˻№ ჯ˳ ʃ Castle Oblivion || Kitchen Ħ ˹The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.˼ 'Kyozuto.'
The name lit an invisible flame behind her eyes; silent, hidden; more akin to bile crawling up one's throat than to roasting in a flickering red embrace. It had been a long time since she had seen his face, heard his voice, chocked on his malevolent stench.
'Kyozuto.'
Lifting the cup for her last sip, Aiko cradled the porcelain piece gingerly in her fingers, but there was something off with her genteel movements, as if indignation was simply pouring out of their wake. With both elbows on the table and her teacup by her lips, Aiko's eyes darted to the smoke child. Her pupils dilated into fiendish slits, but not at the sight of the youth. He was serious for once. She'd only seen it once before, and even then, it was gone sooner that it had arrived. Sobriety didn't look good on him. No, it wasn't this boy.
'Kyozuto...'˻So it all comes down to what you want. Worms, or cheese.˺

[ ȤęҟνƴƦ ] {Don't fear the dark... fear what's in it.} [Enchanted Dominion: Maleficent's Castle] "It is an offer," Zekvyr said, allowing his tone to become more subdued. Pride would not serve him in a task such as this. He felt, and fought, an odd urge to explain more than what was needed, a desire to get her on his side no matter the cost. He wondered if that was from her very nature, some spell of magic, or simply the cut of her clothing. Now how to put this... "An offer that is not mine to make." He'd have to explain quickly, or she would start thinking this was another word game and leave. "I would offer you a passage to a more comfortable castle– one more suited to your style. Your necromancy has peeked my interest, and the interest of my superior," it was the first reference that he was even part of an organization. Before that point, he had just been a rogue drow, at least in the eyes of the lighter skinned elf. "And as I bore you, any further offers would be made by him."

The swordsman smiled, commenting flatly, "Then if I see them in the darkness, I'll pull them back out. Daemon and Saiuki- I'll have to remember those names." Core left the cafe, making his way to the large door that led to the numerous Gummi Ships. He rested Mugenken against the wall before leaning against it himself, smiling as the idea of a force so strong it can steal one's heart. Maybe that force will be among those I walk over on my way to the top... I can't wait!

[*~Youni~*] "...."
[First district: Merlin's Hut]
....Everything started with-
..a sin against nature.

“If you believe so Aerith.” Came the un-opinionated reply of her charge as she came closer. Make no mistake- Youni did agree with the probability that the meeting with the new arrivals brought a sensation of elation and perhaps pleasure to the kind hearted young woman. Youni herself absorbed much information and new facts to fill her with- but where more information was applied, more questions sprung up in bold lettering. Gaps between ideas were now so obvious to her… “Aerith, what will become of them now? They’re all alone like use right? Will going outside Traverse town make their situation better?” She smelled the eggs, noticing the spices Aerith must’ve added to create the fragrance and proceeded without asking to set the table. This was a first. Not that Youni was lazy- no- but she needed some kind of signal, a command or cue. As she set the plates on the table something seemed to click in her mind- and she physically paused. "Window is leaving. We will not see him again will we?"

{Life, death, it does not matter. All that matters is that they are mine.}
[Enchanted Dominion: Maleficent's Castle]
The female looked up, turning her head to face the Drow. She was mildly surprised. He had swallowed his pride to say that in that way, and the fact that he had admitted to having a leader was...interesting. Plus, this way, she assumed that if he was willing to do this, they wanted her. But for what? Curious, curious....
"Alright, let us away to this castle, then. I make no promise as to what will happen, but you have piqued my curiosity." Placing another book in a zombie's arms, her magic flared out, new zombies entering the room and emptying the rest of the bookshelves, holding onto the books they took off.
"Looks like the rest of the books will have to wait for me to look through. Oh well."

