Even though Trei's spin would dislodge a good deal of the blade from it's angle, seeing as he's spinning away from the "pressure" instead of into, the dragging of the blade isn't QUITE as bad as it could be; however, there's no denying that something is wrong now.

As he turns, his eyes register something in his opponent's hand; rather than try and outmaneuver it, the young man just keeps his leg tucked and shifts his centre of gravity, his body falling into a roll backwards across the ground and away from the Bobcat. Seems like a good enough idea, right?

Unfortunately, before the young man can regain his feet, his eyes alight on the smears of blood that mark out his roll's path. Followed by the crimson stain covering the feline's dagger. Followed by a sudden realization of just what that wet feeling on his back is...

Right about here is where it would become difficult for the bobcat to notice much of anything, as he pops next to Trei and delievers a lightning fast barrage of slashes with both weapons. Each wound that struck would be meant by a twist and a flick, gorging out as much of the other man as possible.

**Picking up from the interrupt**
Thanks to a sudden violent onslaught, the wave of dark psyche that is the Blood Elemental is ushered into control much faster than it probably should have been; And it truly pays no heed to the slashes that soon leave it's skin and clothing holed to hell and back. Rather, it meets the slashes with a rather unique approach.

The approach is simple... from all over the creature's body burst spikes of blood, each one about two feet long, razor sharp, and harder than steel. Since Jans' word-lock was in place, they can not be launched from the body as an attack; however, the blood elemental can easily alter his body structure without breaking the "law."

The Harbinger stepped into the arena, its mere steps causing booms like cannons and shaking the arena. It was pretty much impossible to not notice it.

The black armor glinted in the sun as the right gauntlet came up and grabbed the lance off of its back, where several other weapons were located.

The seven symbols on the armor(chest-piece, gauntlets, greaves, pauldrons) ominously pulsed one time simultaneously as the lance came forward, fully extended with one hand, seemingly exerting no effort at all holding the massive weapon.

The mere presence, stance, and look of the armor was a challenge.

A face peeked over the arena walls to the monolith of armor, ashen locks falling in front of his most peculiar eyes. He smiled as he looked over the creature, his voice making the whole ominous ghostly beckon to drag him Outside so as to not interupt Jans vs Trei.

The man in the red jacket...

He sat in a dark corner of the stands, the only light being the 'red cherry' at the tip of his lit cigarette and angy glare that might bounce off of his sunglasses. He seemed... Well... Drunk. A nearly depleted bottle of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey in his gloved hand. He took a swig as he had been doing for what was clearly a while now, and the creeping effects of this smooth whiskey apparently was beginning to affect his state of mind. The brown filter of his cigarette was barely kept by his thin lips, and his eyes were hidden behind dark sunglasses. What was he doing here? Well, who knows, he was just simlply here.

The man wore his usual attire, a reddish tinged rough biker jacket that could take a beating, old dark jeans and scuffed boots. He was armed, though all of his weapons at the moment were concealed. His pink & red hair was pushed behind his ears for the most part, a few rebellious strands falling at the side of his face and a few in front of his eyes. He slid the gloved index and middle fingers of his left hand around the slim cancer stick in his mouth, removing it, smoke soon wafting through the air out of his nostrils.

Watching would be his pasttime tonight, it seemed.

((Ooooh, that is sneaky. xD I like it.))

The bobcat flicks off the tips of the spears that come closet to him with the dagger and pops back. The short spear disappears, replaced by another dagger.

"Interesting ability you have there, too bad you're not there to experience it huh? Mad as a hatter you are."

He tosses his left handed dagger at the blood golem with pinpoint accuracy. Then the right handed dagger, then the left again.

Wha?

He was creating daggers in each hand, then using his own strength and speed to throw them in a a flurry of steel. Another bending of the rules, which seemed to be the name of the game.

The thing never turns... yet, as the barrage of knives begins, it suddenly bursts to the left. You see, it's own blood is coating the daggers; almost as if a part of itself was those few feet away. And why wouldn't it notice part of itself?

