Saren "Embyr" Fuliside & Lavan "Firestorm" Chitward Saren and Lavan Had been roaming the wilderness for a while now, Each learning things from and about the other. Lavan demonstrating what he knew about living off of the land, Saren teaching Lavan about his home world and both discovering new things about the planet around them. As they were traveling, they both felt something strange and disturbing about a small clearing in a patch of trees not quite large enough to be called a forest, more of a grove. Neither could find anything wrong, but they both felt disturbed by the space, so they left, heading through a small pass that led into the Midgar area. As they talked, carefully avoiding the one subject Lavan wasn't willing to talk about any further currently, Lavan spotted a figure in the distance, moving towards Midgar as well. Lavan pointed the far off figure to Saren, who squinted and managed to make him out. "Who do you think that is?" Lavan asked, but Saren was already smiling. "Someone we should talk to." He sayed jogging out ahead and waving towards the far off figure of Kino as he tried to catch up, lavan startled into running along behind him.

 Mizuko rather enjoyed being apart from Somni Lamia. She didn't like her world much, compared to this peaceful patch of forest. She was half asleep, laying against a tree along a river. Her home was much less civil, even for city standards. Falling asleep, she made a small wish for herself; That she would never be forced from this feeling of rest. She knew it was hopeless, but Lamia could dream too.

As he continued on his brisk walk, Kino heard the sound of footsteps. Very rapid footsteps. Someone moving at about twice his pace, from behind him? Spinning around, Kino thrust his marked arm forward. It was already glowing. though his robe concealed this. Once he'd turned, he noticed that it was two people running toward him, explaining why the pace seemed so rapid. And.. they were waving? Oops. He quickly calmed his arm down, and turn the outward palm into a hand extended for a shake. Though it still would seem awkward, at least it was a friendly gesture and not an aggressive one. "Um.. Hello" he called out to the pair. ------------------------

Saren "Embyr" Fuliside & Lavan "Firestorm" Chitward As Saren and Lavan ran towards Kino and his arm shot out, the pair slowed for a moment. Kino might have noticed that Lavan had dug his foot into the ground on the stride, ready to lunge to either side in case of attack. However, Saren didn't slow or respond to the strange action at all, and Lavan quickly fell back into stride again as they drew up to Kino. Saren seemed slightly puzzled for a moment before Lavan walked in front of him, taking Kino's offered hand. "Hello there." Lavan said as he shook Kino's hand. "Sorry about the odd approach, but Saren here seemed to feel we needed to catch up to you." He said, shooting a look back at Saren, who just shrugged. "We haven't seen anyone for a while, so I wanted to catch up." Saren said. Lavan just looked back at kino. "My name's Lavan." He said to Kino.

Oh, good. They didn't take it too harshly, He thanked to himself, and let out a soft sigh of relief as one of the strangers obliged his offer. He listened to their explanation and smiled. "I don't blame you, I've been wandering this bland place for too long now. My name is Kino," He let go of Lavan's hand, not wanting to have his tattoos exposed for too long, and waved at Saren with the other. After waving, he used the same hand to point behind him. "You guys heading into Midgar, too?" ------------------------

Saren "Embyr" Fuliside & Lavan "Firestorm" Chitward Before Lavan got a chance to answer Kino's question, Saren jumped in with "Yes, actually, we are." Lavan turned to look at him for a moment with an odd look on his face. "I'm not sure that's a good idea." He says to Saren, a decidedly understating remark from his point of veiw. "Well, how else am I supposed to help you then?" Saren asks Lavan, then, without giving him a chance to answer, turned back to Kino. "Lavan here has a issue which we need to head to Midgar to resolve, so yes we are." Saren said, while Lavan seemed slightly steamed but not saying anything.

Kino looked back and forth between the pair, analyzing their behaviour. They acted like a pair, but some how they did not seem much more than acquainted. "Well, that's convenient," he responded, only acknowledging Saren's last words to him. "I guess we can travel together; I have no idea what's along this path and I'd rather not have to exert myself too much" He leaned over to the sized, cracking a few stiff joints as he spoke. ------------------------

Saren "Embyr" Fuliside & Lavan "Firestorm" Chitward Lavan, while still annoyed at his traveling companion, was eyeing Kino as well, analyzing him even as he did the same to them. The man was eyeing them with suspicion that seemed backed by something more then paranoia, marking him with some experience. "Honestly, there isn't that much of any scope down this path. Some rampaging armored things and wheeled creatures seem to be most of what the area around that city has for hostile creatures. Really, the smog scares me more then them." Saren said, moving past Kino and Lavan. "What he doesn't mention is the number of those things. For some reason, the Guard in that city don't seem to care about the things happening outside their walls." Lavan adds in. Unlike Kino, both Lavan and Saren already seemed ready to go, even though Lavan was only armed with a rapier of some kind and Saren had no visible weapons at all.

