl air headed voice.
Grabbing him before he could reply she shadow stepped, only to reappear in a open area in Gatha Forest. The Scent of Roses and exotic spices preceding them rather strongly too. She let him go as her dress went back to it's white gravity defying gown. "Now shade two things, One you hurry and save your friend. but advice on that vial don't waste it, you never know it might come in handy later. And two the next time we meet, will probably be on a battle field, prepare to fight me, for what you believe in. I will not be nice and hold back because you Are FEN FEN's friend." Her tone for the first time dead serious as she looked up and into his eyes with a gaze that meant if she had to, she'd kill him.
Spinning around she glanced at the other's there. Her gaze landed on Xaiver first making her blue eyes sparkled with great amusement and interest. "Hmm a male dragon, rare, of age...... *evil smile* and what pretty eyes." she chortled as she then looked at Dark. A funny feeling in the pit of her stomach as she met this man's cold eyes. As strange images popped up in her head. She stepped back as the smell of fear eminated from her small body. Not knowing why this man was familiar, she felt a all together surge in her power.
Before she could stop it were there had been none before it spiked up there on a immense power, as she was suddenly from between shade and that man and clean across the glade flat against a massive tree. Her hands covering her left eye, as her power continued to surge higher and higher out of her control. Her body visibly shaking. Her tattoo's began to show on her pale Alabaster skin, their ancient and archaic meaning glowing faintly in a pale red. As she moved her left hand down and spread her right hand. IT revealed that her right pupil had slitted almost reptelain like, but the distinctive rings were there, and more pronounced then before, while the left eye was still that light baby blue.
Her voice shaking and cracking from the fear radiating from her, "Remember well what I said Shade. I wont hide anything from you on the field of battle. I will protect my Nii-chan Twilight!" as she shadow stepped back to the Crystal palace. she didn't head to her room, no she went into prison cell that had been warded and protected. This wasn't the first time this has happened except usually she was asleep and the nightmares triggered it. She let her disguise drop and her real form show through. But when her wings appeared they were 5 times as large as usual and dragged her to the ground, the crown of horns no her head larger.
Soon the power was ripping her body apart as she tried to suppress it. She felt her skin tearing and blood pouring out. As well as heard the wards and protections shattering around her, as the room couldn't contain it any more. It seeped into the palace having adverse effects on Twilight's lesser minion's. She knew her lady would be there soon enough to pass judgement. But her mind wonder who the hell was that man, and why he could envoke such fear and trigger her curse as she had come to call it.

Dark stares with interest at the area where Dusk had dissappeared, a cruelly delighted smile on his face. "So much fear inside one so powerful. You seem to have the knack of making some unusual friends, Shade. Though I wish she had stayed around longer. I could use a good meal after that battle. By the way, did you find what you were looking for? The girl doesn't have much time left."

Location: at sea Aizin had enough, he jumped the railing of his ship to the poop deck and marched up to his ward, just as the weyrvns attacked. HE watched as almost everything happened in slow motion. Sionet raised her right hand bringing it up and crossing across her chest to rest on her left shoulder. Wind slashed out wildly from all around the ship. Hitting the small dragons and knocking them back several yards.
Realizing that she wasn't alone she turned her head while still keeping her pose and looked at Captain Aizin. "You young lady are not to be here on the deck, now get below. And I have no clue what you think you are doing practicing dance moves in the middle of a battle either young woman. I didn't take you for daft." he barked the order. Looking away from him as she spoke in her soft quite voice. "I will not go below Captain. And if you must know, two things, I am not dancing but helping in my own way. Two these are twilight's minions and they are after me."
With that she brought both arms above her head and all of a sudden the wind died, the waters calmed. As she slowly lowered them to their original pose at her side. A thick massive fog rolled in completely covering the ship hiding temporarily from the monsters. She then turned looked at him and walked to the starboard side and flicked a hidden dagger from her sleeve and with a neat slice cut one of the ropes holding a row boat. "I think captain you reorganize you crew. I am leaving and drawing them from you." her voice still quite but it held power and authority now.
His eyes about bugging out of his head at what she just said and was doing. "NO I DON"T think so young miss. You will haul that spoiled noble a** down to your cabin and stay there. I MEAN NOW!" he said with his voice raised. Stopping in mid swing she turned on him so quickly and was right up next to him in a blink of an eye. "Look you little man. I WILL NOT AND YOU WILL CEASE TO ORDER ME AROUND." she bellowed at him. Her voice at a normal tone. IT held a massive amount of power that cowed him almost completely.
She was back at the row boat and slashed the second rope dropping it into the sea, climbing up on the railing she looked over her shoulder which now had a little water sprite on it, as did her right, but it was air. "You will continue on to Gatha and drop my stuff on the shore were I was supposed to go. And immediately head back and report. Be detailed, and make suret they understand that I gave you this order. *jumps down into the row boat begins rowing at a fast pace* I will survive this, but to protect you all i am drawing these beasty toys of That DAMNED she devil Twilight away that is final." Was all she said as she left the protective area of the fog she created. As well as feeling the drain of using not only her elemental powers in mass, but her voice as well.
It didn't take long to be spotted rowing the small skiff away from the bigger boat. Adn like she said, they left the ship alone and went after her. She could make out in the distance a gray strip that looked like Gatha Island. Knowing that the boat wouldn't reach the shore, she continued rowing a bit more before she let her wings out and was up in the air, flying as fast as her wings would let her. "Damn they'll catch up soon." she muttered as she pulled the short sword from hit's hidden sheath.

