Reck made it to a kneeling position and gave Kei a slight smile to try and put her mind at ease.

Kei smiled back. "I appreciate it... though I wish you could have waited until I took him home... he's been working overtime for a while now and is losing more sleep than he should. I'm sorry for the way he treated you though..."

Kei laughed to herself a bit. "He'd probably yell at me if I did... he'd say I shouldn't have come back if I wanted to spend time with you. Besides... if you two actually got off on the right start... and got to know eachother for a while, you two would enjoy eachothers company... I know I do... both of you... " She paused to think a bit... "And judging by how I exited the hospital... he just might come looking for me... he hates it when I'm around anything or anyone he deems to be dangerous."

"Me? Dangerous? No way."
Reck gave Kei an innocent look and danced around a bit.
"Anyway, I might be busy training sometimes so I got something for ya to hold on to."
He reached into his hair and pulled his beetle gomma out and held out his hand towards Kei. Gomma then hovered from Reck's hand to Kei's shoulder and sat there.
"I want you to hold onto Gomma for a while. There are two reasons for this. One, he'll be my eyes and ears when I'm not around so he better not try anything. And two, he has grown to like you so...family bonding. haha."

Kei touched Goma's head softly. "Thank you Reck, though Kisoku wouldn't even think of trying anything... he's not like that..." She smiled at the beetle as he hovered by her head.

Reck goes up and gives Kei a big hug picking her up off the ground.

Kei smiled and higged back. "I have been quite well. Training and all that good stuff... I have a few new friends as well... they are refugees from Kumo and Kiri."

She laughed a bit. "I still am... I'm just more open around people I know, I guess... I've grown a bit of a backbone, I might add... though I guess that's all thanks to Kisoku. I was never able to stick up for myself and all..." She grew quieter... now that it was brough to her attention, she would have to watch herself...

"Really?" Kei stepped forward and hugged her brother again. "Thank you... that means a lot to me... he's really not so bad. He just grew up that way... he doesn't know any different... and he did more for me than that... being a medic nin and all.... there was that one incident when we first met and I was collecting rattler venom, and then the other time when I was working in the hospital and I was transporting poison to his office... that wasn't a very happy moment, but..." She trailed off.... She was talking too much. A habit she knew she shouldn't get into...

Reck put a fake smile on for Kei trying to hide how he felt and hugged her back.
