Me: Nothing much. I figured that a late night adventure would be fun. But good to see you to. *I listen to the sounds of the beach* Me: Quieter at night.

"I've been thinking," Cody started, staring up at the same moon as his teammates. "I have a Ghost pokemon that manipulates electronics. I'm thinking about doing some late night shopping at the Department Store." He gave a quick chuckle and ascended a small cliff that separated the beach and the city's limits.

Cody turned back to Brian with a questioning look on his face. Thinking back, he remembered Dark being followed by a refrigerator and mentioning other utilities. "No, you're thinking of Dark's Rotom," the boy chuckled, making his way into the city.

"Well. Good thing I brought a Porygon." Colton smirked as he let the digital Pokemon out of its ball. "Pory can edit the video footage and make us invisible." the teen suggested.

"Beautiful," the boy looked to Ginji with a smile. I can see the storefront just ahead. It was late, and the streets had just about cleared out. Other than the late night insomniac or proverbial midnight oil burner they occasionally passed, Lilycove was as dead as the starless sky above them. The group reached the storefront and Cody held up a hand, motioning for the group to stop. He released Rotom from its ball and sent it inside to knock out the alarm. After a few counts to "twenty Mississippi", the boy whipped a bobby pin from behind his ear an got to work on the lock. Within seconds, they were in and the door was shut and locked behind them.

The boy pulls out his TADS and shoots his team a message. Grab up to three items, each with a maximum quantity of five. And make it quick. I think I heard something downstairs. The boy scurried up the stairs, making a bolt for the pokeball section, then on to the medicine.

Cody ran down the stairs to join the rest of his team. Walking up to Brian, he held his bag open, showing his team member his stash. "What'd you grab?" Just as the the boy finished his question, a loud smash resounded through the empty store and guards flooded their floor. "Stop right there!" the guards seemed to shout in unison, raising their flashlights to the group. "Quick, boys! Run!" Cody shouted, turning and running for the elevator. Just then, the elevator dinged and the doors open, more guards flooding the room. The Aquans were surrounded, left with no option but to fight their way down the stairs.
[We're on the third floor. Fight one guard per floor until you are out of the building for a total of three guards. Each guard will have a Growlithe and one evolved pokemon. Use whatever means necessary to fight your way through the rest of the guards.]

"I... I definately don't have the means to defeat three gaurds." Colton sighed as his Munchlax behind him squirmed a bit. "Porygon. I'm going to need some help." he laughed as he hatched himself a plan. "Tri-Attack! The window!" Colton yelled as Porygon launched an attack at the window, setting off an alarm and shattering the glass. "Return!" he yelled, recalling Munchlax and Porygon as he sprinted towards the window and leapt.
As the teen fell, he reached for his third and final Pokeball as he fell. "See you suckers later" he smirked back at the guards and released Wailmer "Bounce!" Colton called out as the large whale softened their landing and started to bound towards HQ.

