Lucas nodded when Fi agreed about Rhi being completely evil. So now he knew, it wasn't just him. She really hadn't lied...He figured she hadn't, she didn't seem the type to. She might be evil, but she'd just be proud in the evil she'd do and make more of it so she wouldn't even need to take credit for someone else's work, hers was horrid enough. Then he seized upon her question.

"No, no it's fine." He looked down at the sketchbook and noticed her taking it back. He smiled.
"That was my favorite part, too." He said quietly, thinking of when he'd finally thrown her off him. He was amazed she hadn't completely slit his throat right then and there. She was sick. Twisted, horrible, disgusting, revolting, cruel, evil. Every word he could think of that had some negative meaning to it. She was younger than him, too! It was so weird to have someone so young kill a unicorn. Honestly, she couldn't have done it alone...but he didn't want to think about it. Thinking about her, good or bad, was not how he wanted to spend his time. He just wanted to forget about it and get his first kiss back, then give it away to the girl next to him at one point, before that jerk took it again.

Fionna smiled and looked back at Lucas. A twinkle appeared in her eyes when Lucas said that the scene was his favorite part as well. She was glad about that. She hadn't been sure until now that Lucas hadn't enjoyed anything that happened within that room. Even though it was obvious, Fionna had had her doubts.

Fionna decided to go off on a tangent in the topic and switch to quidditch. "So I've got some great stuff planned for quidditch. Have a few little games planned as well." SHe started. Fionna had also set a few dates that she wanted and had gone yesterday to reserve the quidditch pitch. "I booked the quidditch pitch for October second, seventh, and thirteenth." She added with a smile. She was really excited to put her new practices into action. She thought they'd be really fun to do and hopefully the team would agree.

"I'm also thinking about doing some team bonding." Fionna said. It was important to have a team that was united and cared about each other. She hadn't actually thought of anything to do for bonding yet, but surely something would come soon enough.

Lucas beamed at the twinkle in her eye. Lucas's mind raced for a moment when she listed the dates and it stopped speeding towards his skull when she said October 13th. The full moon was the 12th...damn...he'd be so tired from staying up all night before...whatever. He couldn't miss another practice, he couldn't afford to upset her again. He'd make it to that practice if it killed him. When she said team bonding he raised a questioning eyebrow and said;

"Like just sitting around and chatting?" He asked. "What type of games?" He sounded casual, interested, but his mind was jogging now. Not racing, but he was nervous. If it was some type of honesty trust game he would just suck at that. He was reluctant to trust others when they didn't know who he was, or rather, what he was. Fionna seemed to have broken through that shell a bit, he actually kinda wanted her to know. Would it change anything, would it change everything? Shut up Lucas and just focus on the fun quidditch games you'll be doing soon. he corrected himself. Why did he always dwell on this around her? Did he really want to open up and admit it that badly? He'd never known someone he cared about this much before in years.

Fionna was glad for the grin that appeared on Lucas' face. She had missed his smiles while she had been blatantly ignoring him for her stubbornness. She was hoping she could fix things and it hadn't gotten to bad. She didn't want to have what happened with her and Caiden happen to them. She would make this work and hopefully things would go well.

"I'm not really sure yet to be honest. Would probably have some fun activities or adventures. I'm trying to think of some stuff to do." She said honestly with a shrug. It was a work in progress right now. She liked the idea and wanted to try and do something with it. Fionna smiled and said, "It's going to be a surprise." She winked at him. "But i will give you a hint. One involves water." She added with a mischievous grin on her face. It would be a lot of fun.

Lucas raised the other eyebrow now and smiled. "Hmmm..." He put his chin on the top of his guitar and thought for a moment.
"Well I'm not very creative." He admitted. He was only creative and skilled when it came to playing the multiple instruments he owned. Otherwise...not so much.
"That grin tells me we'll be drowning the other team as a group effort." He laughed, looking at the mischievous grin that had just spread across her face.
"Well I'm sure it'll be great whatever it is." He said, placing his guitar back on his lap and leaning up against the beech tree a bit. It was better than he imagined it, being with her. He'd forgotten in these past two weeks or so what it was like to have Fionna on your side. With her being your friend, it was like nothing could go wrong. So were they friends now? Something told him she wouldn't play him and be nice if she didn't intend to be friends again. So she'd forgiven him? She must've. He hoped she would, he'd hated her not being his friend for that huge misunderstanding. This time, he'd cast a disillusion charm on himself on the 11th before he came down to the common room, and use muffliato and anything so that she couldn't know it was him. He wouldn't risk their friendship again, and he'd be there on the 13th, rain or shine, tired or awake. And maybe, just maybe...if he got lucky, they could end up as more than friends...still, he couldn't hope that just now. He didn't want to just do something stupid and have to let her go again.

