Ah...he chuckled, continuing to stroke her cheek. Are you tired at all, love? He noted it was very dark outside, and lokoed to her with a sweet smile.

"a little..." she muttered, nodding slightly. She snuggled up closer to him, wrapping an arm around his waist.

Shinji laughed soflty, nodding agianst Lena's shoulder. Me too...he whispered, puling her into his arms close to his chest, his heartbeat against her shoulder.

Lena let out a small yawn and nuzzled Shinji's shoulder, letting her eyes fall softly shut.

Lena shifted, snuggling up closer to Shinji as she let out a yawn, not yet opening her eyes.

Shinji was still asleep, his arm around Lena, his face sort of smushed against his arm. He shifted as Lena moved closer, but didn't stirr other than that.

Shinji shifted again in his sleep, a soft laugh escaping his lips, summoned from his dreams.

Lena opened her eyes and looked up slightly, watching him as he slept, and wondering what he'd laughed about.

Almost as if he could feel her eyes on him, Shinji whimpered softly and opened his eyes, which were rather bloodshot for someone who slept so deep through the night. A smiled crossed his face once more and he shifted to kiss Lena's lips tenderly.

Lena kept her lips against Shinji's a moment before pulling away to ask "Are you alright, love..?" she shifted, moving a hand to brush his cheek gently.

Shinji smiled and wrapped tighter around Lena, as if trying to keep warm. I'm fine, babe...he said softly, nuzzling to her shoulder, planting kisses over it. Why do you ask?

Are they? He laughed softly and snuggled closer to Lena. Must just be tired still...he yawned, rubbing them before looking to Lena again. Did you sleep well, love? He asked, his voice scratchy some.