~Window~ [Traverse Town:: Merlin's House] Window almost gasped in surprise at Nalo's physical contact, especially in so familiar a way. Although he managed to suppress the verbal noise, he still visibly stiffened. The man had forgotten about the Viera's intimacy during his sleep, catching him off guard now. Window would not forget it for the rest of the day, though. He kept his momentary annoyance closely guarded and instead deflected Nalo's attention with a passing remark: "I must inform you that there is a few pieces of straw in your hair." The man was usually a morning person, but today in particular began fairly stressful and sleepless, setting his mind on edge. It would be another 15 minutes or so before he went back to his normal self, though if there was food involved the process would be considerably facilitated. For the most part, though, probably no one would have noticed a difference about Window. Hopefully with Nalo's hands distracted, Window could stand and fix his hair. Slightly more blunt than usual, he replied, "I do think nourishment would help in this instance, especially after a day like yesterday. If you don't mind terribly, I would like to take either yours or Merlin's offer. I will try and pay you back of course in any way possible. Shall we depart, then?"

[Traverse Town :: Inn :: Lobby ] "A bounty?" Suzu cocked her head to the side, taken back by the newcomer's words. Discreetly looking the man up and down, he hardly looked like he came from Eiengetsu. Who assigned him with such a task? Had she and Kuu been away from home for so long that they no longer knew what was going on? How was her family? She missed geomancy lessons with her father, she missed skipping stones with her brother and mother. She missed cuddling with her moon bunny.
The heiress sighed as she shifted the weight of the scythe on her back. Perhaps in the time that they were away, more misfortunes had happened on their world. Why else would they call a bounty hunter? Was she just too slow in uncovering anything? Despite the war in her head, Suzu inclined her head politely at Kellan's introduction.
"I'm Suzu Amemiya, Princess of Eiengetsu. My brother and I are also after Haruko. Aside from taking part in plotting a rebellion, she may also be linked to the heartless attack that followed," Suzu replied rather hesitantly. She wanted to know about how Kellan came into this bounty. Had he visited Eiengetsu?

Life is an Illusion, Therefore, We all Believe the Same Lie ~ Traverse Town--> First District-->Cafe~ Rasxa smiled, the very idea of someone being able to reach into the darkness and bring them back like that a very happy one. Before he could thank Cornelius, he had already went out the door to who knows where. Looking over, he saw a new waitress coming with his food, steaming hot. "Why, thank you kindly. Whatever happened to the other waitress?" He asked, vaguely curious as he took his plate of food. "She suddenly left, all excited, with a whole bunch of this foreign kind of golden stuff in her hands. She said something about realizing her dream." The waitress said with a shrug and wandered away. Rasxa frowned a bit, wondering what this weird stuff could be, but then he finally gave up, digging into his food. I'm feeling in a much better mood now. Or maybe that's because I have the food now that I'm feeling better... Ah well... whatever. He thought, savoring the many tastes that it has.

[-ɮΔɩʇѻ§-] |♫ Lu~lu~lu~ ♪| [-Traverse Town | First District | Baitos' Repair Shop-]The night previous, Baitos and Thales had both parted ways. The seemingly young Inuwa had returned to his repair shop and called it a night. the next morning he was up and about in his small loft kitchen cooking up eggies in a basket for himself and a side of bacon. The circles in the toasting bread were perfect, having been cut with something extremely sharp. Kodama was impaled on the top of the beat up counter, along with scraps of bread.
"Lu~lu~lu~" Baitos said to himself as he flipped the toasting bread, and stepping away from the stove to get two eggs out of a rustic looking fridge. He guided the door shut with his foot as he got the eggs, and walked back to stove. Soon enough there where two eggies in a basket served on a brown plate with of course the bacon.
"Lovely~" Grinning, the Inuwa went downstairs from his loft above the repair shop and outside onto the porch to his favorite rocking chair and nestled himself in it before setting the plate down on a foot stool nearby.