Fionna smiled and chuckled at the comment. Her face then suddenly got serious and she exclaimed, "Why that's a brilliant idea! That is much better than my plans! We must complete that mission. They stand no chance!" It wasn't long before her face gave her up and she started laughing again. Fionna was terrible at keeping a straight face when she was really laughing on the inside. She couldn't hold it in.

Fionna smiled and leaned back slightly as she put her arms out behind her for support. It was nice to be talking to Lucas again. She had felt oddly lonely since things had gone so wrong and it had only slightly gotten better as she became friends with Caiden again. She relaxed and took in her surroundings. The leaves were changing and some were starting to fall. The sun was still shining but was low on the horizon, and a slight breeze was rustling the plants around.

"Fall is a really beautiful time of year." She stated out loud her thoughts. She loved fall. Fionna use to think that it was only her favorite season because it had her birthday and Halloween, but she had really come to love the change of colors and the time of year.

"Yeah, gorgeous." He agreed without thinking. But he wasn't staring at the leaves and nature, he was looking at her smiling face. He found himself just staring at her face again as he used to, the breeze rustling her hair and the smile spread across her face and shining all around her like a spotlight. When she smiled, no one around her could frown unless they seriously had no heart.

He wasn't sure what to do now, he was so struck by having Fionna back as a friend he wasn't sure what to say. So he picked up the guitar and said with a smile that hadn't been seen on his face before today for a while, one of pure joy, and said "Honestly, I think this song is overplayed but it's the only one about seasons I know."
Seasons of love

Fionna couldn't help but smile and sway as Lucas started to play another song. She loved this song to be honest. She even started to sing along with him slightly. It was quietly thought because Fionna wasn't really sure if she was any good at singing. She didn't ever do it in front of anybody to judge her voice and she criticized herself too much to know.

"I love that song actually." She said as Lucas ended. Fionna still had a smile on her face. She had almost forgotten that the two of them had only just started talking to each other again. It seemed so weird to go from on to suddenly this. She shook her head slightly, but kept the smile on her face.

Fionna wished she had a piano with her or a keyboard, but one was too big and the other didn't work at the castle. It would have been great to do something like that together. Instead all she could do was listen to him.

Lucas loved to hear Fionna sing along and she wasn't bad at all. Certainly better than he was, he just preferred playing the instruments. He smiled at her and looked around as if a topic would seize him from thin air. They hadn't even really hung out for some time...what should he say? The last time they really talked they'd talked about Hogsmeade..should he dare bring that up? Talk about the subject that they'd last discussed as friends? It was time to actually say something. Acknowledge that they were friends again.

"So...Hogsmeade." He said. "Still never really been." He said really since he'd been in part of it for the shrieking shack.
"When's the next trip?"

He vainly hoped that he hadn't just made the conversation awkward. Was he moving a bit too fast? He preferred it to not moving forward at all. Plus, if she did pity him for what happened to Rhi, maybe she'd understand why he was eager to just talk and ignore what had happened. It was still stuck in his mind, he just seriously wanted to cover it up and forget.

Fionna thought the smile either meant he found her singing funny or that she was good. It didn't seem to be an amused laughing smile, so perhaps she wasn't as bad as she thought herself to be. It was possible. She was her biggest critic in everything she did. Even her sketching which to somebody else seemed perfect, she could find something to nitpick on.

Fionna's face went into thought when Lucas brought up Hogsmeade. That was something that had been off the moment she started being mad at Lucas, but now that things seemed to be getting better it may be fun to go. "Ah well we need to change that then." She said as a grin spread across her face. "I believe the next trip is in a few days." She added recalling the date from when she glanced at the notice board.

"Great!" Lucas said, relieved that she wasn't angry at all for him moving too quickly. Still, the way they were talking now, the fight have never happened. The same fear that he had when he first thought of Hogsmeade was a bit stupid, the no money kid who's naive and has never been there before. Even if a witch or wizard hadn't been there at Hogwarts, they'd usually gone as a kid. He might have, but he could never remember going, he only remembered the bite from his childhood and the years spent kinda hidden after that. Before the bite, it was a bit of a blur. He hadn't necessarily been locked up ((Like Harry Potter)) or starved, but life was just plain not enjoyable. Being homeschooled and staying in the house all day could get maddening and he almost enjoyed the once a month trip to the woods when it was daytime. Thankfully, his parents signed the form allowing him to go to Hogsmeade, Headmistress Nikolai made sure of that, she'd really wanted Lucas, as her student, to have some enjoyment in life. He owed her everything amazing he really had here, Hogwarts was practically specially custom fit for him and everyone else who walked through the doors no matter who they are, with the only exception of Rhi.

