I'm currently learning bari.
It's the first instrument I've ever played, and I love it so. However, I think I should have gone with tenor simply because the bari is so huge. When I sit down, it's as tall as I am. It's so sad.

I love playing subtones on the tenor sax! also if your first chair in jazz you get alot of solos!

I've played alto for three years, bari for one year and tenor for about 2weeks. (For a show) I'm pretty good if i say so my self.

You ain't kiddin'!My section leader- who's a drummajor this year, but I still consider him to me my section leader, because the current section leader actually plays bassooon, and only plays tenor sax for marching- is first tenor in the jazz band. I go to everywhere they perform, if I can. If it's during school, obviously I can't go. But...He had a ton of solos. And he sounds awesome. Did I mention he was hot?

I play Alto, Tenor , and Bari sax
I march with the alto or tenor whatever im needed on and i play bari in concert band and jazz...I had an awsome bari solo at my last jazz concert.

I play alto, tenor and bari sax, but I don't march with either of them... I march with my brass instrument. I've been playing alto for two years, tenor for a year and a half, and bari for one. I have some sort of gift for picking up an instrument and learning how to play it in about a week...
