Lacuna laughed and looked down at Lena.
"Now.. I can't dance to save my life, so no laughing", she said as she began to dance a little awkwardly to the music playing.

Mikey's eyes widdened slightly in surprize at Quinn's very large problem, he thought for a moment before saying "Wow.... that's, just... wow...... are you going to help them pay... better yet, to you have the money to help them pay...?" Lena smile to Lacuna and said "Eh... no worries.... I wouldn't laugh....." she slowly began to move along with the music.

Merryn shimmied past Mikey and took up Lena's old spot. Humming gently to herself she got out a glass and filled it with club soda, making herself an italian soda. There's so much hidden pain in this room. Looking around she closed her mouth. I shouldn't do that again.
So excited to get to dance with her again Larry jumped in joy. Heh, I can't help it. It isn't everyday someone so lovely actually talks to me. Chewing on his bottom lip he continued. It really isn't everyday I see someone so lovely. Leading her to the main floor again he brushed past a group of people and pulled her closer.

Ophelia almost turned JAk down, again, but she looked up at Liam and felt a mean streak hit her.
"It has been, hasn't it?"
She took Jak's hand and let him pull her up.
"I'd love to dance, thank you."
Mitsuru watched them walk off, and then back at Liam, then laughed.
"My friend, that would be what we call 'dissed and dismissed'. What the hell did you do to her? Spit on one of her books?"

Rhoslyn incline her head, acknowledging Aristas point. "Then i apologize most sincerely. There was a slight blood drinker feel to you, that's all." She toyed with one of her tasteful gold bracelets. "I don't believe i've encountered any waternymphs before. they're mostly shy creatures."
Harbird gave Xil's hand a squeeze and smiled as he saw his other acquaintances and friends pairing off to dance and have fun. "So, shall we make that attempt to demolish this place through bad dancing?"

Lacuna glanced and Jakkin and Phelia dancing. She closed her eyes trying not to focus on it, pretending not to be bothered by it. Lacuna tried to focus on Lena and just having a good time. She poked Lena and smiled trying to get her mind off of it.
"It can't be any worse then bartending to everyone can it?", she winked and laughed a bit.

Arista rolled her eyes and rested against the back of the seat. Mostly, but not in my mother's family. Her mother...the full waternymph...couldn't keep her hands off my grandfather... she muttered, rather disgusted with the whole thing. Shy was something she most certainly was not. And my mother is a whore!
Liam watched Phelia take Jak's hand, but jsut sort of looked tot he ground, letting out a laugh as Mitsuru spoke. Yeah...That is, isn't it... he said shyly before looking to the boy. I suppose I deserved it though... he said, nodding to himself. I'm...not quite sure what I did...actually... he said softly, sighing.

Akki slipped into his arms easily, her eyes sparkling up at him. he called me lovely....he thinks I'm pretty!
"Why wouldnt I talk to you? Yoou're nice"
Jak led Ophelia to the dancefloor, taking her lightly into his arms.
"My name is Jakkin, and you are the lovely Ophelia." he smiled down at her.

Quinn shook his head at Mikey, his head still in his hands. He slowly looked up at him, trying to focus his eyes. "I can't help them pay, I don't have any money. I'm homeless, and they know it, and they still want me to help them pay! I don't understand my brothers!!" when he finished speaking, he took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He knew his whole family hated him, he wasn't what they'd wanted, but his brothers wanted his money when he didn't have any?? He didn't think they would sink to that.

Lena giggled a bit and smiled as she said "It's not so bad..... and, it could be worse... at least I have Mikey to dump it off on...." Mikey let out a sigh and smiled slightly to Quinn as he said "Well... if you can keep them at bay for at least a couple days.... I might be able to help ya out.... only if you want me to, that is..." he really wanted to help Quinn, but he didn't want to make him feel like a charity case either.

Mitsuru stuck out a foot and pushed a chair out for Liam, closing his manga.
"It takes a lot to get Phelia to the freezing point, bro, what did you do?"

Holding her Larry kept trying to think of words. Any words. Well, I tend to be a geek. And sometimes I can't stand it when people goof off while we're trying to work...
Merryn couldn't help it. Tapping Quinn on the shoulder she smiled as nice as she could. I don't know your situation or anything but we have a room in our house. It's big and really lovely. I'm sure we could work it out so that you live rent free.

Lacuna spinned herself one final time and breathed heavily.
"I'm out of shape, or so it seems.", she said with a small pant. She held Lena's hand and pulled her back out of the crowd and back over to Canti.
"Sorry about stealing her", she said teasingly and poked Lena.
Lacuna sighed with one eye focused on Jak and Phelia. Lacuna smirked at 'Ryn who was behind the counter and gestured to Jak and Phelia, rolling her eyes.
