Oh sit down gimpy. *He chuckles at Thanatos's appearance as he get's slammed by his kitten. He rubs his jaw and catches her hand after. He pulls her close with a grin.* Naughty girls who hit their husbands should be punished...*He spins her around, so his front is to her back and attempts to bite into her neck.*

*Than watched Kai for a moment. He wasn't going to be soft this time around. As soon as Apollo tries to bite Kai, he raises his hand, extends his index finger, and fires a thin beam right at Apollo's forehead. It was just compressed energy made to feel like a hard punch when it hit, hopefully throwing him off enough to make him back off* Not this time Apollo-kun

*As kitten hits his foot he growls and looks down. Her wrist hits him in the forehead and he bends back. He watches as Thanatos's beam goes past over head and sighs. He stands back up still holding kitten's wrists.* Two on one ? Now that's no fun. *He chuckles and drums his fingers over kit's pressure points. He was a shang master and knew how to hit, where to hit and went to hit.* So kit, need people to help you now ? When I knew you, you would fight on your own and win I might add.

*He snorts and moves his hand behind his back. He hadn't had enough time to perfect the technique he had in store for Apollo, so he was going to have to field test it right now. As he spoke his hand went to work* Apollo-kun I'm not fighting for Kaiori-san.... I have a different reason for fighting you. Regardless..... cowardice is your expertise isn't it..... *He slams his foot into the ground and a shadow wall forms behind Apollo. The wall was merely meant to keep Apollo from moving while Kai made her attack. Than had to focus on his technique*

*kaiori pants and twists in his grip, she spins her wrist around the wrong way and tries to slam her elbow into his chest, she also had learned from the shang while in the temple*

*Apollo laughs, and shakes his head at Thanatos.* If you do not fight for her sake ? You fight for yourself, because you hate me for other reasons. If you only think of yourself... what good are you to her !? *He takes the hit in the gut and ducks to the side. His gold magic spills over him and kaiori and let them pass right through the side wall into the garden.* More space for a Shang fight right sweetling ? Why don't you just come with me ? I swear no more tricks...I understand now. I must win your heart all over again, but I will do anything.

*He narrowed his eye at Apollo. That sort of talk had gotten to him before.... but Than had developed some different beliefs in the time since* That supposed to disuade me from attacking you? *He watched the two fade out to the garden and follows, though by way of windows really. For now he stayed off to the side, partly hidden while he still gathered energy for this spell. it would take time to gather the energy then focus it in the way he needed for it to work*

*Apollo chuckles and pulls her close. He takes the hits in the chest and winces every single time.*... I won't let you stay here...Not with all these fools who don't understand how wonderful you are. *He gives her a weak smile as he builds up power for something.*

*Than gathered his power as fast as he can. While doing so he watches Apollo.... remembering everything that had happened. Doing so reminded him of why he despised Apollo so much. He used methods that he loathed to get to Kaiori. Mind wiping, memory altering, physical binding, and any deceiving words he could. The white energy in Than's hand flashes. His next thoughts turned to the child he had conceived with Kaiori. The circumstances of the Apollo and Kaiori's child had haunted him because of their similarity to his own conception. He knew what it was like to be a child born for a purpose. An unwilling mother who, in the first place, would rather have not had the child, and a father who wanted nothing more than to raise him to be another version of the father. He knew the pain it meant to be such a child, to really have no choice in their own existence. Maybe Kaiori's child would have been different, with her for a mother...... but that pain would still linger somewhere in the child's mind if they ever knew the truth. On top of all that, the child was now gone. Than despised Apollo.... for doing nearly the same things to Kai as Mastema had done to his mother* It's you who needs to learn a new path Apollo-kun! *his anger boiling over, he lunged at Apollo, tried to grab his shoulder with his free hand, and shove the white energy into his back. If successful, a symbol similar to the one on Than's back would be burned into his skin. The energy was ustable, of chaotic nature. Than used some of his own soul energy so that it would attack Apollo's soul directly. While also having the potential to inflict massive pain, it was meant to destabilize Apollo's energy and secondly to make him lose control of his shapeshifting power. In short, it was supposed to make Apollo lose control of himself from the inside out*

*Apollo uses the magic he was building to cover kaiori in a shield. He clamps his mouth over her's in his last kiss. Blood flows from his mouth into her's as he is hit. He slumps forwards as his back is fried and his soul slowly lost. He mutters his last haunting words " I..love..you.." as he dies. What little is left of him falls to the ground and is dragged into a swirling portal by wolves, which snarl all the way.* (( Well you dudes might not see me for sometime now. I'll see what happens.))

*Than watches the effect of his attack. He gasps once when Apollo doesn't start morphing beyond his control but is instead just seemingly burned from his soul*....... *Than's breath becomes erratic for a moment. He hadn't wanted to kill Apollo. No matter how much he despised someone... he never saw death as a resolve. He trembles a bit and backs up when Apollo is dragged away. The scary thing to Than was the fact.... that Apollo's death was enjoyable to him..... and he didn't know why*......I......

*kaiori stands there...her eyes clouded and hazed...her arms up as if still still held him...blood on her hands...blood in her mouth..blood rings her lips...she crumples..inside and out she crumples....the ring..the ring she had tried so hard to get off...slides off her finger like water with the death of her "mate"....the sky clouds and it starts to storm..kaiori sits there hands at her sides and eyes looking to the sky...the rain washes the blood from her lips*