Still running, one blood-shot eye glaring at it's enigmat "friend", the creature sucks back in the spikes that stick from it's shell, at the same time closing all the openings Jans has made on it's body. In the meantime, the streams of blood all over the ground begin to worm towards Jans, the first of them touching his boot even as the elemental performs a very Trei-esque slide turn and charges in, forming gauntlets of blood on each hand that A) are twice as hard and tough as the spikes were, since the spikes obviously couldn't stand up to the duress of Jans' attacks, and B) cover his fingers with deadly sharp talons... any dagger that hits will find itself sealed within his shell, trapped by the pressure of the elemental's own blood (not to mention giving him one hell of a pin-cushion look).

The bobcat makes a series of back flips and pops, moving away from his opponent. The beast was a good partner, for sure, but it was not what he was here to test. Still, one must cope with what one must cope.

A quarterstaff appears in his hands and he crouches in a defensive stance.

The grace of these motions is lost on the berserk Creature, as it ignores the hops and flips and magickally-spawning weapons, and simply charges on. As it does, spiderwebs of cracks appear all across it's body, and from said crevices blood begins to well in razor-thin lines. As he continues in his mad dash, the blood spreads across his body in a thin sheath, forming a paper-thin layer of red across the outside of his body...

As he nears the feline, he draws his right arm back, revealing that the talons have grown slightly longer; And then, silently, he strikes, his entire body lurchng forward with admirable speed in a forward strike towards the cat's shoulder...

Without a blink the bobcat intercepts the arm with his staff, and in the process shocks the living ******** out of the creature. As the blood creature attacked it encountered the man’s defensive aura, sending several thousands volts into his opponent. It wouldn’t be enough to cause total cellular death, but the shot would likely kill a whole bunch of blood cells and hopefully wake Trei back up. Either way, the bobcat pops away again and sets himself behind the creature.

It all unfolds according to Jans' plan; except, I'm afraid, for two... minor details. Take, for instance, Trei's stepping into the Aura... while it's true that the volts would be delivered, they would be delivered to the sheathe of red that is covering his body, which in turn conducts and grounds the electricity before it can ever pass through the body and into the internal bloodstream. Secondly, Trei performs a follow-swipe even as the first strike is blocked; a horizontal sweep that, if it hits, runs the risk of disemboweling his opponent.

Atthe same time, deep within the creature's psyche, Trei is beginning to perceive what is happening; he sees the power that the dark psyche weilds, feels a second strength flowing deeper still than that. Unfortunately, though, he is incapable of becoming more than a spectator for the moment; should he try to re-assert his dominance, the dark psyche will probably swallow him whole...

But of course, the cat was gone, though his smile may remain.

He pops again, disappearing and reappearing without pause from Trei's side to Trei's back. He would drub the beast across the head and disappear again.

This time, he does not reappear on the ground, but crouched motionless in the air above the blood elemental.

"Nature has ordained that certain seeds require assistance to fulfil their destiny. Are you in there Trei m'boy? Remember that your knife is necessary, but not sufficient. Always collect what's useful. Reject only your ignorance and you might survive. Though speaking of knives, I believe you already have what you need to pull your way out of there..."

With a flick of his tail and a smile, the bobcat creates a myriad of floating spiked balls around the arena and ports back in front of Trei, though a good ways away and with several of the mines between the two. Good times for sheepies!

The creature only looks at Jans, across the field of spikey things. If Jans looks closely, he'd probably note that the layer of blood atop the being's body has suddenly gotten pretty damn shiny... However, the creature gives the cat no time to put on his thinking cap, as it charges forward in it's usual berserk manner, the Talons on both hands growing slightly longer as it nears its target...

Meanwhile
Ever seen Dreamcatcher? Remember Jonesy's mental vault? Well, our hero is in something pretty similar right about now; Only unlike Jonesy, he's stuck in complete darkness, capable of seeing out of his eyes like windows from behind the dark psyche. As I've previously stated, to attempt to seize control right now is Suicide... So, then, he steps back, trying to regain some sense of what the hell is happening.

As he does, his "eyes" alight on something else; in the darkness, a thin stream of light, parallel to that which you would get from beneath a door. It doesn't seem to belong to the Thing... hell, he doubts if the Thing even knows it exists. So, like a moth to the flame, the young man strives for that thin stream of light, not knowing if, once he gets it, it will even be useful...