"So Halloween's coming up, I heard the castle does something special for that? Like dancing skeletons and huge pumpkins?"
It sounded amazing and entertaining, he'd never expected there to be parties here too.

Fionna was glad that they would be going to Hogsmeade. Things were going back to normal, and normal was good. She wasn't a big fan of surprises and drama, but would deal with them when needed. They seemed to be happening a lot lately, but hopefully she will get a break and be able to relax.

Fionna nodded enthusiastically. She loved Halloween. Fionna remembered going trick or treating when her family had lived in a muggle neighborhood. They hadn't wanted to seem out of place or suspicious or anything, so her father had taken the family. "Oh yea. Halloween is amazing here. Huge pumpkins are grown and they float in the great hall. There are special Halloween delicacies." Fionna said recalling the past years.

"October probably has to be my favorite month." Fionna told Lucas. She decided to elaborate. "Because it's so beautiful. Mid fall with the changing and falling leaves. Plus, Halloween which is amazing. Then of course my birthday is also this month." She said with a wide smile spreading across her face. The combination made it the perfect month.

"Hmmm..." Lucas wasn't sure of his favorite month or season. He didn't really have one. His least favorite was probably winter because he could still remember nearly freezing to death out in the woods when they had a huge snowstorm by his town one year. As a werewolf it was even worse since he couldn't exactly fit into the many jackets and hadn't traveled with a pack or other wolves, so he had no cave to run into and take shelter in that he knew of. He was completely buried in the snow before his parents found him. He got a huge punishment for not going out to the car on time...well sorry mom and dad i was busy freezing underneath three feet of snow. Okay, so not winter. Summer wasn't too terrible, he at least didn't have school then, but he still was trapped in the house. Bored. So not summer. Spring...nothing really wrong with spring. Except it was hunting season around his town, so late at night and early in the morning he would sometimes hear hunters creeping out into the woods. They never hunted in the area he transformed in, his parents didn't want him biting one of the hunters, especially since they were muggles, but it was horrifying when he was a kid, not long after the bite, hearing gun shots in the distance and coming across men dragging dead deer and bucks on their backs and driving away with them strapped to their car. He only watched early in the morning when he had nothing better to do. and he wasn't a werewolf, then it was back into the woods for that night. Fall...yep. Nothing wrong with fall.
"Fall's my favorite season too." He said smiling earnestly. He just had different reasoning.

" And it's October 26th, right? What would you want for your birthday?" He asked, remembering her saying something about her birthday in one of their past conversations as well.

The smile got wider if that was even possible when Lucas said Fall was also his favorite season. Yet another thing they had in common. She looked around herself at the surroundings again and noticed that they had been out here a while. It was getting later and chillier. She shivered slightly and thought that they should probably head inside soon.

Fionna nodded and said, "Yep. The 26th of October is the celebration of my birth!" She chuckled slightly at her wording. What did she want? Fionna really had no idea. She always wanted books, but that was really obvious. She loved clothes, but guys didn't really like shopping for clothes. She thought a few moment before finally saying, "Well there's some books I've been dying for of course, but I've also been looking to expand my accessories. Necklaces, bracelets, rings etc." She paused and tried to think of some other things. "I can't really think of anything right now." She admitted and shrugged. That probably didn't help at all. Lucas was probably planning on getting her something and she wasn't helping him much.

Fionna shivered again. "Do you want to head in? It's getting a bit chilly and it looks as if a storm might be on it's way." Fionna said as she observed the sky. She could just imagine a lovely autumn storm. The lightning striking down from the heavens in a flash of yellow. She loved drawing scenes like that, but they were hard to capture just right.

Lucas laughed a bit at her joke and listened intently when she said what she wanted. Books and jewelry. That was doable. Books...he wondered for a moment why she wasn't in Ravenclaw and why he wasn't in Hufflepuff. She was so smart...then again, Gryffindor did seem to fit her, she was bold and brave as well. But why was he in her house? He was a total wimp, earlier with Rhi proved that, and he had plenty of other countless examples. He wasn't about to argue why he was in a house with her though, he should just count himself lucky. Maybe his bravery would show in due time? It was bound to...eventually?

"Books and jewelry." He said. "i'll keep that in mind, and sure. Do you want to go to the library, common room...?"
He found himself hoping that there wasn't a storm, then Quidditch for tomorrow may be cancelled and then how could he prove he was a devoted member of the team? He had already missed one and knew he'd probably be tired on the 13th. He looked up at the clouds as if to say, don't you dare make it rain tomorrow. Just do something I want for once, okay?
