One more hit was all he needed to finish the crippled monster and he finally managed to connect, doing far more damage than he technically needed but finally winning as he panted. That had been harder than it should have been and he climbed his way up to the top of the bluffs choosing the ascension blessing

Once more finding his self here, Andie looked around at the cliffs for a moment then started up the path.

When he got to the bridge he eyed it with distrust then started across it. Unfortunately he wasn't fast enough and it broke under him.

Angry at the harpies for throwing her off, Ruse began to march up those cliffs once more, only to have a rock on her head.

Ruse had been so used to running past the bridge, that she grew careless and before she realized what had happened, the bridge had given way.

Kin had decided he was going to try all of the areas he had yesterday and was having terrible luck with it today. Sighing softly he made his way to the cliffs, this had been easy yesterday, but then again so had the forge. As he calmly walked up the bridges his foot fell through a plank that had been steady yesterday and he kneeled quickly and began tearing at the plank to free his foot.

After finally freeing his foot Kin watched the planks a bit more carefully for rotten spots and made the rest of the ascent safely

Again Kin's luck was not good today and before he got to the other side of the bridge the entire thing gave out from underneath him, dropping him all the way back down to where he had started, though surprisingly unhurt, he growled in frustration.

This time back up the slope Kin knew where to step and his footing was sure enough that he made it back up without his foot getting stuck. He didn't pretend to understand how the goddesses worked but the bridge before him was no longer completely broken but was still very unstable.

Even with his more careful footing the second time on the bridge the entire thing still snapped on him a single step before the end and dropped too fast for him to be able to leap to land. The winged boy yelped as it deposited him on his rump at the beginning once more.

In his irritation at being dumped a second time by the bridge Kin wasn't pay as close of attention to the smaller foot bridges and his foot fell through once more. Kneeling down he began shredding the wood that trapped his ankle, beginning to grow more and more irritated.

After taking a few deep breaths Kin freed his foot and continued his journey up the path until he reached the bridge that was causing him so much grief.

Deciding that slow sure footing wasn't the correct way to cross the bridge Kin backed up for a running start and sprinted across the rickety bridge which bobbed and swayed under his steps but stayed in tact for him to cross.

It never fails. Whenever he comes here something always happens to him. Thankfully it didn't seem to be the guy that throws rocks. It's just him getting stuck between a rock and a hard place. He stares down at it and jerks hi foot out carefully. He wanted to be ready to fight the harpie. He needed to defeat it. The blessings were calling him.
