Miguel stopped walking as he heard her voice. he slowly turned around. it took him a moment to respond, but he did after a second or two. as small smile came onto his face as he nodded. "yeah." as he said it, he let out a sigh of relief. it was good to see a familiar, friendly face.

Delaya let out a sigh in relief, "Where have you been? You've been missing for a few days now....the counsil even sent out a watch for you."

"im not skittish..." inwardly, he was fearing that she'd figure out something. however, this didnt show outwardly.

Miguel gave a slight sigh of releif, sort of quietly. "so... whatve i missed..." he paused, but then added, "since i was gone..."

Miguel smiled, sort of. it was only partially real. "thats... good." he was just glad that after his little 'trip,' there was nothing hectic to come back to. he felt like adding something to make his absence seem more official. "i didnt run into much either..." that was just complete bullcrap, but still...
