“… Rage, huh? Fitting name, I suppose…oh!” Hel smiled. “ If he approached you, he must see something in you, right? I think that is a very good thing, when people come looking to you…” Usually. Usually it was a good thing when people came looking for you…” Ha! Ya!” Hel grinned, and one hand left his shoulder to touch her chin. “ I made a glove using an instruction list he wrote, and I brought it back to him, and then he slapped my face!” Hel pulled her hand away from her face to indicate a full beard. “ Then I had a beard. It would have shamed my Papa, because it was not as long as his. He can braid his beard. I am working on gathering materials for another one right now though.”

Jericho shrugged lightly at that. "Maybe. We had spoken with him a couple times before. He might have had something else in mind when he wanted to speak with us," he said. As far as the beard slap went, he was trying to imagine this but... was having a bit of trouble. For one thing.. Hel with a beard? That was just weird! ... Was it dual toned too? "... We wouldn't think you would have much of a beard.. being a girl and all anyway."

Willow's ears twitched, "Stealing!? I was thinking about finding one that didn't work and buy it for them. Maybe they could fix it." She explained, as she tried not to laugh, "Buying a broken one in hopes that they can fix it isn't as bad as dismantling a good one is it?"
She paid no mind to what anyone else might think. There was a pause when Kiwi showed up. "Ah, there you are." She smiled and tried not to giggle when he started talking about the gnome, "I'll probably go back in a bit to see what's going on more. There's some interesting items and a small investigation going on. Probably a big game."
She watched at Kiwi continued to sort of stumble over himself. She chuckled eventually, "This is my friend Roch, Roch meet Kiwi."

with her company gone, the Grand Bois went on to choosing a few finger snacks to place onto a little plate, as well as pour some punch for herself. Subtly excited to try the delicacy's prepared for the event, Ev made her way to a chair to sit properly, and enjoy her bite to eat.

Mot wandered about until he found Xiu, who'd just finished up a dance with Vaith. The current song playing was fun, lively and was just his kind of music. The grim reaper approached the pair and waved a hand.
"Xiu~" He smiled softly. "Mind having a dance with me?" He looked the ghoul over, and chuckled, a hand overing over his smile. Their heigt difference was grand. Just how would this work?

"Hey," Roch said with a grin. "Roch Scythe. Nice to meetcha, Mr. Horseman. Willow, I'll just hand you over to your date, then. Thanks for the dance," he added, giving her a grin that didn't quite reach his eyes. He was still confused by girls in general. "And I'll think about the smoothie machine. I might be able to find them some toys in the junk yard, but it's always such a pain in the a** breakin' in," he said, frowning. "I guess we could check screebay," he added, seriously thinking about it. Then he looked at Kiwi. "You guys have screwdrivers and stuff, right?"

Oh how delicious. Riyo had just jumped right in ready to rile Shun up along with him. " What a come back, I honestly expect more from you," Titus tsked and shook his head. " And to think my opinion could go lower." That toothy grin broadened as his gaze turned to the werewolf at the reaper's side. " You know I don't think we were ever properly introduced were we, Powderpuff? Shun tried his hardest to keep you from me but its not hard to see to connection." Titus chuckled with amusement. " Oh, the stories I could tell. I'm sure Shun's told you all about Mirren." --- Well, at least it didn't seem like Riyo was being bothered but the look of concern never left. Mitsu wasn't very pleased that they had ganged up on Shun but she wasn't sure what to do. She liked Riyo and didn't want to anger her. " H...Hi.." That expression went a little wide eyed though when Titus turned his attention on her looking very much like a hollow deer in headlights. " M...Mirren?" Confused Mitsu looked between Titus and Shun not sure what significance the name had.

"Mot, hi!" Her eyes lit up with delight when the cowboil approached her--she hadn't gotten a chance to speak with him all evening! The request for a dance was met by a smile and an enthusiastic nod. "Yes, of course! I'd love you dance with you, Mot."
She turned briefly to offer her noise reaper friend a hug, thanking him for the fun dance before she turned back to look at Mot. Staring up at him, her head cocked to the side as she considered how this was going to work. He was about a good head taller than she was, and while not impossible, their height difference would possibly make things a little more difficult.
"How should we do this?" She grinned, propping her hands up on her hips, "Maybe I should have worn taller heels?"

"Y're starting to develop a cast-iron stomach, Needle," he teased, turning to Ulmuka to add amicably, "She give y' a run for y'r money?"Even though the tikbalang just sat down, he didn't mind getting back up again at the suggestion of getting their pictures taken. "'M good with whatever the ghouls want." He did regret not getting his and Needle's photos during Scarentines but he wasn't going to pass up the opportunity this time. Mot laughed and nodded. "Maybe. Hmm." He rubbed his chin, tilting his head in thought. "I've danced with short ghouls before. A lot. It just hurts the back a bit." He smirked then, as if an idea had occurred to him suddenly.
"Or you could always stand on my boots like a scareling." He laughed lightly.

"So you're saying that your date is less than worthy to you? I suppose the figures too. But really you two do make a perfect match," Shun shrugged before grimacing as Titus went to focus on Mitsu. At the mention of Mirren, his eye narrowed. He had a slight feeling he knew where this was going and he didn't really like that all too much. "His older sister. Cruel and nasty woman enough to make Riyo look like a fluffy kitten. Tits here has sister issues."

Xiu even surprised herself a little by agreeing to Mot's suggestion, but hey, it was prom! It was a time to have fun and enjoy oneself, right? Leaning down, the baku lifted one leg so that she could slide off one of her heels, and then did the same with her other shoe. Grinning, she scurried away to set her heels down by the wall before moving back to Mot.
"Okay, ready when you are!"

Woah she actually agreed to it. Mot had to laugh. This was probably the silliest most adorable part of the night.
The grim let her put her shoes away, then took each of her hands to pull her into the dance floor. "Hop up whenever you're ready, little lady." Mot said with a grin. As soon as she stood on his boots, he began to shuffle about to the music, much like a father would with his young daughter.
"I feel like I might be too young to be doing this." He said with a laugh.

C-couple?
Riyo stopped her laughing as soon as that c-word was mentioned.
Don't blush. Don't blush. Don't blush Jackdammit. Think of something gross. Shun was gross, and now he was flipping her off. Okay. Warmth in face averted. Instead of saying anything in response, the ghoul just flipped that bird right back. Now to say something witty... Uh... Uh!
It didn't look like the feline would have to avoid clamming up, since the next subject was something only Shun wasn't in the dark about. There wasn't much Riyo could do about Mitsu getting dragged into it. As much as she hated getting the poor ghoul in such a mess, seeing Shun writhe was about worth it.
... About...
That name was familiar. Who was that again? Either way, Riyo looked to the boil expectantly. OH, right. Titus's sister.
... And more couple shots. Riyo was trying to hide how much it was getting to her, but the more bricks the boil kept piling on, the harder it was to keep from making a sound. "So how do you know so much about her, Shun?" Why the hell not, she loved a good story.

Grasping Mot's hands, the baku stuck her tongue out of the corner of her mouth as she obediently hopped up onto the boil's booted feet. After a second or two passed, she let out a delight laugh, her tail swishing behind her. This was extremely silly--and kind of immature on her part--but she really didn't care. It was too much fun to care, really!
"And I feel like I'm a little too old to be doing this!" She replied, though her tone was cheerful, "This is the first time anyone has ever asked me to step on their feet while dancing though."
At the very least, in addition to the fun factor, Mot had spared himself from possibly being stepped on with heels this evening.
