Conventions are super great because suddenly everyone is BFF's. It's the only place in the world where you get that. Random, unsolicited hugs are welcome and everyone's your teammate on a game. It's weird and nice.

School was... interesting... today.
Had a guest who came in and spoke to the entire high school about drugs, alcohol, tobacco, cell phones, and texting while driving. A lot of scary facts, videos, pictures, and voice clips.
I'd already sworn off the whole drug thing, and I wasn't planning on chatting while I drive anyway, but man... This guy knows where to stick his needles.
He did not censor a freaking thing, and it was horrifying and heart-breaking.
I was in tears for most of the day.
If you can get this guy in to your school, I suggest you do. o-o
But yeah. It was a hard day.
Especially when people were being jerks.

It happens. In the end, it's one of the only ways to get the point across that it's bad.
tl;dr, Why censor the truth?
Or that's my opinion, at least. It is rather disturbing though.

I'm still shaking from listening to some of the sound clips. The one video was just as terrifying. It's even scarier knowing that they're real.

I saw those videos and I was more bored than terrified.

Well, I know what you mean there.
I use terrifying as a lack for a better word.
I just don't HAVE words.
I don't know if you've seen this video or not, but I recommend that you DO watch it. It's the more moving of the two videos we were shown. I don't have access to the sound clips, but they were a million times worse, simply because they were real.

EDIT: I'm kind of pathetic right now. A little shaken. So don't mind my repetitive-ness. If you don't feel like watching the video or whatever, just ignore it.

I... honestly found that funny. At least the minute and a half I watched it of. The shaking was so overdramatic, it's finally over and then another car's like "BOO!"
And then when it's finally done it pans to a sign that says "Welcome safe drivers".
Car crashes are horrible, horrible things that result in significant injury and death year round. That video didn't portray that. It portrayed lots of shaking and misplaced irony.
