Aludra Yvette... Aludra walked into the defense classroom with a chipper grin on her face and sat down in her usual spot near the back. She looked up at the board and saw that it was an ‘Open Forum‘ day in the class and that ment she didn’t have to do much. She wasn’t really the classroom talking type anyway. ...7th Year Slytherin

Lena tried and tried and tried to cast the patrounus charm but no matter how much she tried, she couldn’t do it. The best she had accomplished had been a large wisp of silvery mist. She was very frustrated with herself and couldn’t believe she couldn’t cast a patronus charm. She feared dementors and really wanted to learn this charm. As she was battling with herself not to give up, Professor Reynolds announced the class was dismissed and so she left the classroom feeling disappointed in herself, but even more so determined to learn more about the patronus charm, practice it and accomplish to cast it correctly before the end of her fourth year..

Lena walked into the classroom, a bit late for class, and dropped her bag on a nearby desk. She walked to the teacher's desk and spoke to Professor Reynolds. Hello, Professor. Sorry I’m late.. Have I missed anything or has the lesson not yet begun?

Alright. Thanks, Professor. Lena walked back to her desk and began to leaf through her DADA book, trying to find a creature or a spell she'd like to learn that the Professor hadn't yet taught them.

Alex hated these open forum lessons they were doing, she wanted to learn spells "professor, when is it that were actually going to do something?" Alex asked him bored "not that i'm complaining about doing this but i was just wondering" Alex added

Kenneth couldn't help but simile his little sarcastic mark must have set off a spark of curiosity inside Alex. 'Good' he thought to himself. "Yes one can fight off the Imperius Curse. It requires great strength of will and character, similar in the way one learns to apply Occlumency. You have to learn to control your mind make it resident to outside forces. It's not an easy thing to do."

Caiden came on into the Defense against the Dark Arts classroom, ready to start learning his favorite subject again. He came in, took a seat, and began to take out a few things. One of them being his wand, of course. Caiden then stood up after setting his stuff down and approached the professor from a far."Hello, professor. I'm Caiden Alexander. It's nice to meet you. I'm... new to this class, and, well, to be honest, I'm fairly new to the school as well." He wondered what further instructions he would recieve now. He had really missed this class, although it was called 'Dark Magic Knowledge and Defense' at his old school. The United states just seemed so screwed up compared to here, or so he thought.

While Kenneth was explaining to Alex how one would resist the Imperius Curse, he took note that he a had a new student entering the classroom. He'd seen the boy in The Great Hall and had heard a very rumors that him and Sparrow were spending loads of time together. When he introduced himself Kenneth replied "So your the Caiden I've been hearing about. Losing a quite a few House Points for Gryffindor since you've been here aye?" Kenneth looked down at the boy in a semi-stern matter showing that he didn't approve that his Gryffindor's where losing house points left and right. Still he knew what it was like and wasn't going to give Caiden such a hard time about it. "Well welcome to Hogwarts and to Defense Against the Dark Arts. Today were having an open forum lesson, I'm letting you decided which topic's you wish the discuss today. As you walked in I was telling Alex here that one can, with a strong character and willpower, resist the effects of the Imperius Curse."
