I don't think we need to go that far, but good job. The effort shows, even if Riku does want you gutter-minded. I may not be at the the Saturday meet, as a trip is coming up.

I'm a no show on Saturday even though I am brand new. I play Magic the Gathering, so I will be at a pre-release for the next set meeting an artist and trying new cards out.

I'm sure there would be plenty of people jealous of you, Wyrn. I've never played the magic gathering thing.
The unpervy Dun is way better. *high-fives Dun*

There are probably tonnes of geeks that would envy you. And geeks aren't really that bad to talk to... Well except for this guy at school who would talk about runescape for 5 hours straight if we let him.

JK...kind of... Actually...I'm kind of new to it, so, maybe only a half-hour tops.
Damn, this guy said he'd invite me to his friends' meets...this was half a year ago, tho... sweatdrop
We're all geeks here... Well, most of us, anyway.

Oh what do you play? I personally like the 3.5 system over the 4.0 one for D&D. No matter what though, I love to play druids.

D: Unfortunately, I haven't really played much (hence, newbie), but from what I have done/heard, I like 3.5, as well. Apparently, they screwed everything up in 4.0 (again, only what I've heard,) but that's the ruleset I'm currently playing with.
Not to mention, I don't have any friends IRL, so I don't really have anyone to play with or teach my newbish butt what to do.
I personally have a liking for bards, myself. Yeah, I know they're pretty useless, but I like the versatility.
Hmm...I have played some of the comp games with the DnD setup, tho...like Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights...

4.0 is like WOW in Tabletop form. They made it too simple and really hard to customize.
Bards are good. A friend of mine liked playing Bard Barbarians.
I had a changeling bard once. That was a lot of fun actually.

You're missing out xD
I usually go for acrobat-type bards. Like, with Parry and Tumble skills and stuff.
But I couldn't give up the spellcasting abilities I like, so that's why I don't play a straight thief. (And I don't really like dual-classing)

Your missing out for not duel classing. It can be a lot of fun. Especially when you have the levels to spare for it.
I'm in a current game system called Deadlands Reloaded where I play a Huckster. I'm a Thief with magic powers that comes from demons. Pretty much best of both worlds.

Hmm...it's just, I prefer to get really good at one class instead of becoming moderately okay at two.

Jade Guardian Hmm...it's just, I prefer to get really good at one class instead of becoming moderately okay at two. There are duel classing games. I never did one myself but it is pretty easy to set up a system where you have two classes that level at the same time... at least it was in 3.5 unfortunately no duel classes in 4.0
