Gah. I'm glad Naruto's taking the backseat while Itachi and Sasuke share the shotgun (I just got the mental image stuck ._.), and Sakura and Kakashi finally get some spotlight as well.
Just praying Kishi doesn't kill any T7 members off. I'd be devastated.

Scratch that, the raw is out. I don't know where people heard there wasn't going to be a chapter this week.
Was the chapter confused with the episode? Because I know the new episode of Shippuuden isn't going to come out until next year... maybe Kishimoto changed his mind?
Personally, I don't think it makes much sense to bring the chapter out right after New Years, seeing as that's such a big time for the Japanese.

The chapters are out in OneManga. But they're in Chinese, so I don't know what they're saying. But I think that Sasuke's gone off his rocker, looking at his expression in one of the panels.
I'm just saying.
I don't think Itachi's going to die too soon, though. My theory is that this arc will go on for about 10+ chapters, but end in almost-success for Sasuke.
On a side note, WTF. I really REALLY thought Sasuke's shirt was a dark color.
EDIT: INCONSISTENCY! The chapter cover has Sasuke's shirt in light blue, but in the chapter, his shirt is STILL shaded black. WTF, Kishi? O.o

O.o HOLY CRAP YES! gonk Sasuke scared meeee. ;__; And they don't say much. Itachi repeats himself from before, Sasuke comments on him using the same genjutsu, and wants to ask him something before he kills him. And it's just a thought... but maybe Kishimoto didn't like the fact that the animators changes Sasuke's shirt to white? ... I highly doubt it, but it's the only reason I could come up with when Sasuke's shirt is the same color it was before. >>;; On another note, I heard the reason this chapter is out earlier is because one of the magazines it runs in (I believe it was a chinese one) released it. Like... it's not actually released in Japan yet.... I think. So... even though the chapter is out now, there's still going to be a gap come the first week of the new year.

I'm quite skeptical, though. I want to see the next chapter to confirm it. It took Sasuke about 8 chapters to defeat Deidara. I wonder if he can actually beat Itachi in just one.

Anyway, I was re-reading the chapter... and is there a reason there's the word 'fox' behind Itachi's chair?
I didn't want to jump to conclusions, so I thought that it had something to do with fire, since fox's are usually associated with fire and the Uchiha clan is known for it's fire techniques. But what if it meant something else...?
(I would add the little swirls around the kanji look like tails, but I only counted eight, so nevermind that. xD; )
