Yeah... About that. My parents disowned me when they saw what I was turning into... What I was turning into. Xuza repeated the last sentence to herself, just because she could believe she'd said it. At this point, the food they ordered came. It looked good, but Xuza wasn't that hungry anymore. So, that's why I want to start over, she said when the waiter walked away.

Xuza's eyes went wide when she saw Vivian put up her flame. She'd never seen black fire before. She found it... Captivating.
Whoa! That's cool... I wish I could make black fire happen. The only thing I really have going for me are the regular colored flames... Oh yeah, I guess that makes another thing we have in common. Xuza played with her spoon as she talked, waving it around in the air in a languid fashion, as if she were tracing the way her flames would dance if she held control over them. I've only been able to do it once, but I've made flames before. I made it through most of school on my family's name and my sword skills, but some time after I got these wings I was able to create fire... I'd like to learn how to do it all the time I guess.
Vivian smiled "Well...i can also..make red flames..the normal ones..but the black flames are special since they cant be put out my normal means" she said before the flame on her finger turned red as if she switched the flame. "Well...im glad its..at least controllable..when i found out i had flames...i kept doing this..but in a bigger flame" she said before grabbing the unlite candle on the table(some restaurants have these still) she breathed only to have fire come out of her mouth, soon the candle lite up

That's seriously impressive... When I mad my flames, they were normal organey red color, but it looked like... Fog. It's hard to describe. It was like I was swimming in them... Next thing I knew, I was running faster, jumper higher, than I ever had before. Xuza was feeling like she'd known Vivian for a long time. It was nice to have a friend in a strange place. However familiar looking it was. So, wanna see what I can do?
Vivian smiled "thank you..i took me years to master it...and the better part...." she said leaning closer "fire doesnt work on me..because i can just swallow it" she said chuckling before sitting back continuing her food only to nod she didnt speak due to food in her mouth so she nodded instead to agree to her showing off

Xuza was finally taking a bite of her waffle when she felt Vivian get closer. It really startled her and made her choke a little on her bite, which must have looked hilarious to the other diner patrons.
Almost died! ... Anyway, here we go. With that, Xuza unfolded her wings a bit. The room around them was a little darker, as if she were pulling in light with her strange feathers. Those same feathers began to move around, and a heat-wave looking phenomenon stirred the air before them. Before long, the central post that held up the table appear to come up half way through the table top, like somebody had shoved it through. It stayed there, but had no effect on the height of the table. Next, Xuza tried to poke the post with her fork. The fork seemed to slither it's way around it, and ended up disappearing right before it got to Vivian's face. It appeared that Xuza was disrupting the dimensions around them, because the end of her fork was stuck in the waffle again. That's awesome. You must've had to train really hard to master that kind of power, she said with a smile. Her ability was fun, when she knew what she was doing.
Vivian shrugged before swallowing "well..yea...my sisters..actually taught me how to eat an element...." she said smiling ony to watch what was happening "um..what..the..i..i dont understand what happened" she aid looking under the table and on the table "how..." she looked confused, despite the years alive she never saw such an ability