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}
[Traverse Town : Inn ~ Green Room -> Lobby]
Soryuju waved at Suzuran shortly after getting out of his room, as she called out to them. However, there seemed to be a bit of commotion in the lobby where they were all gathering. For one, a man in a sheet came out and talked to Suzuran as if they'd met before; probably when she went and found Moggie. Then, there was a man talking with Kuropo (and then Suzuran) about a girl named Haruko; he seemed mute, but... did his hair just change colors?
Shugotenshi managed to catch up and whisper something to him that, normally, would have frustrated Soryuju, but the dragon knight didn't seem to pay it any mind. The man was doing his duty as a guard, simple as that.
As the strange, well-built man turned to ask Suzuran and Shugotenshi about 'Haruko', the name struck a cord, immediately placing them slightly on edge. The blond kept silent, looking between the two as he pieced together what was going on- he couldn't quite read what the man was writing, so all he had to go on was Suzuran's responses.
A bounty... something about a rebel, and since Suzu gave her formal title... a rebel against her own kingdom?
"So you think Haruko has gone world-hopping?" Soryuju asked, glancing from the two heirs to their bodyguard. "Is she dangerous?"

[Third District : Merlin's House --> First District : Restaurant]"Yes, very well! Off we go!" Merlin announced, and in less time than it took to scratch one's ear, they were in the First District, just outside the restaurant near the Gummi Hangar (also known as the entrance to Traverse Town). From their spot, they could very easily see the Gummi Ship parked in the center of the large courtyard.
"Go on in and have a bite to eat," Merlin said, pushing up the sleeve on his wand arm as if to get ready for a bit of hefty magic. "I'll be right in, just need to take care of this nonsense."
With that, he began to wave his arm, and blue dust began to slowly drift out of the wand, slowly enveloping the ship. It would take a few moments before he could do anything- Gummi's had a special bit of magic, due to what they were made of.

[Third District : The Survivors' Apartment]"We don't know if that will help them," Aerith explained, turning around slowly at the sound of chinking china and silverware. That was new. That was... that was an improvement. She knew what to do without being asked; another sign that she was beginning to understand habits. Smiling, she went back to fixing the breakfast up.
"We may see him again. We don't know what the future holds...," Aerith responded, bringing the food to the table for the two of them. There was a slight gleam in her eyes, as if she was thinking harder than usual. "Youni... do you want to see Window again? We could probably see him before he leaves."

{A heart shed for power is the only heart of worth.}
[Castle Oblivion : Kitchen] As Shade asked 'his' question, Vereor pondered his response in quiet, allowing the others to voice their own questions. With Fal'Navi's question, came Masenko's answer. The Veiled Gorgon nodded silently, still in thought.
"They are, essentially, what legends would describe as the 'True' Keyblades, and it's entirely possible that they could acquire them," he explained, glancing at the center of the table as if to recall some old, forgotten detail. "However, the chances are remarkably slim. There are numerous False Keys floating around, but we need not fear them- they are no more dangerous than an ordinary blade."
"As for you, young nin," Vereor spoke up, turning his golden eyes to face the ninja, their hollow gaze likely sending a chill up her spine. "You will accompany us to Wonderland. Upon bearing witness, we will give you a choice. Until then, you are our guest. Now, why don't you have some tea?"

[ӈ Ʌ ʀ ʯ Ӄ Φ] {Ooo GOODY! Stuff to Torture} [Castle Oblivion; Kitchen] Haruko pouted at the reaction from the two girls. Both girls didn’t want to play with her. It was always the same with them. They never wanted to play with her. Haruko decided then to drink most of her tea and listen in on the conversation. The one conversation that she focused on the most was the one on the “Keyblades.” As Haruko thought about it, it would be cool if she had a keyblade. Then she would be more useful and noticed by the other Conclave members. “Vereor?” Haruko asked jumping a little, “Do you think any of us could get a keyblade? Maybe then we could use it for our own needs.” Haruko also thought about going over to Wonderland to watch the fireworks and decided that she would go to Wonderland. “I will go to Wonderland!” , Haruko raised up her hand, “It sounds like fun and I also wanted to meet our superior! Maybe he is a lot more fun than Aria and Aiko.”

The Nobody couldn't help but chuckle at Haruko's suggestion. "I can't really hold it against ya for not knowing any of this, mini-nin. I wouldn't either if my dad hadn't studied those damn keys so much. To answer your question, though, not likely. The main requirement to wield a Keyblade is an unusually strong heart, and the only ones in this room that might meet that requirement don't have hearts." With that, the ninja turned his head to Vereor, raising an eyebrow before asking, "By the way, what's with that? All these Keyblades floating around? It felt like that whole world was on fire with Keyblade light."
