Wanda flew out of her brother/sister's arms, crashed into a tree and fell on the ground. She was laying there, dizzy and filled with illimited hatred toward the idiot who couldn't watch his steps. "What a rescue," she moaned while trying to get up. "Now I really wish to kill you for this." So the eternal question poped up: to kick or not to kick?
Inside the base, carnage found a new name: Freya. Her fire spirit got rid of everything on their way and just when they were about to reach the labs, Freya saw Penance on the ground. "They like to give me a hard time. They really do. Efreet, take her to her friends please." The spirit nodded, took them both on her: Penny in her arms and Freya on her back.
However, the adrenaline was gone and Freya couldn't focus enough on the spirit. She vanished and both girls fell on the ground.
"Dammit dammit and re-dammit!" she said with strange french accent. "Yes, I KNOW it's going to collapse on both of us! ... What?! Leaving her behind? Ok, whose joke is that? ARGH! I don't have time for this."
An arm around Penny's waist and Penny's arm around her neck, Freya lifted the girl and dragged themselves toward the exit.

ooc: ugh... I'm sorry to slow down the plot, but today i got called in to close when i stayed up late the night before. then got the second job i was trying for. AND have to work both places as 8 hour shifts tomorrow... i'm rather tired. i'll try to post a little
ic:
Gen frowned at being taken away from her fire toy. "I'll see him soon enough... I'm certain of that." she muttered, and left with the others.
Regina got everyone through the shadows to the SUV by following a path that the shadows made for her via one of the other student's mind set. She worried about Porter. He was strong but the bullets hit him as solidly as anyone else she knew. He wasn't invincible. Once she got everyone to the van she stopped.
"You all stay here, I"ll return." she bolted back into the shadows at that point and found Porter in yet another corridor. "You're hard to track down." She was cautious to avoid his eyes, sticking to staring at his nose like she did everyone else. Though.... she was very tempted. One could tell a lot about a person from their eyes...

"Your timing couldn't be better," He said when Regina showed up. He was quite glad too. As much as he was on a high moral horse, he really wasn't ready to die in a pile of rubble. He had unlocked all of the prisoners who were fleeing in various manners.
As Regina was trying to look at him and he was purposely looking away, he thought he might finally take Xavier up on a telepathic session. It was getting rediculous how far he had to keep people at a distance. Besides, she's graduating... I won't get fired in a month or so...
"Did Freya leave yet?" He asked trying not to show the pain he had running down his back from being clawed.
"I didn't see her," Regina answered.
That's when they heard the building start shaking. He took her arm, "Then let's grab her before she's lost in all of this too. She went down that stairwell."

Dodging was something she was used to. However, with an unconscious person and the fourth of her usual energy, Freya couldn't get the performance she wanted and managed to protect Penance from the occasional rumbling with her own body. Which wasn't the best of ideas since after a part of the wall fell on them, she pushed the out cold girl out of the way and half of Freya's body got stuck under it.
I believe this wasn't my plan. I was supposed to get to the kids, beat the s**t out of them to bring them back to something near sanity and get out of here to continue my peaceful life. Right. That was my plan. So why am I stuck under a wall?
She was lying there like a dead person and staring at Penance. Without help, the girl will die here and her soul won't be at peace. That was something Freya couldn't accept. She pushed her fist on the ground and yelled "I'm not going to die here!" Help... Anyone help me...
Accidents in life happen. No one can deny that. What happened at the moment Freya asked for help was an accident more than fate.
The scarlet witch made a hole in the wall and started to use her powers to move the falling parts away from the two girls. She was with a feminine version of Pietro.
"Hurry up and take the girl. I'll take care of Freya," she ordered her compagnon.
Freya blinked at them. "Well I wasn't expecting THIS to happen."
"If you're not happy, I can always leave you here. That will teach me to be worried about you," harshly answered Wanda as she used her powers to free her friend from the rumbles. "Instead of rushing in with an annoying twin sister and making holes to get to you faster, I'll stay home and drink coffee instead and watch Baywatch!"
"You watching Baywatch? Now that's something I would pay to see," grinned Freya who slowly got up.
"Oh shush. And Pietra, a scratch on that girl and I swear I'll brainwash you and turn you into a baby for the rest of your life."
"I taught you well my young padawan," said Freya with her usual smile.

Regina pulled Porter through the last of their shadows for the mission. They ended up at the SUV where a group of silent kids stood watching a building start to crumble.
He didn't know for any certainty that Freya, Penny, Gen, or any of the other prisoners got out of the building. What he had to hold onto is that he did the best he could.
You can't save everybody. He reminded himself really wanting to believe it. What the hell was Xavier thinking? Demolishing this building was dangerous and could have killed more people than destroying experiments. I am going to have serious words with him after this.
"Do you to want a ride home?" He asked Pyro and Noko.

