zysac im not sure what out of the new list i will put into my army, right now my fav new unit is sniper drones. and i will probably replace my monat brodside with some. I might find room for a Sniper Drone squad too. My heavy support will probally consist of a unit of broardsides, a unit of sniper drones and a hammerhead.

So, the Tau basically got a whole lot better right? Why? I mean, it sounds like everything they have either stayed the same or got better. I play as them It seems like they're plenty good already. Sure, they are a bit static and it's good for them to get new units, but it doesn't seem like they need to be strictly better.

I'm planning on putting all my current tau stuff up on eBay pretty soon, and this is what i plan on my new list being like, just wanted some feedback from y'all
New Battle Force:
Crisis
3 Stealth
Marker Drone
12 Fire Warriors
12 Kroot
Devilfish
4 Gun Drones
2 Broadsides
2 Sniper Teams
Hammerhead
I might get some more fire warriors in place of a broadside.
Just wondering what you guys think.

here is the list i am thinking of making right now (some things will be changed when the new codex comes out but for now this is it
2 HQ crisis

fusion blaster
shield generator
hard wired multi tracker
2 crisis

6 stealth
1 pathfinder team
2-12 man squads of wariors in devilfish
3 hammerhead
2-6 man teams of gun drones
it equils out to around 2000pts

Okay. Ive gotten the March White Dwarf(even before the subscribers) and heres whats going down. Stealth suits will be plastic & you get 3(but no oysters for me. nobody showed me any spures). Neutron blaster is a S5 AP3 12" assult gun. The cylic ion blaster is S3 Ap4 18" Assult 5 with a roll of 6 to wound making it ap1. So when you shoot a termi with it. You can either craze it or smack it through and through

Just wondering what you guys think. I'd reccomend dropping a broadside, probably even both unless you plan on going up against an armoured column all the time. Drones aren't real great unless you have a lot of them, unless they changed that Ld4 rule. Get more fire warrirors ( you might want to ditch the devilfish unless you have a crucial task for it) and maybe get another crisis or two.

It's REALLY mobile, got a specific strategy for it?

It's REALLY mobile, got a specific strategy for it? nope, depending on what i do were it equils out to anywere from 1900-2100. and yes it is very very moble. i really like going up close and personal so my HQ's are my fav. i put 6 gun drones in front of them and they screen my HQ from shots untill he can take out what hes after. i usually team up both my HQs and they can usually take out a tyrant or fex in a single turn or at least bring it down to one wound(6 ap2 or better shots hitting on a 2 and wounding on a 3 or better means big damage) i always infiltrate my stealths and use them to bait a unit in a specific direction. since my army moves fast i can outrun anything slow so i always concentrate on the fast things first. and most importantly are my crazy tau wriors...ive go to be the only person who assults with my tau...in fact my tau are known all around my area for that habbit...it amuses me because they cant shoot worth crap but always win assult(6 wariors vs 5 dire avengers....my wariors won wihtought a single wound taken.......)the markerlights i use for the tanks (a large blast template hitting on a 2+ really helps
