And soon a 1000! By then we'll probably rule the world.

I've had a computer crash on me before. I had this story that was like 54 pages long get utterly destroyed. Two years of work, down the drain. On the bright side, I got to re-write it... four times. And while on this trip I decided that I'd never write that one again. Why? 'Cause it was stupid, childish, and I have no decent way of putting more than half of the ideas that I came up with for it. So no more writing it for me. I have more interesting stories to write. Like my new one. Which I still need to look up stuff for, dammit.

Ouch...yeah, the longest one I had was probably only around 20-25 pages. I guess it is nice though. I hadn't been working on them at all...and now I can start fresh. Most of my stories I started when I was just finishing elementary or just starting junior high.

Okay, so originally I was gonna wait till The Historian was on sale to get it at the book store, but pops sent it to me. So today I'm going over one of the many coupons I get from Borders. 40% off one of the selected bestseller books on the list... and there's The Historian. I laughed so hard, cause I knew I was supposed to wait to buy it. But I suppose pops got it cheeper then that with his discounts. Still, so funny.

Well, I've had that happen to me before too. The good thing for me, though, was that I always needed to go over them and add things but I was too lazy. When I had to rewrite them, it gave me a chance to do that.

So. Anyone wanna hear about what happened to me the day before yesterday? If you don't, I suggest stoping reading this post. Right now. It all started to go wrong when weaccidentally went to Canada. (It was the evening, but still when all of the annoyingness started.) We were trying to see Niagara Falls from the U.S. side, but took a wrong turn. So we just went to see it on the Canadian side. Then, when we tried to come back, the people at the gates or whatever wante dto check my mom's documents, which she didn't have. So we had to go upstairs in the building and wait while they looked her up. Took maybe forty-five minutes of doing absolutely nothing. When we finally got let out, we decided to see Niagara Falls at night from the U.S. side. It wasn't such a great view. Then we got on the freeway to get to a smaller city to spend the night. We stoped at Dunkirk and went into some inn to find out if hey had any rooms available. They didn't, so we went out to where mom had stopped the car and was waiting for us. When she tried to start the car... it wouldn't start. So we called the tow truck and the person jump-started the battery, and the car went. We set off for Erie, because that was the closest place where there was a car dealership for my mom's car. We needed the battery changed, and it only takes batteries from that brand. Plus the car's still under warranty, so it was free. On the way to Erie, the indicator dials kept going down to zero then back to normal. So, so creepy. I couldn't relax, the entire drive. Keep in mind this was like 1 in the morning. Three miles short of Erie, the car started beeping and we pulled off the freeway and went to a nearby Travelodge. We called another tow truck in the morning, and got it towed to the dealership and they fixed it. The end to my nere-wracking few hours. So not the best day ever. I knew that damn car wouldn't last this long of a trip, even if it is only three years old.

Niagra Falls wasn't that great? And you said you saw it at night too...I thought waterfalls were supposed to be nice but I guess I'm mistaken. *shrugs*
But anyway, I hate it when the batteries of the car die. We left our lights on while away all day at a festival type thing (just me and my mom) and by the time we got back to the car it was pretty much midnight. We were so tired so when the car wouldn't start my mom went " stressed " and I ended up snoring away. She went to look for someone to help us and I woke up just as they were leaving. I felt kinda bad just sleeping while she was out running around...Well what's done is done, and she didn't ask me (what a bad daughter).

Niagara Falls was nice. But not from New York. It's hardly visible. Mostly just mist and the river. Thagt's the first time I've ever had a car battery battery die on us. No, wait. I take that back. One time me and my sister went camping with my friend and her father, and we left the doors open all day for two days straight, and one time when we were leaving the beach, the car wouldn't start. Someone was able to fix it. Somehow. *Wasn't paying attention at all* ...I have an excuse. I was ten, and had no attention span, and it wasn't very interesting to me. Yeah, I'll shut up now.

..I believe my boredness has just been proven. I just went through the entire memberlist and added up all the donation amounts. In total, with entry fees, we've gotten 9,019 gold in the guild account. Give or take five hundred or so for accidents with pressing the buttons. All that gold, and it';s completely useless. LHL figured we'd have more, but I guess we don't. Not a ig deal, seeing as we have nothing to do with it right now.

I've been wondering how the guild benefits from the donations and gold. Is it just to raise the value of the guild or what?

Right now, it's for nothing. If you've noticed in the Captain's Guild, people always ask about it. They're going to make something that you'll be able to use the gold for, but for now it just sits there. Annoying, but true. We just have to be patient, then we'll be able to use it. Somehow.

Anyone ever been to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago? It was sooo cool. They have Pacific white-sided dolphins, baluga whales, a sea lion, sea otters, and all these cool fish exhibits. We also went to the show they have with the dolphins, and it was awesome. Reminded me of why I wanted to be a dolphin trainer (I'm sure they have an official name, but that's what I always called it) when I was little. Though before the show there was this trivia thing for the littler kids and the first girl who went up asked to be questioned about dolphins. The question was: "What ocean do the Pacific white-sided dolphins come from? A, the Atlantic. B, the Pacific. Or C, Lake Michigan." She answered A. And kept with that answer. Finally, the person asking the question said, "Okay, let me put it like this. A, the Pacific. B, the Pacific. Or C, the Pacific." So she chose C. Hoo boy, she's a smart one. At the gift shop, I got a key chain with a dolphin on it. Then almost lost it when I left it on the table at the restaurant we ate at. (Now everyone notice how I'm not complaining. I'm purposely leavin out the bad parts of the day. Since I don't want to remember them anyway.) At some point during the day, I also realized that Stargate has similarities to the series Animorphs. Mostly because of the evil parasite things that take over people, and want to take over the world/universe. I don't know why I was thinking about Animorphs. I just was, for no real reason. I haven't thought about Animorphs for a long time. I'll shut up now.

NI, good news. If you go to the guild home, you'll see...

[Forum Type|Private] [Total Users|614] [Total Posts|9324] [Entry Fee|1] [Guild Account|14461]

The guild account is how much gold is in the guild. You didn't need to go through that huge list... xp