Cody grabbed a pokeball from his belt and held it tightly in his hand as he lowered his shoulder and charged toward the line of policemen blocking the stairs. Three men in uniform stepped up to stop him, but with a stiff-arm, a juke, and a spin move, the boy successfully maneuvered through them. As he went for the stairs, a group of police came charging up, blocking the top of the stairwell. Cody grabbed the railing with both hands and vaulted himself over the side of the steps, landing halfway down. Cops flooded the bottom of the staircase, one pulling a pokeball and releasing a Growlithe to stand in the boy's way. "I was waiting for one of you fools to step up," the Aquan scoffed, sending out a pokemon of his own.
Mightyena appeared on the stairs before them in a flash of light, howling as she emerged from her ball. The uneven landing threw her off a bit and she had to catch herself from falling, but she lowered her head and used the momentum to headbutt her opponent hard. The Growlithe responded with a small blast of flames that scorched the tips of Poochy's fur, causing minimal damage. The Dark Type summoned a mouthful of dark energy and shot it at Growlithe, hitting the pup once more. The narrow stairwell left no room to dodge any attacks, and the pokemon knew that. It was nothing but survival of the fittest in this test of brute strength. Growlithe huffed, obviously worn out from the attacks, but summoned another blast of fire, this one obviously more powerful than the last. Poochy braced herself for the attack, and flinched as the fire set in, burning her pretty badly, but she still fought on. It was obvious that she was starting to feel the effects of battle. Her breaths were more noticeable, but she didn't let it phase her. Her eyes started to glow in a deep violet and she jumped up and down on the steps, finally releasing a pulse of dark energy in the form of a shockwave in front of her, hitting Growlithe into its trainer and sending them both flying down the steps. The Fire Type was K.O.'d. Cody used this opportunity to launch himself down the steps. He grabbed the railing and swung his body weight back and forth before launching over the fallen officer. As he landed, he felt a tug on his pants leg. The cop had grabbed him with both hands and was holding on tight. With a strong pull, Cody's body was brought to the ground, and he landed on his back, giving the officer enough time to stumble to his feet and pull another pokeball. "Kadabra, let's go!" the uniformed man called, shooting another pokeball into the air. "Kaaaadabaraaaaa~" The pokemon's eyes glowed blue as it danced around in front of Mightyena, summoning a bolt of electricity from the bent spoon it held in its hand. The shock engulfed Poochy's body and buckled her knees, sending the pooch to the ground. She struggled to get back up and launched another pulse of dark energy toward her opponent. Kadabra lifted itself into the air, avoiding the shockwave altogether. The Psychic type launched another thunderbolt from its spoon, hitting the already weakened Mightyena. Poochy collapsed once more, this time not getting up. She was done for the night. Cody recalled his pokemon and replaced her without hesitation.
Rotom was next, emerging from its pokeball and twirling around with joy as it always did. As its first order of business, it poofed away in a cloud of smoke, replacing itself with a pokedoll that sat motionless on the ground. Kadabra launched a psychic wave at the substitution, but it didn't move. "Pointless," Cody laughed as Rotom reappeared, singing its name. Just then, the glass on all of the windows blasted out, and a creepy purple fog filled the room, chilling everyone to the bone. Wind blew from every direction, hitting Kadabra hard and knocking it to the ground, causing it serious damage. As the wind died down, the fog cleared, and both figures became visible again. Except Rotom was gone. In its place was what was left of the substitute. After the last attack, chunks of the pokedoll's head and body were missing, and it seemed to barely be holding on. Kadabra launched a final psychic blast, demolishing the pokedoll, and forcing Rotom back onto the battlefield. The ghost appeared, the electric bolts that served as its arms appeared larger and its blue aura that constantly surrounded it seemed to glow brighter, as if the Ominous Wind had raised its stats. Rotom held the tips of its lightning bolt arms together, forming a ball of dark energy. When the ball grew to maximum size, Rotom launched it at the Kadabra, who tried to evade the attack. The Shadow Ball was too big, though, and it hit the Psychic type head on, blasting it into one of the vending machines. The cop rushed to its rescue, and another stepped up, releasing another Growlithe.
"Rotom, return," Cody called, returning his ghost to its ball. The boy had other plans for his mischievous pokemon, and needed it to still have strength for later. He tossed another ball, releasing Celeste, his Feebas, to the field. The Mystic Water she held glowed as she summoned a blast of scalding water to cover her opponent. Growlithe yelped in pain as the attack took its toll, causing serious burns. The fire pup responded by digging a hole in the floor, making its way underneath the fish pokemon. "Celeste, shoot water into the hole," Cody shouted, pointing to the hole Growlithe had made. The Water Type summoned a large blast of water an shot it into the hole, but it was too late. Growlithe emerged behind her and attacked fiercely, doing moderate damage for it being a Ground attack. Feebas called upon its Mystic Water once more and shot a concentrated jet of water at Growlithe, which hit at high velocity. The attack was Super Effective, and was just enough to bring the opponent to its knees. The cop returned his pokemon and readied himself for another attack.