Rage, as he was now known, stood a good 200 yards away from the building as it collapsed. The others wanted to stay more up close and watch it crumble. Rage wanted to stand afar and see if anyone survived at all. And there was.
Upon the ridge that he stood on, he could see faint shadows moving around the northern perimeter. Roughly six or so bodies moving quickly away from the rubble, so he surmised. Part of the rescue attempt. As he stood there watching, he saw a couple of lights blink up on his transporter device. Interesting little device it was, considering it also had a communications link with their master.
"Rage," Ahab said sternly, "I assume the facility has fallen?"
"Correct."
"And the doctor?"
"Dead....although I am quite disappointed that I didn't get to watch him suffer," Rage said.
"He failed horribly. His death is no matter in this game," Ahab said with a hint of disdain for the good doctor. "And I promise, you will have an opportunity to not only witness, but to cause suffering."
After a few minutes, Rage descended on the other's position. The one known as the Frost Queen was still muttering about not being able to toy with the fire bug any longer. The others just stood there, looking on as everything in front of them kept falling down.
"The master has already re-located, and we are to do the same," Rage said in his normal demeanor. The demeanor of a very calm and collected psychopathic killer. "He is locking on to our positions, and we shall all be leaving in a few moments."
"Where are we going?," he had heard someone ask.
Rage could not answer. He had disappeared before the others, and when he reappeared, Ahab stood in front of him. Diligently, Rage waited for the others to appear, and for them to be set out on the hunt.

John hugged noko in a bear hug. "You had me scared silly woman! I swear if I ever get my hands on that guy, he'll wish he was never born. "Do you two want a ride home?" a boy asked. John looked up at the boy. He new it wasn an X-men at the first look of the kid. He was about to say no, when he looked down at Noko. If he was by himself, he'd walk home, but he wasn't and she looked like she could use some rest asap. "Sure," he said in an uneasy voice.

For some reason, watching the building demolish, brought a slight ping of joy to Venom. She could see smoke billowing around where the building once was, as she stood there with the others. She could hear Frost Queen muttering to herself about who knew what, and Pharoah didn't seem to be speaking at all. She sighed to herself, a cloud of dark green brushing past her lips.
There would be more of us. That stupid girl. What does she think she can do? She can't run forever. She thought to herself, as she watched some of the smoke begin to clear. She turned as she heard movement behind the three of them.
She looked at Rage, waiting to see what he had to say to them. "The master has already re-located, and we are to do the same. He is locking on to our positions, and we shall all be leaving in a few moments."
She watched him as he spoke. He seemed as cold as the Frost Queen. She nodded, not saying a word. Someone questioned where they were going, not sure which of them it was.
She took one last glace as the rubble of the building as Rage disappeared, finding herself following behind him seconds later.

OOC: Who are you calling boy? smile j/k Personally, I would call a 25 year old a man wink And AAAHHH Mr.Logan has turned into PYRO!!!
IC: Porter had the kids pile into the SUV. After summoning Storm from the X-Jet, they took Danielle immediately with them. There was better medical care in the air than being piled into a truck with other kids. Nobody said much of anything as he drove them back to the edge of town where the Brotherhood house was.
"Pyro," Porter said as they left the SUV, "Not that you need my praise, you fought well against that hound. These guys are ruthless. Be careful."
He didn't wait for an answer. He was pretty sure it was going to be something smart or a finger or something along those lines. Porter read their files. The Xavier camp wasn't exactly welcomed with open arms. Not that Porter cared. Right now, they were all mutants and they were all under attack.
"What we get back, you all need to go to the infirmary for a routine field check up and debriefing," Porter looked in the rear view mirror and headed for the Institute.
Regina was staring out the window. He knew she was worried about Evelyn, "Don't worry. I'm sure Freya got her."
----------
Penny's head was still about to explode from sensory overload. When she started to slightly wake up, she saw that some weird feminine Pietro had her. Am I in hell? Is this how I get thanked for saving people's asses? Are all of hell's messengers Pietro look alikes?

A few hundred feet above the destruction, Magneto levitated effortlessly above the ground. His helmet kept the telepaths out, while his own electromagnetic interference prevented any electronic detection. He frowned softly, noting one of his most prized disciples among these "Hounds."
Deplorable as the act was, Magneto remained impressed. This process was not a mere brainwashing, nor electronic implants. There was no single method to how these "Hounds" were swayed, but the end result of a dozen methods had made their condition all but incurable. He pondered for a moment, and wondered if this mere human's process might succeed where his own telepathic and technokinetic ((technology based mutation))followers had failed before.
Pietro, ensure that no one pursues their attackers. I will be following them, and at least for the moment, discretion is preferred. Allow them to think they are operating in secret for now, as I believe there is far more to this than any of you have seen so far...
