Why are you so intent on chasing someone who's so clearly bad news, especially when they are clearly a repeat of a pattern from your past? Before you dive into this disaster, examine your motives -- your real motives.

That horoscope scares me. Especially considering the repeat thing. But I dont base my life on horoscope readings. I dont think.

picked out my suit for prom. its flamingo pink. ill have pics in like three weeks. when prom is over. may 20ths the day. my wrists are hurting so.

My only comment on the gas prices in this:
"I've been driving for one month. Since I've started driving gas prices have gone up $0.65. When my mother started driving in 1974, gas was $0.65 a gallon."
I think that's just ******** up.
I don't care who's fault it is either.
Someone needs to fix it.

20% is actually on the lower end of the spectrum. I personally pay closer to 25%, but it goes up to 28-30% for some people. Funny how we tax people differently, but we're all supposed to be "the same."

Honestly, I do believe that taxing the corporations is the best possible solution, but first we'd have to eliminate the various tax law loopholes that let companies avoid taxes like the plague. No more of this "based in the Bahamas" crap. If you do business in the US, you're held accountable as if you're based in the US. Sure, that'd probably scare/force some foreign companies to stop importing their products into the US, but the way I see it, they'll cut their own revenue if they do that. That's the price you pay if you want our business. US companies hopefully would see no benefit to moving oversees for tax breaks, as it wouldn't matter in the end. Note how I'm not saying to drastically raise taxes for every corporation, just tax everyone equally independent of location.

It's interesting when you actually read up on US foreign trade laws. Free trade has to be one of the largest oxymorons in modern existence.

I cannot comprehend it.

A lot of people say they love me right now.

Four. Hmm.

I deleted a couple posts on the links list, because the links suggested got added to the first page already. Although it still says there are 2 pages on the thread, there is really one. Dumb topic...

I feel like bouncing off the walls right now. Way too much energy. But I am actually getting homework/studying done at the same time as Gaia. Horray for multitasking.

And rising gas prices suck, because I have to drive to school (too far away for bicycle). My car is pretty efficient (around 30 mpg), but I would get a hybrid if I could afford to just lay down some money for a car. My friend has a hybrid (don't know the model though) and she gets really good gas mileage.

WHY DID YOU NOT GIVE YOUR ITEMS TO MEEEEE???

Yeah, I don't think I'd need them. I forgot to donate this month. I've been donating since... like... I joined. And here I forget. I think I might be done with Gaia.

Yeah, I've been bored with Gaia for a while. But it's nice to have around.

People come and go. It's the nature of online communities. I'm honestly surprised that I've lasted this long.

Hm, if anymore of you leave, give your pretty items to your favorite sena~

So I was acclaimed to be a brilliant writer today, with a deep insight into my term paper novel that my teacher had never seen before.

This would be true if:
I wrote and spoke coherent sentances
I had actually read all of the book beyond the first 97 pages out of 309
If I had at least sparknoted it before I wrote my outline

So basically, I don't really know what my book's plotline is. I also can write a brilliant essay spewing big words.

Ken Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Not that it isn't an interesting read, just made horribly less-so when I have to prove something about it.

Heh, if you think that's bad...

I did an entire in depth literary analysis of Tom Wolfe, where I was supposed to read at least four of his books, then write a 12 page paper describing his style and literary criticisms. The only problem was that I never even opened one of his books. Well, I did, but I didn't read anything other than the summary. For quotes, I just randomly picks things that sounded good. Turns out I got an A on the project, and it helped me get into Reed College when I applied.

Nice. I don't like Reed. It just doesn't look like somewhere I want to go. People scream at me to look into Ivy Leagues (they say I have the potential), but all I really want to do is go to a nice Liberal Arts college and read the classics without having to worry about job security.

Lewis & Clark is a nice college. I believe it's St. John's that designed their entire curriculum after the classics. And yeah, Reed wasn't the best fit for me, so I didn't accept the offer.