Cody returned Celeste, praising her and the rest of his pokemon for fighting so well, and waited for the officer to send his next pokemon. "Magneton! Let's show them what happens when you break the law!" And with that, the trio magnet pokemon appeared. "Let's see what Darumaka can do!" Cody shouted, grabbing another ball from his belt. The little red pokemon appeared in a flash of light and contracted its legs and arms, rocking back and forth on its bottom with its eyes closed as it prepped itself for battle. Magneton glowed a bright yellow, sending a blue current through each of its magnets as it charged itself for a strong electric attack. Darumaka popped from its fetal-like position and danced around, engulfing its fist in flames before charging at Magneton. The Fire Type struck hard, calling upon its Hustle ability and Charcoal that it held to boost the power of its attack as it connected with Magneton, leaving the foe with serious burns. The electric type groaned as the burns took their toll on its energy level, but it still looked strong. The magnet trio pokemon responded, sending another bright blue spark through each of its magnets before summoning a giant blast of electricity. This attack was much more powerful than Cody had ever imagined it being. "Feel the power of Magneton's Thunder!" the cop shouted, laughing maniacally as the blast hit Darumaka and sent it flying. The Fire Type hit the back wall of the store hard and peeled off, falling to the floor. It struggled to its feet, engulfing itself in flames and charging at Magnton with revenge in its eyes. The pokemon jumped as it got close, lighting its fire brighter as it called upon its ability and held item a final time, and struck its foe hard, knocking both pokemon to the ground. Darumaka bounched off of Magneton and rolled into the busted vending machine where Kadabra had landed, swirls in its eyes and down for the count. Magneton let out a long, painful groan as it lifted itself back into the air slowly, but quickly descended as its burns took their toll once more.
Cody returned his pokemon with an evil smile and praised it as he clipped the ball to his belt and descended quickly down the final flight of stairs. Almost out of the building, he sighed a long sigh of relief. The boy grabbed Rotom's ball once more and called upon the ghost pokemon. "Rotom, find every camera in this building and wipe all of the security footage," the trainer commanded. "I want it to seem like tonight never even happened. When you're done, meet me back at HQ. Don't get caught up." The ghost sang its name and disappeared. Cody had full confidence in his pokemon, though he couldn't help but feel nervous. He had never sent any of his pokemon out on their own like that before. He could only hope for the best. He sighed once more and took off, blasting through the already broken doorway and out into the night. Now, it was time to disappear. Just as he stepped out of the building, a group of police showed up on motorcycles, basking him in spotlights. "Stop right there," a female voice came over a megaphone. "You're surrounded." "Not for long," the boy shot back, sending out Fraxure. "Come on, lady. Step up if you're not afraid." As Cody finished his sentence, a female police officer stepped off her motorcycle, setting down the kickstand, and grabbing a pokeball from her belt. "I'm not afraid of criminals like you," she replied with sass. "You're all the same, and you all belong in the same place. I take down thugs like you every day." In a flash of light, yet another Growlithe appeared in front of the boy. "You must all love this pokemon," the Aquan laughed, looking to his dragon pokemon. "You're gonna learn the true power of Dragon Types right here. Fraxure started off by throwing its arms into the air. It started to dance around in a circle, raising its attack ability sharply. Growlithe howled, charging at the dragon with its head down. The attack hit, but Fraxure shook it off, doing another dance to raise its attack once more. The police officer growled, knowing the Aqua member was stalling. Growlithe charged at Fraxure once more, but again, the dragon shook off the attack. "Fraxure!" Cody called to his pokemon. "Let's show them your true power!" The dragon pokemon nodded, its eyes illuminating in a burning gold. Its claws burst into blue flames and it charged Growlithe, calling upon the power of its Draco Plate, and attacking the fire type mercilessly in an outrage. The pup yelped in pain as it collapsed to the ground, but managed to get up and let off a small fire attack, doing no damage to Fraxure. Fraxure lanched itself at Growlithe once more, practically ripping the helpless pup to shreds. Cody laughed and returned his dragon, praising it on a job well done. "Is that all you've got?" the boy asked with a smirk.
The female police officer was astounded, and her face reflected her feelings. "You... You're evil," she managed before pulling another ball from her belt. "This will stop you!" she called, releasing her next pokemon. "Wartortle! Let's go!" Before her appeared a blue turtle pokemon. It looked angry and ready to fight. Cody pulled his final ball from his belt. "This is the only pokemon I haven't used tonight, and you'll see why," he said with a smile. The boy sent the ball flying. It burst in the air, and in the middle of the battlefield, Lileep appeared, stoic as ever. Wartortle growled, preparing to lower its head. Just then, Lileep's eyes glowed green, reflecting the color in the Water Type's eyes. Wartortle forcibly straightened its back and launched a powerful blast of water at Lileep, doing minimal damage. The Water Type looked just as surprised as its trainer. "Lileep's ability," Cody laughed, shaking his head. "It attracts water moves, meaning this battle is over." Lileep dug its roots into the ground and sucked the life from the earth around it. The grass started to lose its green color as Lileep became stronger. Wartortle popped its head inside its shell to prepare for its Skull Bash attack, but suddenly shot a burst of water from every hole in its shell, causing it to spin around quickly. The water hit Lileep, but it still remained unphased, summoning energy from the moon and storing it in its petals. Lileep's roots started to glow green as it continued to suck energy from the ground. The Water Type popped its head from its shell, dizzy from the unexpected spin, and shot another blast of water, missing by a long shot. Lileep cut its energy gathering off and lowered its head, aiming directly for Wartortle and firing a huge beam of energy from its petals. Wartortle flew into its trainer, sending both to the ground. "Lileep, use Gastro Acid on the motorcycles!" Cody called to his pokemon. The Grass Type danced around, spitting acid all over the tires of the police bikes. The acid ate at the tread of the tires, popping them one by one. The boy waved to the police officers and disappeared into the night, hoping to run into Brian before reaching HQ.