Twilight senses immediately that Shade is no longer confined, and has a good idea of why. Reaching out with her mind she starts to call to Dawn, but soon senses something is wrong. Standing up quickly, she vanishes, reappearing outside the warded door, she waits for the surge of power to recede.

Feeling as if her body was being tore apart at her seams, she feels Twilight's presence outside the door. "you might as well come in Great Mistress, you know this power doesn't effect you like the others." she said in a voice that was cracking from the pressure and pain. She pulled herself up onto her hands and knees. This action makes her cough up almost black blood on top of the bright red coming from the wounds all over her body..
At this Dawn Dusk smiles wryly as she sits back on her knees. Trying with all her might to get to a standing position. Her open wounds start to spurt blood as more are opened all over her. She refused to be seen by Twilight in a pathetic position of disarray on the floor from weakness.
Her wings were making her shoulder sag horrible and pulling her back wards. There was only about 3 feet of room in which Twilight could stand when she came in, because of the size of her wings. For they took up much of the confined space. She knew she was really in for it, even more so now that this strange power coming from her in massive waves not broke Twilight's wards on the room but shattered them beyond repair.
though she fought to repress it on her own DD was having massive problems. The tattoo's now fully in view were her armor didn't cover her, which was most of her body. The faint red glow was now a bright crimson blood glow. She wanted to scream as another torrent of the power ripped through her, DD now thankful she had always been asleep when this happened before.

"You released one of my favorite prisoners. It took quite a long time to acquire him." This is the first thing Twilight says as she enters the room. Her eyes narrow dangerously at the sight of Dawn in her current state."What brought this on? I'm sure you didn't release him in your sleep. He couldn't have caused this."

With a shake of her head at the sleep comment. "Nope, I have and will always do what I feel is right. I know I should be killed by you. But you still have Fensa. Any ways I returned him to do something that I am always doing... Protecting my most cherished thing. An innocent ended up poisoned by Leo's.....blade. I felt bad at that. Besides I 'was' in my down time on vacation., My time was mine to do with as I will." her voice still cracking as by sheer force she kept her self erect and looking Twilight in the eye, though her were seriously glazing over.
The power flow was starting ebb leaving her skin almost translucent. She wondered if Twilight was absorbing the power she was putting out. "any ways, it was a man..... *description of Dark insues* I have no clue why he invoked in me such fear, and memories that can't be mine. I haven't lived so long as that. Or why underneath it all was a feeling of companionship like from a distant time."her voice confused but not cracking as much. She started to get enough control that she was able to get rid of the horned crown on her brow.
With a small cough, more black blood came up. Showing Twilight that she was bleeding internally as well. But they both knew that as soon as she got herself under control that she would naturally regenrate. A useful gift that she got as a changeling that fateful night.

"Your lucky you got out of there quickly. The one you discribe is known as Dark, and he is supposed to be dead. Apparently this was triggered by his aura, he can cause your worst fear to rise to the surface, after which he will either bring it to life under his control, or feed on it. The more he consumes the stronger he becomes." Twilight places her hands on Dawns shoulders to draw off some power and to help her regenerate. Also to reinforce the wards on her memories. "And you just released his most dangerous accomplice. This has undone weeks of careful planning and manipulation. I don't even have a suitable punishment for that."

"I am aware of that my mistress. And I don't know how, but I know soon enough that I will fight him on the battle field. And I warned him that if I have too I will kill him. Though I now he wont be a push over, but at least he will be embarrassed if any one sees the stitching I did one both his hands... in neon pink silk in the shapes of butterfly, flowers and little hearts. Plain as day. *mischievous smile*" though her eyes were glazing farther, she could feel the wounds on her body began to heal.
Though it would take a good night sleep, as well as at least a day to heal the internal wounds and bleeding. She finally felt able to put her wings away and go back to one of her other forms. As she completed the change she felt the darkness consume her, she made herself fall backwards as not to bloody up Twilight as she collapsed towards the floor, muttering about her bed and were such memories could of come from.