"Oh, is that all? Then we have no problem." His bothered expression turned into one of delight. Raging beasts usually opted for a close-quarter test of strength- something they would very much regret getting into with Kino. When Saren mentioned the smog, he seemed concerned again, "I see.. That might be a little harder to counter than a few, or even a few hundred, thick headed animals." As Lavan chimed in, he nodded in understanding; most cities had little time to worry about the endless chaos happening in the outside world. Lavan seemed to be a bit more level-heaed; Saren more energetic. Alas, they both seemed ready to go. Interrupting his own analysis, Kino spun around abruptly and raised his left hand for them to follow accidentally. Realizing, he quickly lowered it and hoped that they would not think anything of his markings. "Let's get a move on then! Lavan's in a rush, isn't he?" ------------------------

Saren "Embyr" Fuliside & Lavan "Firestorm" Chitward Neither Lavan or Saren made any mention of the markings on Kino's arm, although they had seen them. "Yes he is." Saren said, moving along with Kino, Lavan rolling his eyes as he fell into step. Inside his head, however, Lavan was considerably less cool then he was showing. What the hell is he thinking, bringing me inside a city? Lavan was thinking, while Saren was bopping his head slightly as they walked, as though listening to his own internal music. Lavan appeared to be paying more attention to their surroundings then Saren, but you never knew with that guy. His eyesight sometimes seemed like it would make eagles jealous. (Sorry if my posts seem lackluster and disorganized, I dont generally post with multiple characters at once interacting with each other and other people, plus I haven't used these two in a bit so my memory of their personalities is a bit off, plus iv'e been jumping between this and Youtube XD Anyways, this'll be my last post, since it's after 3 in the morning for me. Goodnight, sleep well, and i'll talk to you later.)

It wouldn't be heard, though as Mizuko slept away in her peaceful bliss, something was lowering into a clearing of that forest. A strange hover craft like ship, it was small, slightly rounded and very quick to flee had those piloting needed to flee.Inside were just a few SOLDIER's, the ones most were calling Fallen SOLDIER, and one twisted scientist a lot of Serentians feared as Roysuke. "This tracking device is working spendedly. How quickly it picked this one up...AVALANCHE will never suspect us, nor see or hear us coming..Wonderful! The X-17 is working perfectly. Soon, we will track down everyone of them...none will escape, and as it is, with none of them knowing, No one will come for them. How could they? " He laughed, leaning back into his chair as the door slid open, a small, thin ramp lowering to exit two armed SOLDIER's. They weren't taking chances, and while the girl slept, raised a familiar weapon Nau would of known well. The ray gun, which would stun and put Mizuko into an even heavier sleep, had she even woken up. Had they succeeded, the men quickly grabbed the silver haired girl, and brought her back into the ship.
And just like that, once the doors shut tight, the small ship took off, disappearing into it's stealth mode. Not even a sound could be heard! Leave it to Ryosuke, to built the 'perfect' ship.

((Would you believe that all this time I'd thought that post at 3:09 was my own? >_< So sorry for the wait, bro By the way, can we get a few creatures in here? I'd love to do it myself, but I figure I should give that liberty to the VC 3nodding ))   ------------------------ Following Lavan's example, Kino was watching the things around him carefully; though being sure not to sweat it too much. As they came to a point where there was no longer an open crossroads behind them, his watch became a bit more vigilant. Sure, his reflexes were fast enough, but it did not take much more than one well aimed arrow catching him off guard to down him. "Eyes peeled?" he asked behind him, but he admittedly was directing it to Saren, somewhat, who appeared to be in a magical forest of his own. ------------------------

Saren "Embyr" Fuliside & Lavan "Firestorm" Chitward Lavan had been keeping eyes and ears out for anything else nearby, while Saren still did not seem to be particularly worried. Even after Kino asked if he was watching, he only glanced up and then around once while still bopping his head along. A few seconds after the however, Saren suddenly said, "Hold up a minute." Lavan stopped, looking at Saren. "Why are we-" he started to ask before Saren looked off to the side of the road. "Somethings coming." He says. Just after he says that, the sound of combustion engines can barely be heard. It was only a moment before two Devil Rides came roaring over a nearby hill, and at the same time a Custom Sweeper suddenly burst from the ground in front of the trio. Lavan drew his rapier, although the thing looked puny next to the massive armored Custom Sweeper robot in front. Saren, on the other hand, pulled his hands from his pockets, seeming to focus again, now that a fight was at hand. (Dont worry about it man, I understand that. I've done it a few times myself. As for bringing in NPC Monsters, usually you can do that if you want XD But thanks ^^ Also, yay for puny monsters XD)

------------------------ To Saren's warning, Kino had already put his hands on the sword at his side. "What are tho-" Before he could question the foes beyond, the trio was confronted by an even larger enemy, rudely making his entrance from the ground in front of them. A quick analysis pointed out the two sub-machine guns attached to the monster's arms. Pulling his sword from the sheath just enough to reveal the blade, Kino took a step back so that he was closer inline with Saren and Lavan behind him. As he stepped back, he noticed Lavan's rapier. "I assume you're pretty good with that?" He asked humorously, anxious for one of these three metalheads to make their first, and likely their last, move. ------------------------

Saren "Embyr" Fuliside & Lavan "Firestorm" Chitward "Quite." Was all Lavan said in answer to Kino. It seemed he didn't quite go for the entire battle banter thing. Saren, on the other side of Kino, seemed to start slowly hopping from one foot to the other as he eyed the Custom Sweeper and the Devil Rides that had looped around behind it. Just as the Devil Rides pulled up, the Custom Sweeper raised both of its arms at Kino, opening up with both of it's machine guns at him, and the Devil Rides simultaneously rushed both Lavan and Saren to either side. Lavan waited for the Devil Ride to close before jumping, one foot landing just behind the wheel. His intent had been to stab it and then jump off again, but he wasn't ready as it shook just as he landed, so instead he fell off, smacking into the ground right where he had been. Saren, on the other side, sidestepped, tapping the Devil Ride that had rushed him as it passed. Both Devil rides would then try to loop back around to get behind the Custom Sweeper again, although the one Saren had tapped was making odd sputtering noises as it started its turn. (There we go, hope thats enough for you to work with. Sorry about the delay, I've been helping some friends work on another guild and kept getting distracted by shiny other things too XD)
